No. I think you have forgotten so soon. The chart below shows Iniester and Pedro were only utilized as AM..... They didn't play as CM. The DM/CM were Busquet, Song, Fabregas, Xavi.

Fabregas started 30 league matches in 2012/13. He started only 7 league matches in 2013/14.

It's not true. SAF told the whole world inside Old Trafford that Rooney requested for a transfer but he will not be allowed to go.

The Madrid incidence was a one off. Rooney protested his position in the first leg by his body language, then SAF got Giggs into the team for some defensive duties as well as Welbeck tracking back. I see that as a quiet war between Rooney and SAF. Rooney didn't want to sacrifice for Kagawa, he didnt mind such those days. united genuinely wanted to reinforce the team then moyes couldn't make his mind up. by the time he did, the players weren't interested in playing for a manager that hasn't won a spoon in football. he quickly went for fellaini - the same fellaini that was available at a cheaper price if moyes had gone for him earlier.

Neymar forced Iniester back to his natural position and that was the end of Fab`s adventure in Barca.

The coming season will be better for us for sure. The major area of weakness has been strengthened enough. The midfield.

The next is the defence, although our defenders are a year order and played regularly last season. The maturity is coming.

Coogar, Moyes wasn't the problem on Fabregas quest. Fabregas felt he still had a future in Barcelona. And the team reassured him. Remember Fab was quiet throughout while his team kept reteirating he was not for sale. Similar to Mourinho 's attempt to sign Rooney. The problem for Mourinho was not really Rooney, but the club desire to keep him at Old Trafford.

Fab returned to England when it was obvious he didn't have any future in Barca.

He's partially at fault, but the main blame is on LvG, who wanted to analyze wackos like Evans during the pre-season of then to know if he could work with them, but before he realized his folly, twas too late. We ended up paying a bit too much for every player. if he was astute and fast like now, he'd have pulled off signings like the ones he's doing now.

Evans was a winning defender two years before. He has played big games even in UCL. I think Gaal was right to have assessed first.

He was wise. He wanted the right players or nothing. Thank God they didnt just buy for buying sake. Otherwise we wouldnt have money to buy the right ones now.

I am sure many people will agree with me that one thing Moyes got right was seeking quality players. He bought Mata. He missed Fabregas but he made a statement with it.

If we play 4-3-3, Chicharito will be the last choice - 4th choice. If we play a lone striker, he will have many games. He is a box specialist.

I am excited. However, I am waiting for the season to kick off first before expressing my excitement in full. Memories of last season are still fresh in my mind.

I announced every of our transfers on facebook with heavily loud speakers. Falcao's signing sent shivering waves down the spine of my readers. When the bad results started coming from the Leicester game, I got mocked by Chelsea fans weekend after weekend. I got some powers to fight back towards the end of the season.

I am also not too happy with the way some of the old guys got their stay at United come to an abrupt end.

Sterling is very good. His only problem is his final balls. If he has a good striker to play with, you will barely notice this weakness.

When Sturridge became fit last season, he and Sterling were beasting games until Sturridge fell again to injury and Sterling became Pius Ikedia. Worse than Ikedia sef, cos Sterling could miss an empty net after beating a defender and the goalkeeper.

In the qualifier, he plays well with Rooney for the three lions. Now he is going to play with Aguero. And he is just 21.

This same Woodward people insulted here as a clueless man when he signed only Fellaini two years ago.

Opponents dont mind parking the bus and leaving just three front men to roam in our midfielder hoping to jump win and ball down and pace like Usain Bolt to DDG. Players like Benteke, Agbonlahor, etc. Those Leicester guys that look like tall weight lifters with pace to match. Even some short players sef with speed, I have forgotten the name of the guy in West Brom.

But sha.... I wished some old guys from SAF era were still very good so that the change would be gradual. The new names come with a lot of excitement but it's not easy having too many old faces gone at same time.

Wished Anderson progressed his ability and grew into a world class. Wished Nani maintained his form of 2009/10 and 2010/11. In 2008 I thought Anderson will be the future commando of Brazil midfield. Nani, how much I liked him. Everything vanished like a dream.

Evans, Rafael and RVP will soon be gone. DDG 's case not over until Sept 1st. You look at the team, everything is new, suddenly.

Gaal confirmed newspaper reports that the Torino
defender's signing was imminent.
