I see that these guys don't know what consultant means.
The don't know that the title 'consultant' is used even outside medical field.
The only consultant they know is all those consultant gynaecologist, consultant pediatrician etc and they think that any other health professional who becomes a consultant will take over their own role.
They don't know that everyone has his own specialty and that they can become consultant in their own field.

Which kain doctors be this wey no understand this simple thing sef?

Some of you just display your stupidity online and are so shameless about it. Do you know what it takes to graduate from pharmacy school or nursing school?? You think you are the only one that studies or writes exams?? Some of you would not survive the stress of studying all those courses!

And for your information, most people did not choose other healthcare courses because they couldn't gain admission into medicine but because those courses are what they love.

What sort of 3rd world reasoning is this

That is what their older colleagues (lecturers) tell them na...and they believe it ignorantly..

I expect them as people who are knowledgeable to at least do a Google search of the Jamb statistics to see how many people are applying for these courses directly.
Take UI for instance, in 2017 the following number applied for these courses.
Pharmacy 2,898
Nursing/Nursing Sceince 4,326
Medical Laboratory Science 1,537

And UNIBEN
Nursing/Nursing Sceince 5,200
Pharmacy 3,472

And these schools may only take about 100-150 students or less

So the number of people directly applying for nursing, Pharmacy or med lab is much and they have to take a few of them so this even leaves fewer chances for anyone who applied for medicine in the first place and wants to cross over because he did not make the cut-off.

They generally take a long time to charge...like about 3hours for a 2000mah capacity
