Fantastic. I would like to see those amazing images while flying at night across Awka. OP, please help us remind Gov Soludo to fix Uga - Atani - Ossamala road. Palliatives are not working. We know it is a federal road. Umahi is concentrating on other areas. Gov Soludo can have it fixed and then present the bill to the FG for repayment, as they usually do it nationwide. |
What a shame, how Wike has reduced politics and leadership to this despicable spectacle that we daily see. Aside from bringing his home state, Rivers state, to its lowest period, he’s attempting to bring the nation to ruination with his uncontrolled comments. He completely stinks of shamelessness, greed, power intoxication, recklessness and foolishness. Well, we must not forget the words “who the gods want to kill, they first make mad”. Even as renowned godfather of Lagos politics, Tinubu did not have to run mad to prove his political power in the state and the rest of the nation. Wike has lost respect completely from a lot of those who used to admire him. |
9jatriot:What a balabluish comment! Anyway, should we expect to hear from citizens who have been blinded by leaders with no records of how they became wealthy? |
The difference is clear. It is not by shouting. Notice that Obi did not even bother to mention the name of his father. He said “I owned a supermarket in the campus”. He was able to afford the cars that he was driving. All he claimed are verifiable. The other man said “my father was a general manager in so many companies”. How was his father able to hold multiple jobs in multiple companies? Or if it was not so, what was chasing his father from one company to the other? How was a general manager able to purchase a Mercedes car in those days for his son? If it were so, was his father driving a Rolls Royce? In those days, there was seven major brand of cars, namely; Mercedes, Rolls Royce, Range Rover, Peugeot, Volkswagen, BMW and Morris cars. The costliest of the lot were Rolls and Mercedes. They were meant for the elite and Wike’s father was not mentioned among the elite. How did he come about such humongous wealth? |
This life, pursue you passion, pursue your talent, pursue your dream and success awaits you. Thank you to this great man who brought joy to millions of homes worldwide. |
Wahala no dey. As she take vex burn the boy properties, make the boy take vex arrest am with police. That na wilful destruction of properties. Na jail she dey look so for front. No more boyfriend. No more “come and do me” for some years. Na woman like her go treat am inside prison. No time to waste! |
RealityKings1:If you read patiently and with clarity, you would not have asked this very ignorant question. |
Which rule says that marrying a girl with known parents equates with a good marriage or peaceful homes. Anyanwu should be ashamed of himself, Damagun and Wike. |
iwaeda:My dear, no be small. We have heard that several times this year already. They failed to use the usual words “marching orders”. Na so even Buhari gave “marching orders” throughout his tenure, while it was terrorists and herdsmen who were marching into the forests and taking over communities. After this you will hear marching orders or authorization again. I have asked what the military are paid to do. They complain of arms among others. Do they need to get marching orders to carry out the assignment that they applied to do? Or they never had “full authorization” before now? |
SirBunky85:Well, the said apology is supposed to be to the court. I wonder how some of you just comment without clear understanding. She was fined for “contempt of court” and not “contempt of the Senate”. Go back and read sir. |
oxygenlove:So easy to say. So simple, going by your words. So you do not know that just the threat alone has cost people their lives. Pray that you never encounter such evil people. Please everyone, avoid all those kabukabu as much as possible, if not completely. Avoid them. Never board kabukabu anywhere in the country, no matter the circumstance. That route between Oworo and Mike 2 is high risk. |
If Tinubu’s coalition with the same Atiku and Amaechi did not fail to unseat GEJ, why should this one fail? Why is this so painful to APC? Can people not agree to do things in common peacefully anymore. For three days now, no rest, no peace. Una scatter LP. Una scatter PDP. Still no peace of mind for una. |
Nazgul:Maybe you need to ask him how he achieved his success rather than doubt him. He is the farmer. He knows what he does. He knows his secret. Doubts like this always make many people fail to start off in life. |
ManirBK:When you talk about politicians who cannot win their wards, do not forget Festus Keyamo and Reno Omokri. They are APC people. When you talk about politicians who will win defeat baba go slow and Emi lo kan together, look for Mr. Peter Obi. Can you see how the mention of his name in ADC evokes fear in APC? |
seunmsg:Nothing pain you pass that ADC matter. Between Wike and Momodu, who has to tell Nigerians how he came about his stupendous wealth? Apart from “my father was GM to many companies”, how did he come about such wealth? He failed to answer that simple question. Who’s integrity must be questioned? Rather than hold thieving leaders accountable, you eulogize them, while they make living miserable for you. No be juju be that? |
