obinna5000:I know, I meant 3D made those bullet dodging/stopping moves look extremely cool in Resident Evil 3D . . . it had major 3D moments unlike Clash of The Titans. |
Can I reduce the rating I gave it, I just had a flashback of the Arnold scene and I demand my old ratings back. |
JeSoul:You mean the same one someone on Metacritic described as the 'brain-dead male equivalent of Sex And The City 2'?? The only reason anyone to watch the movie was the cast, and we all went into a rage when we didn't see Arnold's pot belly. ![]() Mindless action is an insult to the viewers, just like modern low budget chic flicks. We'll give y'all time to catch up with this generation, you're stuck in the 80s. ![]() No one was actually acting, even the Jack Bauer moves seemed fake, everything was just an embarrassment, I got in for free cus my friend works at Vue, but I made her buy me dinner after the moovie for the kind of punishment she let me go through. ![]() |
@Spiral Abeg you're moving to the B.S lane right now . . . on lyrical skill Vector destroyed Ice Prince on Oleku no queston bout that. On delivery, it's subjective. If you don't think Vector was lyrically better after I translated the Yoruba lines, then it's either you're Audu or you don't know whatchu saying. |
@Spiralex You don't undertand Vector . . . simple as that, I'll try to help. Everything on Vector's Oleku was about flossing, bout his lyrical skills, his ability to destroy a beat, his money and his girls. I'm A-list now, so I cannot B U Oye mi to depo CU (I'm a chief now, while u're there watching) I'm rich enough to have fun, notes in the bank remind me of cancer (cancer cells multiply) Flow fit the ear like jewellry?? (ear rings) My pro ish is here no juvee (Juvenile/professional) It's V.E.C, yes sir turn the party to a indecency movie Vector the riper, the cypher is hyper His flow so smart enlighten them night long Groove take off, when the boy take off the head like a freestyle (off the head fluting/freestlyle . . .the indecency party don't start till he gets head, damn ) Ain't done yet, next to effing the beat but I won't come yet (It's still a indecency party but he's having sex with the beat and he won't come . . . beauty in simplicity) This right here make the girls blow me like a trumpet. See me blow, easy flow no wahala Spice it up for them girls at the party make you hala I'm a big deal tho so she feeling the toy (dildo/toy) I do pretty hot girls all this wanking boys be feeling the joy (wanking/feeling joystick??) Oleku die on aggro I contain the goods like a cargo Lately I've been crazy with the beat sotay won wa mi l'Aro (crazy/Aro Mental Hospital) Oleku . . . if you wanna take my shine, then o le ku (I'm strong, if you want take my shine then go and die, R.I.P Dagrin with his Yoruba double entendre) There's no Ife like O.A.U (ife = Love and Ife town) Come on, he used sex to theme the whole song and you say he's not poetic?? And the fact that he easily changed the flow twice. . . even Jay-Z would be proud of him. |
poweredcom:If he's singing, doesn't that just mean he's a rapper when he raps and a singer when he sings?? |
Aqva:So what if Kanye and Snoop are singing, aren't there other rappers?? Aqva:All these have been there since the days of Pac. . . was rap dead then?? Aqva:If you want to learn, go to school . . . if you want messages, gimme your number, I'll SMS you. Aqva:J.Cole, Slaughterhouse, Pill, Lupe Fiasco . . . do you want me to continue?? |
@Bamsyle You call Vector 'happy-go-lucky'?? Go listen to Mary Jane. He doesn't need to rhyme, it's pun-flossing, he drops them in couplets, it's a delivery style that's accepted. You're making it sound like it's a flaw when you don't rhyme through the verse with one oral sound like Em. . . great songs like Made you Look were made like that. Lyrics?? And again I point out Mary Jane where he used a woman to describe spliff. Also . . .he's not the first person to flow out of beat . . . Nas did it on half his songs like that, that was his best skill. I once posted an interview where Hov said he had to learn how to rap off the beat, utilizing that space between the sounds. You're making it sound like it's a flaw when you don't rhyme through the verse with one oral sound like Em. . . great songs like Made you Look were made like that. I know you're supporting him but I just don't like the tone, it has a hint of the 'erm . . . Paris can't sing but she's hott' feel to it. Apologise before Tosin finds this. ![]() |
SpiralEx:AHHHHH!!! Even right from the beginning of the song he was Naijapunning . . . Mic check one 2-baba . . . And them no go reach peak if they try to make tea (mai-shai) Won wa me, that is a Star Quest I got a car sir, why will a startrek Dangote chiefs, see the lau lau Shout out to the old players lua lua Who else links 'old players' to Benjani Lua Lua and then to Marvelous Benjy . . . come on. Why do Nairalanders have a problem with being Nigerian?? |
