Scripture throws light on scripture.

Levites ordained by God to be priests in Israel were not required to be celibate by the Old Testament ceremonial law.

This is no argument. You directed me to scripture and I did same to explain my position.

Bible's position is very clear: Celebacy is not imposed on men to serve God even as priest. (Incidentally, under the New Testament every child of God = Christian, is a priest indeed:

1 Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous lightsmiley

Have a great day!
Mathew 19 clearly says some will be celibate for the sake of the Kingdom. The rest of your post is vague and largely irrelevant

Anyone who has chosen to be celibate because of the Kingdom, so be it. No one is forced. There are many vocations and work. Only those interested enter Priesthood, moreover everyone is given 9 years of training to decide.

FG Proposes N6tn Budget for 2016, Pegs Oil Benchmark at $38

08 Dec 2015
*Retains exchange rate at N198/$1, remains mute on subsidy removal

The Federal Executive Council (FEC) met for the first time monday since its inauguration three weeks ago, during which it approved the Medium Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF) and Fiscal Strategy Paper (FSP) for 2016 to 2018 and proposed a N6 trillion budget for 2016.
Briefing State House correspondents after the council meeting, which was convened solely to consider the MTEF/FSP and lasted for over four hours, the Minister of Budget and National Planning, Senator Udoma Udo Udoma, said the MTEF/FSP that was approved would provide the fiscal policy direction of the government in the next three years.
He added that the council, in the proposal, pegged the oil benchmark for the 2016 budget at $38 per barrel, a peg, he said was considered conservative and sustainable.

The minister said that the council also projected crude oil production of 2.2 million barrels per day (mbpd) for next year’s budget.
According to him, the 2016 budget proposal, which is about a trillion naira above the 2015 budget, was an expansionist projection with the aim of increasing infrastructure spending to 30 per cent from its current 15 per cent.
He added that the MTEF/FSP would be forwarded to the National Assembly for consideration and passage while the executive continues to work on the 2016 budget proposal to be submitted to the lawmakers at a later date.
Asked how the government intends to fund the budget in the face of dwindling oil prices and the attendant decline in revenue, Udoma said the administration would expand its earnings from non-oil revenue sources and reduce recurrent expenditure.

He said: “We will get the funding from two sources: we are looking at trying to increase our non-oil revenue; we are looking at trying to get more money from the various government agencies, policing their collection and trying to get more money from them.
“We will also look at keeping down our recurrent budget.

That means we are looking at savings that we can make from overheads. We will look at the efficiencies from our revenue collecting agencies like the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), in terms of company income tax, in terms of Value Added Tax (VAT), and then the difference, we will have to borrow.
“But the level of borrowing that we anticipate and we are projecting will be well within the maximum that we allow, which is 3 per cent of GDP, because we want a prudent budget, we want a credible budget, so we are working on that now.”
On whether the government has plans to cut workers’ salaries, Udoma said pay cuts were not in the cards, adding that wages would be paid as and when due.
He however hinted that the government was expecting to make savings from the Integrated Personnel and Payroll Information Systems (IPPIS) that is currently in use for disbursement of staff salaries.
While maintaining that the present exchange rate given by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) was maintained in the MTEF, the minister said the council was yet to decide on whether or not to retain fuel subsidies.

Thanks!

Jesus only INFORMED His hearers how people become 'eunuchs'. Inborn, forced castration e.g. of slaves by slave owners and by PERSONAL CHOICE to serve God NOT AS AN ORGANISATIONAL / INSTITUTIONAL REQUIREMENT to serve God.

Did Jesus impose celebacy on His 12 Apostles?
Peter was married, apparently Paul wasn't; and it wasn't Jesus that told Paul to do so. It was Paul's choice!

Lastly read this: 1 Timothy 4:1 - 3

NOW THE SPIRIT SPEAK SPEAKETH EXPRESSLY, THAT IN THE LATTER TIMES SOME SHALL DEPART FROM THE FAITH, GIVING HEAD to SEDUCING SPIRITS, and DOCTRINES of DEVILS;

SPEAKING LIES in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

FORBIDDING TO MARRY, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.

This has already been fulfilled.

Mathew 19 clearly said some will be celibate for the sake of the kingdom. It's clear and straight forward.

I haven't time for argument.

this one is a catholic priest who took the oath of celibacy for life
why do they deceive themselves when they know that they have urge for sex that they cannot contain?
the Holy Bible is not against marriage, where did these catholics get their celibate doctrine from?
these catholic priests pretend to the world that they are celibate but do have sexual affairs with others
hypocrites!
Celibate doctrine is in Mathew 19.

