Why're you this suspicious, you sound like my girlfriend grin grin

Aiite, to satisfy your curiosity, we were talking on Yahoo about who dissed who first in the M9 beef.
I mentioned 'You' and he said he wants it.
The usual people, Tosin, Lala and Ofoka don't have it, even Javalove doesn't have it.

Rhymestein is my niggi . . . forget all the disses on NL.

How is it Shady?? I'm sending him 'YOU' off the old mixtape Nigel Ben's Kraftwork.
Apparently I'm the only NLer that still has the mixtape.

I just don't want to shout it out before all the Modenine fans start mailing me for more songs.
And evidently, the whole purpose is defeated. cheesy cheesy

Is there a way we can go P2P or smn??
Rap Battles › Re: Ruggedman's Message To You Know Who by eldee(m): 4:29pm On Mar 11, 2010
Ruggedman just doesn't know when to shut up.
It's obvious that battling brings out the best in Modenine. . . any clever opponent will know that.

I used to think he was smart, but now all he's done is raise dust for Deathblow II.

Hiphop beef is a game of chess-boxing . . . if you're not brash at battle-rapping, play the chess part and make sure you're better.
Didn't he learn from Nas V Jay-Z??

Anyways, looking forward to Deathblow II . . . that'll be the best hiphop track this year.

@DBR

I think he's on the same level as J.Cole . . . bt J.Cole is just one lucky bastard.
The difference is, J.Cole will improve under Jay-Z's tutelage.
I really don't know why he never got the online buzz that helped to sell J.Cole, Wale and Drake to the CEOs.

I have his Live, Love Learn mixtape . . . Absolute Perfection should be sent to all emcees to learn how to drop bars on a good beat.
The guy's 'lyrically abusive' . . .  I never knew his album was coming out this year.

I like how you handled Ofoka . . . it took me a whole year to learn how to use the 'ignore' button on NL. grin grin

@Rhymestein
That's exactly what makes J. Cole good.
He can serve both ends of the population. . . people that don't pay attention miss the punchlines but love his delivery and musical genius.

J.Cole - Lights Please

FL Gators:
rotflmao, you're hilarious grin grin grin

So true, let him say in Lagos. . . . but you know that ppl will still critize him because he's talking about "What he doesnt know since he didnt even grow up in Nigeria".

I think the reason why I fell in love with Wale is because he's Yoruba and he doesnt sound like the typical Nigerian rapper, and well, his lines are strong sometimes grin grin
I totally agree with you . . . it might be too difficult a risk to take.

Did you like Waving Flag??

FL Gators:
Yea, the dude is soo fresh. . . . its like he doesnt see any rappers.
He raps about what he wants, sees, and thinks.
I admit, compared to him Wale is like the other typical rapper. Always talking about "Haters" lol

Did you listen to BLUES FOR THE HORN?
That's the problem . . . I wanted Wale to sound like he's in a different world of his own.
I saw DBR's verse about the Niger Delta and I knew how rich Nigeria is in stories and events.
If Wale stayed in Lagos for a week, his whole persona will change.

Rappers are so predictable these days, first album is about 'I'm hustling', second album is 'now I'm rich, they hate me' . . . then third album they run out of stories.
I don't get the whole thing about ''haters'' . . . even my sixteen year old sister thinks she has haters . . . grin grin

FL Gators:
Ohh thanks. You know I really appreciate.
Nah it's aiite. wink wink

Knaan Troubador

I'm starting to really like this Knaan dude sef cheesy
I'm attaching The Warm Up. . . I don't think it's as good as The Come Up though.
But it's got Lights Please. . . so it's still top drawer.

I think he's the most talented rapper we've ever seen from Africa.
He doesn't struggle with punchlines and wordplay, he just tells us what he sees.
That's what's good about him.

U sinkin faster than u realise.
Music section, yea, but the topic is FAVORITE LINES!
And your ref is line directed at sm1! We didnt start out discusin a song but favorite linez.

No refr. to any 1st or 2nd or 3rd verse, ma guy

And Here is your 2nd Post:Still refering to what u posted 1st.
U broke the line of tot, it's obvious by the paragraph u introduced b4 u started talkin bout'
what's d beef wit SK sef. Its so obvious even to stevie wonder that this paragraph is an aside.
This is the 1st time u makin ref to a whole track.
But this is a FAVORITE LINE TOPIC and the lines u posted are wat is under debate.
'was those lines u said or insinuated was directed at M.i and i pointed out its awfully flawed!!

Any other thing u sayin is loada crap and BS, not relevant to wat u posted!
If i leave the straw u say im clutchin~ u'l drown,
cos im on the deck holdin it tryna pull u out n rescue u.
Still want me to let it go?
i think not.

I like the way you go dismissive when it comes to parts where I drop conclusive arguments.
Well done . . .it's quite a useful move, beats clutching straws.

You can argue from now till next year about what and what should be done on what topic.
But the overriding fact is, it is the music section.
Arrest me for disobeying the rules and regulations that guard this thread, sue me for inciting people to go off-topic, the fact still remains, it is the music section.

It is irrelevant to the Favourite Rap Lines topic?? That's you argument??
I'm dissappointed. . . if it's not clear already, you just emphasized the fact that, like Ruggedman,  you have 'nothing to say'.

You don't need to release the straws, they've passed their elastic limits already. tongue tongue tongue
