I don't like talking on the phone. I'm not good at it, I get distracted easily if the conversation drags on too long. What I usually do now when a girl is talking to long is to put on speaker phone and just do something else. And then say "unh hunh" periodically so she thinks I'm listening. But I think this is going to one day get me in trouble. So how do I deal with this? Is there a polite way of preventing phone conversations from dragging on too long? I figure 10-15 minutes a day is more than enough time. . . anything else, people should just say in person. What do you guys think? Am I out of line here? Should I just suck it up and listen, no matter how much I don't want to? |
^-- God bless the carribean then, lol. Maybe I've not been looking in the right spots, but usually in a group of four girls, one of 'em will be attractive. . . other three will be fugly and suspicious. . . then you have to find a way to distract the others so you can work on the hot girl ![]() |
fstranger3: ![]() I saw that too. Andre-Uweh logged out, abadaba logs in. Dr Jekkyl and Mr Hyde, I guess ![]() |
^--- All four of those chicks in your profile are pretty hot. But who are the two chicks on the right? ![]() |
fstranger3:It is a bit sad. No wonder any time there is wahala Northerner wants to turn 'em into suya meat. As I've said earlier, arrogance is a terrible disease. And in a place like Nigeria, dangerous too |
Igbo can be brides Yoruba na kingmaker |
How did this thread become arguing back and forth about who is more in the north. Let's instead stop that and celebrate the wonderful Yoruba people ![]() |
jason123:I mean bias in the sense that since I'm Yoruba, I'll likely to interact more with Yoruba. That sort of bias will prevent you from truly assessing the demographics, if you are not careful. |
When I've visited Abuja too, I didn't get the impression that the southerners there were mostly Igbo. Then again, there might be a bit of selection bias. . . that El Rufai 70%+ landed properties thing, if true, suggests Igbo must be many there in Abuja |
fork addict. . . Mr Cork. . . I don't know who is funnier ![]() |
@Jarus: I'm not sure that the presidency alone is what matters this cycle. Capturing as many governors/senate/house spots also seems a pretty important task for the opposition parties. I'm not sure if Buhari and the CPC realize the importance of this, but the ACN certainly does. In fact. . . I'd go so far to say that the ACN's primary goal focus is not even the presidency, but instead laying the ground for bigger things in 2015 or 2019. Whether CPC or PDP wins, ACN is in a great position. And if it goes to two rounds, then the ACN is in an even superior position. |
India and Pakistan? Fellow 3rd world countries? What next, should I take pride in being better off than Afghanistan too? ![]() Why not measure against Brazil, South Africa, China, etc. |
^-- Exactly. If you want 100% derivation tomorrow, then you also want civil war tomorrow. |
Wouldn't have developed as quickly. More trade and interaction with the world=faster development |
Sai ACN |
I dunno about the golden bride stuff. I'd prefer the term "kingmaker". . . sounds less effeminate ![]() Anyway, I think the key thing is that the ACN has built a strong political base, and is poised to greatly increase it this election cycle (Akwa Ibom, Benue, Kwara, Oyo, Ogun are all possibilities.) When you have a political base, you can negotiate on your own terms and win concessions. But if you just join the mainstream party, they can use and abuse you anyhow. It didn't come cheaply, btw. The damage of OBJ starving Lagos of funds was probably very significant. But sometimes you have to make sacrifices and take a principled stand to build something greater. |
Exercise, dieting, liposuction? Or you could get fat too so you match ![]() |
Mr Cork. . . very funny guy ![]() |
generally speaking, level of education is inversely proportional to number of children had. meaning a less educated woman is likely to have more children than an educated one. as for problems in future- na bigger pool of available wives nah.
Bigger pool of almajiris, suicide bombers, radicals, etc. More mouths to feed. Etc, etc. More votes to screw over southern Nigeria politically |
Thanks to : > 9 children per male celebrity. > 6 is the new 1. . . . 6 is the lucky number for children making. > Polygamous marriage > No money for condom/ birth control pills > No money for abortion -==> let's just say money plays a role. The poorest nations usually has the largest fertility rate. etc etc
The fertility rate in the NW and NE are really high though. 7.3 in the NW versus 5.7 nationally. Only 4.5 in the SW. That is going to create a lot of problems in the future . . . Federal Republic of Hausaland ![]() |
fstranger3:I don't want Kwara subdivided. . . for somewhat selfish reasons ![]() But hopefully it can be better managed instead. Less Sarakis, more ACN fellows |
rofl @ LesbianBoy's signature and location |
fstranger: Have you looked at this health survey before, btw? It seems that the fertility rate of Nigeria is sky-high. A bit scary. . . ![]() |
^-- How do you get that contract when you must compete with the Tony Anenih's of the world, who will frustrate you from getting it on merit? ![]() |
