adeyemi2015:Thank you sir. Looking forward to that. |
MrLouisVanGaal:Lol. I did these things at local level. I most times think if I had been discovered and encouraged I could have done same at national or International level. But you never know sha. Life is luck. Etim Esin with all his skills ended abruptly. I have people who I was far better than that went a little far. The difference was that they were not so sound academically, so they put all their hope on football. They were a bit younger too, so when scout started coming to our base, I was already in the University. Although there were also older ones who played in Premier League in Nigeria, they didn't pursue education. One won an FA with Berger as a regular player. |
chidexxy007:Lol. So even if we bought Lewandowski, he would be waiting for a good ball that hardly comes. |
adeyemi2015:Are you Gaal's scout? I have great right foot but somewhat weak left foot. I hate to play permanently in the wings. I can run there from the middle. Behind the striker is my best, I could play on top or even number 4. I am a great goalscorer. My right leg is as solid in shooting as Rivaldo's left foot. I can light a wicked and accurate shot from beyond 35 yards as Yaya Toure sometimes does. I can dribble as Hazard does minusing men on my way. I am very clever and composed in scoring from close range. Practicing in a regular field but using a hand ball goalposts made me to develop these skills. My left leg is as weak as Van Persie right foot. I still score with it but cannot light any shot. I can guide and aid dribbling it. So left wing. No no. But even at my age, I am better than Romero anywhere in the outfield. So only £25m. |
adeyemi2015:Pounds na. Na naira dem take dey pay Rooney? |
nyabinghi:Romero to play? Please I am here. I can represent. I am a sharp shooter with accurate shots and good sense of luring goalkeeper away to slot in. Only 25k per week is what I ask for. |
nyabinghi:He and Rooney were reported back to training. It looks like the club has decided to allow all the injured players full recovery instead of return today gone tomorrow. Perhaps their return dates were extended. |
nyabinghi:Herrera? Someone in the treatment room? |
AdeLaNa1:I beg o. May be he can win the EPL. |
Oliviaarims:Good report. So sad! |
chidexxy007:One versatile experienced defender like we used to have Oshea. One striker - Vardy One pacing attacking player - Mane. Vardy and Mane would gladly accept squad role when better players eventually come. |
Last weekend I was streaming our match, I saw us doing a very great counter, we outnumbered the opposition. Then I got distracted because I was in an event. When I came back in 2 minutes, score stood still at 0-0. ![]() |
sinizia:I enjoy them a lot these days. Pure attacking football, swift movement. Counter attack. Since Di Maria left we have been unable to complete one counter attack. |
sinizia:Download our match highlights during SAF era to console yourself. |
“Consistency is everything in football. You get games, you feel better,” he said. “You enjoy it more and your fitness is better. When you’ve not played for a long time it’s very hard for the player. “When Van Gaal arrived I could see I wasn’t in the plan. When you’re a player you can feel it, you can see that. “To be honest I didn’t really enjoy playing when Van Gaal was there. “I like to enjoy myself, to try things and do stuff. Last year I wasn’t doing that. “The 10 games I played I thought I played very well apart from Leicester [a 5-3 away defeat]. It’s hard to know. “I had some choices to go in England, but in the end I wanted to try something different. It’s good to challenge yourself.” Rafael admits he understands why Red Devils fans are calling for a more adventurous style than the possession based strategy Van Gaal currently uses. “Everyone is different. Results matter so if they can win the league it will be a different story. “I watch them play and I’ve heard some things as well... But it’s hard. Football is for the fans. They want to see good football.” |
adeyemi2015:Play only these young stars from now till May. What you will get is 10th-12th position. They will play some matches very fine, but it's always going to be nearly, nearly nearly in 60% of the time. That's we would say we missed chances and we nearly won. You need to look at the history of our line ups. The difference between our game against Arsenal and Everton was three players in strategic positions. Jones came in and paired Smalling. Rojo came to the left back. So we had three solid players at the back. Herrera came into the attack. That's a player who doesn't only distribute but can stop the opposition from starting an attack. |
McNair tried Las season playing as a RCB. Why not develope him there? He should have partnered Smalling in the last two games. Blind should have been on the left back and Darmian on the right. |
Dadehmola:I don't usually like sack hire, sack hire. But this man is losing it. He should try to correct the squad a little by buying 3 experienced players in January so that the squad can be bigger incase of injuries. |