This man might not even be a Catholic priest, because priests are called Fathers, not brothers

Celibacy is in the bible. Mathew 19.

However, this man is not a Reverend Fr. The article says he's a brother. So he's not a priest.

i think i know a little bit of bank loans and which i stand to be corrected that before a loan is granted to any individual, their must be a collateral and it should be done through the right channels and if the customer is not able to meet up he or she will loss the collateral that was initial tendered so why should it be the banker headache like i said i stand to be corrected.
If you give loan based on only collateral, how many customers will be able to get loan from the bank? For instance, how many people have C of O?

Moreover, not all loans require collateral to be granted. Some are overdraft, some are given based on turnover on the account. Some are Assets finance, some are tied to salaries.

Remember there is a competition among banks on how much profit declared at the end of the year. So there will always be a drive to give loans. This is done in most banks by giving targets to the marketers on how much loans to grant in a financial year. Just as there are targets for deposits, there are targets for loans.

wat was his motives? to me, that should have been the question he has nothing to gain by inviting the man to EFCC according to the details he never stole from the bank or from the public.
There are targets to recover bad loans from customers. Some banks suspend or even sack their staff if they cannot recover loans. Perhaps he has exhausted all means to recover the bad loan from this particular costumer, then he decided to pose as an EFCC officer.

Some customers are really wicked. They beg for loans on their knees, but refused to pay back when due, or even refused outrightly putting the banker in serious trouble.

Look at the way you are praising Dortmond, one season UCL fluke. Abeg make I hear word. They were totally outclassed yesterday. They have energy and run and run like our Fletcher does but such football has its limit as we saw yesterday. Let me see that consistency for 3 years, then I will begin to think their kind of football is the answer. I remember the Greek team than won the EUFA cup, they were like Dortmund with lots of speed and energy but it can only go to the level to when others realised they are a threat, then they wither.

Martinez, what a guy with dirty jobs. He is a destroyer and a confident player. I hardly watch Bundislega so I have no interest in what these guys do. When I watch on Friday night I get tired 'cos of day's work and I doubt if I have ever watch a match their for 90 min. But yesterday, Martinez is a kind of player that will solve our marking problems. Man United gives so much room for opponents to use us in our area, we need those dirty guys who play like Makalele. Anderson used to be a prospect.

My response to montelik post above.

Dadehmola, here I criticized all-energy football. Let's say I criticized pace and power (when it's too much in a team)

I was really impressed with Gundogan and Subotic for Dortmund yesterday (Hummels has quality but lacks leadership at times). Bender did okay but he got lost too easily for my liking. Gundogan is the perfect profile of what we need in our midfield. Good technique, composure under pressure at high speed and tight spaces, lots of mobility and energy when Dortmund have possession. To go with solid work ethic, good tackling, covering, strength and discipline when Dortmund don't have possession. He shows you don't have to be built like Yaya Toure or slow the game down like the Busquets to be effective playing from deeper in midfield.

Even if Martinez was available, I wouldn't sign him unless he would be replacing Carrick. He is a world class defensive midfielder, not a central one and would be wasted playing there. He reminds of Ivan Helguera, in that he is supremely gifted dm/cb with bags of ability.
Someone had the above to say after I suggested Martinez.

I brought it in because you were feeling like one soothsayer who has an impressive foresight of things.

I ask again - the Paulinho you clamoured for...how is he faring in China nowadays??
Was it only Paulinho I clamored for that period? Paulinho was among the last, if not the last. The first midfielder I said I liked was Martinez, and I was told that Bayern bought him for a fortune. So I chilled.

As for Paulinho in China, he's still young. He can go back to Europe. At least for now he's in the top team in China and playing well.

Again I am a great analyst. Most of the things I say work out. If you like call it soothsaying.

When death penalty is for anything armed-robbery I share no sympathy as such. Whoever carried a gun to face his fellow citizen/human being has already chosen death for himself already.

I would be more sympathetic to a guy who stole (without arms) 100k and got two years in jail than one who used arms to rob 100 naira and get a death sentence.

OK.

That Brazil midfield in the Confab was very good. I didn't monitor their roles properly but the way dismantled everything that came their way including Spain, was magnificent. I think William was also in that team. They made every opposition look ordinary. Neymar was master class, reduced Pique and Ramos to Dundee United players.