Na like joke, like joke, ADC don take become the main opposition party. Suddenly LP and PDP are getting swept aside. APC is very jittery. OBI’s name sends shivers down the spines of the leaders of APC. The man called “no structure”, has suddenly become the talk of town, the toast of everyone, including APC leaders. The man they all trust and who will never fail to deliver. Aregbesola has become the toast of Osun state. They pushed him aside and he showed that there’s still something left in him. Now let’s see how it all plays out. |
If the King completes his prison term before Trump ends his tenure, he will be stripped of his US citizenship and deported to Nigeria. Such double tragedy. What a shame. |
Truths9ja:No be small cry. The man with no structure, has become the most feared in the political circles. Unfortunately for you, Obi commands more supporters nationwide than Atiku. Did you not see the way he was received at the unveiling? I hope say you no too cry o. |
Afamed:Well even zombie better pass BAT followers. By the way, what do the words “headless mob” mean? Do you understand those English words at all? Abi you just copy and paste? |
JASONjnr:Please tell me the mentality you referred to? I hope you have put your mentality into consideration first, otherwise you should know that by inference I talked about looters and fraudsters in the name of leaders, who you support to be in authority today. As simple as it is, if you are found guilty by the courts, you go to jail. Such warped thinking. Leaders supported by you are facing cases of fraud and looting of public resources and yet you try to justify it, by telling us that you have a pending court case. That clearly shows that if given a position of authority, you will loot public resources. That’s the mentality that you carry about! So far, you have failed to mention Obi’s name in any case of embezzlement of public resources. If you have found any, do not hesitate to go public with it. If not, then you must simply rest the matter. |
Afamed:Na so Buhari use una sense, tell una say e dey fight corruption. Last last, na him government come be the most corrupt as of that time. So tay rice climb from 8K to 50k. Una support am come dey roast like grasshopper. Now BAT dey take both una sense and body dey play bet9ja. Now rice don reach 90k. No more three square meal for una. Even satchet no money to buy. No be due be that? Baba go slow come better pass am by far. Who come be zombie now so? |
JASONjnr:He’s coming as a saint because no one has found him guilty in any form. Those who are corrupt, have cases with the EFCC, ICPC and Police. If you have ever fond Obi’s name among those, please tell us. If Tinubu could fix his problem with AD and Afenifere, he would not have decamped to form AC. Is he fixing Nigeria now? Tell us how he has impacted you positively on all the indices of poverty. Tell us how you are able to have you meals three times a day, with ease. Tell us how you are able to sleep with you eyes closed. |
Certainly a kidnapper. Carrying the pump action around was to always get himself ready. Moving with the condemned iron was to spy and provide information for his gang. Edo state is completely overtaken by these evil fellows, right from Okada to Benin, to Auchi and beyond. No area is spared this menace. If you complain, it makes it worse. People cannot have peace on the farmlands. Who will rescue Nigerians from this menace? Citizens are not permitted to carry guns to defend themselves. How did such a person come about a pump action gun, if not that someone somewhere purchases and hands over to them to enable them seize lands, people and entrench themselves? |
Afamed:Yes. He will use the structure of criminality to dismantle those who you have always supported to make living miserable. |
JASONjnr:Those who steal you dry and make life miserable in this country, why are their investments not in Nigeria, but scattered in Europe and USA? Why are they hiding their stolen funds in holes and nothing attached to their names? What has happened to those ones with no factories, known offices, yet are stupendously wealthy? What about your oga why have always denied business, hotels, etc attached to their names? |
beerfraud:Thinking of a typical BAT supporter. No wonder many are wallowing in abject poverty. Na strong thing dem do una. |
Thank you very much for this. Statistics should have included his the entire if his life, awards, qualifications, etc. Now they have on their own made Obi more popular than ever before! BAT: AD 1999 - 2006 Governor AC 2006 - 2010 Governor Metamorphosed to ACN - 2007 - 2011. No position. ACN 2011 - 2014 No position/brought PMB,etc to form coalition against GEJ. APC 2014 - 2023 No position/ nearly denied by PMB and declared emilokan APC 2023 - 2027 |