If we had 70% of our injured players, we could hope of winning the league. We played some good football against CSKA and West Brom. About three matches in a row and in each we could have massacre our oppositions. Chances were many and we reduced our opponents to virtually zero threats. All of a sudden, injuries got worse. Gaal also sometimes unnecessarily change a winning team. |
adeyemi2015:We were winning when we had Valencia, Jones, Rojo and Herrera all fit together. |
StOla:Brent Crude is currently $39/barrel. As at yesterday. |
adeyemi2015:I was about posting this. This is not expected of LVG. He just grouped us together with the rest of EPL teams in terms of capability. What he is saying is that we are no longer special. If we have almost same capability with other teams in EPL, what about Europe? Dadehmola, SailorXY, BinghiNya, AdeLaNa1, RuuDie |
SailorXY:I think Scherdeline and Carrick should change positions in your line up. The person playing DM in 4-1-4-1 should be able to distribute well. Many back passes will be going to him to reset the attack or change attacking direction. |
chrisley024:As at when United beat Brugges, they were stronger than PSV because they both competed in Europa with Brugges going as far as quarter final while PSV lost in group stage. A long the line their oppositions criss crossed and Brugges did strongly. Brugges went into UCL qualifying series and did superb well until we met them. At the time they had not lost any home game in ten European matches, winning their last match three nil. |
AdeLaNa1:You are going round circles meaninglessly. We gifted PSV with our long injuries. Chikena. You may also say PSV is better than Manchester United. |
elrony:He tried that day. But can he cope with all the Agbegi EPL players? Remember all the aerial threats too. McNair is going to be the only one heading away crosses. May be for this reason, Fellaini will start. |
weedtaker:Our players were not injured against Brugges. Luke Shaw alone dealt with them in the first leg with all his runs all over the field. |
AdeLaNa1:This doesn't make sense except if you want to make us believe PSV is now greater than Manchester United. As at when United beat Brugges, they were performing stronger than PSV in Europe. United gifted PSV 4 points, that's why they qualified. |
weedtaker:Young is a poor LB but a good RB. |
We dey for inside hot pot of soup. Our first eleven is out. |
INJURY UPDATE BEFORE BOURNEMOUTH TEST 11/12/2015 11:12 Louis van Gaal has told MUTV that no fewer than nine players are unavailable for selection ahead of Manchester United’s Barclays Premier League match at Bournemouth on Saturday. Bastian Schweinsteiger is suspended for three games now the FA has charged him with violent conduct after the German was involved in an incident with Winston Reid during last weekend’s West Ham game. Matteo Darmian suffered a hamstring injury during the first half of Tuesday’s Champions League defeat at Wolfsburg and the Italian defender was substituted before half-time. Chris Smalling also picked up a groin injury in Germany but the defender gallantly played on until the final whistle. Marcos Rojo and Antonio Valencia remain sidelined after undergoing recent surgeries on shoulder and foot injuries. Phil Jones, Ander Herrera, Wayne Rooney and Luke Shaw are also unavailable – although the positive news is that Morgan Schneiderlin is returning to fitness following his hip problem. During his MUTV interview at the Aon Training Complex, van Gaal provided a full update on United's injuries: "It is not so good. We have eight injured players because Darmian and also Smalling we can add to this list, and Schweinsteiger is also suspended, so it's nine players who are not able to play. "Schneiderlin is coming back, that’s not a problem, but we have a list of eight players injured and Rojo has been operated on this week and it takes a long time. These injuries are very heavy – Shaw and Valencia have also been operated on and that’s our problem." On the busy festive schedule, the manager continued: "It is not beneficial for us because we have a heavy programme but I believe that Smalling, Herrera and Darmian are coming back before Christmas." Following the 3-2 defeat at Wolfsburg and United's subsequent exit from the Champions League, van Gaal admitted his job this week has been to lift the players' spirits. "I try to but, of course, the players have to do that also by themselves, they are also the professionals," he told MUTV . "They need to use their tools to lift them up and we have a lot to fight for, I think. So we are very close in the Premier League to the top. We can fight for the FA Cup and fight also for the Europa League, so I think we have enough to fight for." MUTV's full interview with van Gaal will be shown in Countdown To Kick-off at 18:30 GMT today (Friday). www.manutd.com/en/News-And-Features/Football-News/2015/Dec/Team-news-Louis-van-Gaal-provides-injury-update-before-Bournemouth-match.aspx?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=post&utm_campaign=ManUtd |
AdeLaNa1:How can United be left out of the equation? In your logic PSV is a greater team than United. Bilbao is a greater team than United. Basel is a greater team than United. We could even expand it to many other small teams who are currently doing well in Europe than big European clubs like AC Milan, Inter Milan, Porto etc. Reason well. |