pro01:Oh . . . you don't think the term 'punitive' expedition weighs less compared to the words 'murder' and 'bloodbath' which aptly describe what they did to the Bini people?? Justifiable?? WOW!!! You call refusing to sign a mock treaty that was going to make Benin a British Colony a justifiable reason for murder?? |
uzoegbu:'She give me good head, I call it sucksex I treat her like a witch, make her cumfess' ![]() |
BTW . . . anyone that wishes to counter my view should better come armed abeg. I'm not going to mention any names ![]() |
@Debosky Do you agree with me when I say Arsenal has the best squad in the league?? Apart from say probably Spurs?? If we solved our defensive problems, we'd have been sure of this years league. Back then we were complaining about how thing the squad was, but back then there was no 25-man rule and the players were still way too young. Right now Wilshere is an EPL level player . . . infact our bench is way better than Chelsea and Man Utd. I don't really see the need for him to change much, prolly just address the GK situation and end of. |
vescucci:Come on man . . . the matrix moves looked better with the 3D. |
'Naheemdeen Ekemode, the medical doctor who examined the girls, said he used his expertise as a gynaecologist to ascertain that the ladies were virgins. “I am trained as a gynaecologist to be able to examine a lady without defiling her and know that her hymen is intact,” he said.' Hehe . . . I get it, he sticks it in and asks, 'e dey pain you??' Abeg who knows where I can apply for the role of assistant virginity tester?? ![]() |
nope, that is because clichy is the weakest link. valencia was fit but fergie left him on the bench, fergie then moved nani to the right to torment clichy. what zonal-marking is also trying to prove is van der sar's distribution also targeted clichy.
I wouldn't know, but I'm sure of the fact that Nani always gets the ball from VDS. Nani's the soul of United going forward so it's expected. |
he's been the weakest link all year according to zonalmarking: http://www.zonalmarking.net/2010/02/02/did-manchester-united-deliberately-target-gael-clichy/
Come on . . . that's simply because Nani is their best offensive player. |
Ema prince:Send it to nairalandwarcraft@yahoo.com |
Expendables The fact that anyone went to see that movie is proof that the Summer was really crap for movies. Last time I saw acting that crappy was in Beyonce Versus Shakira, a Nollywood movie. . . mindless action does not belong to this generation, people need to understand this. We've grown past, 'hey I'm the good guy, you're the bad guy . . . I'ma kill you' . . . plot is crappy too. So there was the grand entrance for the Cali Guv and poof, that's it . . . abeg this movie was wack. 30% |
I remember vaguely the case of the Bible at the Alake's palace. It was about 100 years old and a gift from Queen Victoria, the Brits wanted it back and I think they sent a replacement or sumn, I can't remember the facts of that case. |
ElRazur:Thats the thing . . . what we're left with is the court of public opinion, the one that tried Gordon Brown in th Al Megrahi case, if the Nigerian Goverment steps up and gets it into the papers, I'll be satisfied. There's prolly precedent for that somewhere. |
@Elrazur Come on, yo know what's more annoying, this thing has been in one man's house for a century. Like, it wasn't owned by the British Government or the British Museum, it's going to some stuck-up upper class landowners and their trustfund babies. I think I'd rather have it burnt. . . maybe it's just emotions talking. In my own opinion though, the Museums in Nigeria should be privatized, then people who make money off it will be force to do things like TV ads and organize paid exhibitions, less likely for things to run down. |
Vieira:Hehehe . . . INEC ain't got nothing on you bruv. You forgot to add that Batman is human so he can catch malaria if the fight in Abule-egba. ![]() |
aguiyi:That should be our choice shouldn't it?? |
It's sad . . . notice how it's called the 'punitive expedition' . . . a gentler way to describe murder, massacre and robbery. It's no different from the terms 'the great crusade', 'scramble for Africa' and most recent the 'war against terrorism'. |
Olori Oko |
duduspace:My case rests. |
duduspace:Forget what you think as an Arsenal fan . . . do you think he has an £80mil valuation?? |
@Dudu Will you agree with me that Fabregas developed at an extraordinary pace?? |
My three bonus cutz . . . 1. Lalaboi - Benjamz Diss 2. All Stars - Nairaland's Finest 3. Ibime - Maestro |
@duduspace At 18 Rooney was one of the most important players in England . . . he was the soul of England at the Euros, did that mean he had £80mil potential?? Is Belgium bigger than England?? |
Y'all shouldn't worry if I take long to reply . . . I've got loads of work to do. @DBR TBH, no one cares bout whether you listen to Terry G for vibes or not, he's proven himself on the hiphop Messiah part, gave Nigerian hiphop a CPR. He's done whatever you need to consider him a good rapper, now he's doing what he needs to do to be an even better artiste, deal with it. |

mindless, senseless, double clutch, steroid-enhanced action is what we want and love. You berra ask sombodi.
