Pls Dont waste ur money l for Masters in Nigeria. Channel that fund to Computer pls. The opportunity of u landing a job is very high especially if u go into programming. Dont let any1 decieve u there's nothing in these fields: Biochemistry, Microbiology, Zoology, And many other natural science field because there's. no job prospect.As I am now I will never advise my enemy to pick any dept from natural science or engineering!. Funny enough I came out with distinction @ MSc level only to be given a lecturing job of 40k which I dropped to follow the path of PYTHON. Since then I have been happy but it took pain from me

Its more about using python in building predictive models.That's where the future is. You only need d basics of Python. But u need to be good with math/stats to some extent. Moreover u need to be intuitive in ur thinking.
I have some udemy courses on machine learning. But I Dont know where u base

Mine was studying Biochemistry!. I now hate that field with passion despite being good @ it. Was so naive to the point I bagged a masters only to discover the precious talent I have been running from which was computer. Gosh! I hate biochemistry!. In other to salvage those lost times I started studying extensively while depriving myself sleep in the night just to balance up in the field of programming. I thank God I did. Now on my PhD I'm integrating machine learning to that thing called Biochemistry.! Gosh I was so damn naive with 264 in jamb 10years ago I foolishly took biochemistry.. That's my biggest regret in life

U want him to go and learn Fortran ni? Abi COBOL..? I have a lot of computer science graduate as friends struggling with ordinary JS script.
Programming ain't a class thing. Its a dedication & intense practice not cramming to score A.. From my understanding do u think a PhD holder or prof can talk on Python or GoLang or Swift or JavaScript or those framework they weren't aware in their time.most of those lecturer can only boast of VisualBasic, some Java. Programming is writing codes the hardway because there a changes as time goes on and if u Dont go with that change u lose big time. Ask guys trying to switch from Angular 1 to Angular4.Abi shey lecturer get time to tell u Angular ni?

TIP!! it's not easy to track all courses on the site. So what I do is type the course I'm looking for on google and include torrent. It'll link me straight to the site if it's there.

Bro u have chosen the right path!.. Web development with nodeJs,Ruby,Django is the future. No near php abeg!. Php has nothing to offer apart from web. Machine learning & data science is the real future in the world right now.
I'm on django too.+ machine learning+nodeJs.I should be sufficient @ least 90% before this year runs out in machine learning

U right!.. It's not easy as u stated. Its based on dedication & hard work. Hard work in sense of writing codes even when you are learning. Its deeper than u think. Understand the fundamentals of HTML&CSS. JavaScript is also basic but if u looking for language to align to,pls go 4 PYTHON!. I will never advice anyone to learn php because there's no future on dat language

What's the difference between a data analyst and a machine learning experts? And what do I need to learn to be a data analyst at least

machine learning experts build models from already analyzed chunks of data from analyst.. Data analyst look for patterns and draw their hypothesis.They work hand in hand together

I wouldn't advice any1 to move to any NIIT or ApTech when it comes to programming. In fact they just need ur money. Programming is more of logical reasoning & thinking.If someone thinks he can grab a single language by just doing 6months training I just laugh in Swahili.
I would advice any person to go straight to UDEMY or TREEHOUSE or UDACITY to get full programming skills rather than wasting resources. I remembered when I used to think that its only institute that takes programming serious of which I lost a huge sum of money due to my naive nature then.
