With this sort of nonsense, how do we hope to attract investors into this godforsaken country?
How? Please, let me know, for it escapes me.
When I last studied Economics in secondary school, the key factors that attract investors include:

1. Adequate security
2. Adequate power supply
3. Availability of infrastructure
4. Accommodating business policies.
So far, we've failed 1-3 woefully! And as for number 4, fraud and spineshattering corruption no dey even gree us do anything meaningful here.

Wait a second. I just checked my sources. The poster is a BLATANT LIAR! TheJurist = Johnsonnna = GeniusGuy. The same guy who carried a fake story about Orji Kalu's mother being stricken by AIDS.
Check his threads. He's busy talking to himself. SMH
I don't even see the attraction a grown man can have for a pre-pubescent 11 year old girl.

Desecrating anyone is bad of course, but a little kid?

I'm about as physically attracted to little kids as I am to cars or bikes.

Must be mental illness of some sort.
Tell me about it. Flat chest, flat nyesh, narrow hips, wide waist, squeaky voice, thin thighs, FIGURE ONE!!!, short height. Arrrgh! I can't deal, bro. I cannot! angry

Politics › Re: Is Fashola God? Or Are His Supporters Simply Sychophants by Ejine(m): 12:52pm On Dec 08, 2011
I think it has more to do about the emotional investments they have in their heroes, and not necessarily sycophancy.
Like Beaf, for example. The way he stood behind GEJ through all the times the cabal was treating him badly, is making it difficult for him to accept it when GEJ errs. He'd be heartbroken. Like "You mean after sticking out our necks for you, you're becoming the exact force we fought against? Naw, it can't be true."
Same goes for Gbawe. With all the mess the PDP's done to Ogun, Oyo, Ekiti and Osun, his only choice is sticking with the ACN and praying they, somehow, destroy the PDP in the end.
A man's gotta find a hero in someone, hey?
Can't say I blame these people, really. undecided

Ogedo:
Thanks 2 u all who really wanted 2 know more about my post concerning the cunning & illegal amendment of the isopadec law in imo state. First before a law is amended it has to go thru consultation and read 1st and 2nd reading but for this case such procedures was never adhered to. Even in the NDDC such law & procedure are followed but rochas and the speaker has done their worst, it is now time for us to do our best. How on earth can somebody not producing oil be appointed as isopadec and the MD. Is time for we the oil producing communities to rise up against this unwarranted marginalization meted to us. As for us in awarra, the oil well must be blocked from flowing unless this thing is reverted even if a million soldiers are stationed in the oil field.
Ol' boy, the one and only advice I go give you na to go find betta work. It is this same narrow mentality of yours that is breeding heavy laziness and militancy in our Niger Delta. People who have nothing else on their minds except sitting their lazy nyesh on the chair and waiting for oil money to fall on their laps instead of furthering their education, getting jobs and doing more meaningful things to positively impact their lives. "Our oil."
SMH.

Maybe the 'creativity' award is as a result of his hyper-righteous filter engine.

L e s b i a n = Lady loving lady
G a y = Man Lover
B u t t = Bottom

"Have a yabba-dabba doo time. A dabba-doo time. We'll have a g a y old time" = "Have a yabba-dabba doo time. A dabba-doo time. We'll have a MAN LOVER old time."

Classic! grin

Okada Man Dies In Jubiliation - Nigerian Horn

In what may be best described as a celebration gone too far, the event of December 6th, 2011, has reportedly claimed the life of an Ohafia-born motorcyclist, Ojioso Agaumuahia.
According to witnesses who spoke with Nigerian Horn, this incident is not unconnected to the recent announcements regarding the Alaigbo electoral nominees. It has been revealed that as soon as news of the disqualification of Okija_juju was confirmed, Mr. Agaumuahia, with his motorcycle, took to the streets in celebration, performing the most superhuman stunts ever known to man, to mark this historic triumph of electoral justice.
A close friend and eyewitness explains further: "He was trying to do the triple-drift when the unfortunate incident happened."
"I'm not really sure about the whole thing. Everything just happened so fast," continued the witness. "As soon as he was informed of Okija's disqualification, he said he was going to perform a move 'never before seen,'" the witness said.
"So he set out to do a move such that he'd be blazing his bike at a speed of 940km/h while moonwalking on it at the same time. It was only unfortunate he ran into an icecream bicycle."
But after a few minutes of silence, the witness looked up and said, "It was a heroic death. He died for his country."

@Relax101 - Ezeagu is an Ika son? That's completely new to me! And all along, I though he was an Aro. I must've mistaken him for EzeUche's alternative handle (after a ban or something).

Anyway, didn't know he was running. Haven't seen that deep into the thread.
Too many candidates though. Some of them should agree and join forces IMHO.

Ndokwa-Born Elder Expresses Fears Over Ballot Box Snatching - Nigerian Horn

An Ndokwa elder of the Ndiigbo 'South-South Branch Office' of Delta State, Chief Ejiné Egoagwughiagwu 'Ichie Onye Ego N'achu Oso', has called on the Alaigbo electoral commissioner, Point Bialelechukwu, to be vigilant at all times, in order to ensure a free and fair election completely devoid of ballot snatching by unscrupulous characters as well as ballot stuffing in support of a certain candidate who is currently backed by a band of aluta singing rascals. This he made known in his recent interview with Nigerian Horn.

Okija_juju's Blood Oath With The Ogboni Fraternity - Nigerian Horn

Information reaching Nigerian Horn is that the questionably (un)popular Okija_juju is indeed a member of the Reformed Ogboni Fraternity. This was learnt from a reliable source, pleading anonymity, who had more than enough to tell.
"Can you believe this man has no regards for human life? I have worked under him in the previous years, and I can tell you that he is a member of the cult; and I shall employ everything within reach to put an end to this menace. Don't tell him I said so please!" begged the source.

Nigeria isn't a poor country, DanJohn. With all the oil wealth, I'm shocked people think so.
This story about Nigeria's poverty is simply what the politicians tell you so you can give them breathing space as they loot happily.

After due consideration, I nominate the one and only OnlyTruth! Oga that speaks only the truth. I've read his posts through the days, and he always appears to me as someone that really has a deep, unconditional love for his people.

I would've also loved to nominate GenBuhari, but I only gat room for one nomination. Otherwise, he's also a great person whose posts I enjoy.

Hall of Fame
Chinua Achebe: For looking beyond the glittery diamond served by an extremely rotten hand, and showing us once more that dignity is what really matters in life. This he demonstrated by bluntly, albeit politely, turning down the National Award offered by Jonathan and the Federal Government for their failure to really stand up to their real responsibilities, which comprise the safety of the people among many others.

Hall of Shame
The one and only Reuben Abati: Oh, who would have guessed that this man would become the very thing he blasted all these years? Selling out is one thing; and ultimately killing off the people's faith in the integrity of news columnists is another. I think Mr. Abati single-handedly accomplished both, this year.