CryptoPornster:Did he mention how many years that he worked with the boy? Do you think that all apprentices serve for seven years? You may take you time to check and you”ll find that many serve for far lower. Where is the slavery? Or you do not know that before the boy left his parents, terms were agreed? What justification do you have when a boy of that age took out his boss’s money to purchase four phones worth 1.2 million for his girlfriend - who happened to be the cashier? Does that not tell you that the two of them have been combining to seriously steal from the shop where they work? Do you not know that between them, millions went missing? How can you justify such act of wickedness? Who’s making the other a slave between the two and the man. That’s absolute wickedness and must be condemned by all. It is only a thief who can justify such act. |
Hausa:Well, it’s not my business to say the route that he traversed or speculate how many hours/days it took him to travel on his bicycle from Benue to Lagos. It therefore is needless to discuss that with your likes, especially as you already have a mindset about the young man and his voyage. If his voyage brings him joy and peace, that’s nobody’s business to complain about, since he infringes on no one’s rights or liberties. A close look reveals that bicycle as a mountain bicycle. I hope you know what mountain bicycles are and what they are used for? That puts that bicycle in a very expensive and powerful range. The bicycle is built for certain terrain, very rugged and built to speed. Hopefully you know that it’s not the village type, used to transport firewood and farm produce. However you can read the below to clear up your doubts: Here are some rough estimates of average mountain bike speeds: - lCasual ride: 10-15 km/h (6-9 mph) - Recreational ride: 15-20 km/h (9-12 mph) -Intermediate ride: 20-25 km/h (12-16 mph) - Advanced ride: 25-30 km/h (16-19 mph) - Professional/racing: 30-40 km/h (19-25 mph) or faster You can make your personal search on how many kilometers it takes from Makurdi to Ojota toll gate in Lagos for example. Looking at the estimate I gave you above, you can determine how long it took him to get to Lagos, factoring the night time and refreshment time. |
CorperKola:Thank you for correcting yourself. In all, it is preferable to have a President who thinks of the welfare of citizens and ensures that there’s food, peace and security, over one who is a political wizard, without understanding of what living good lives for all the citizens means. |
FreeStuffsNG:Sure, but please it was a court order and not an opinion. You did not read the dailies. This is not the first that legislators have won such cases. This is also not the first of such by irresponsible Senate Presidents. An appeal is a complete waste of time, ad it was long ago settled. This gra gra based politics must be put to an end. Legislators make laws and break the laws with ease on their own. In Lagos, there are BRT lanes, just for rapid bus. You find military men and other security men, along with the so called big men, who should be enforcing the rules, breaking the rules daily. You complain, they beat you up. The National Assembly is about rights. If rights are not upheld in such places, where is the hope of other citizens? Read the below links and save yourself the stress: https://fij.ng/article/flashback-these-senators-reps-challenged-their-suspension-they-won-in-court/ https://www.thisdaylive.com/2025/03/10/courts-have-stopped-illegal-suspension-of-legislators-in-nigeria/ The courts ensured that all entitlements were returned! |
Exousiang01:“ ABUJA– The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has ordered the Senate to reinstate the suspended lawmaker representing Kogi Central, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan. The court, in a judgement that was delivered by Justice Binta Nyako, described as “excessive”, the six-month suspension that was slammed on the lawmaker by the Senate. It faulted the provision of Chapter 8 of the Senate Standing Rules as well as section 14 of the Legislative Houses, Powers & Privileges Act, declaring both as overreaching. The court stressed that the two legislations failed to specify the maximum period that a serving lawmaker could be suspended from office. According to the court, since lawmakers have a total of 181 days to sit in every legislative circle, the six-month suspension handed to Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan was akin to pushing her away from her responsibilities to her constituents for about 180 days. It held that though the Senate has the power to punish any of its members who err, such sanction must not be excessive to deprive the constituents of their right to be represented. Nevertheless, the court held that the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, was not wrong to have denied the plaintiff who was not on the official seat that was allotted to her, the opportunity to speak during plenary. Justice Nyako equally dismissed Akpabio’s contention that the court lacked the jurisdiction to entertain the suit which he said bordered on an internal affair of the Senate. The body of the report carried “advise” and reporters from several news agencies carried the word “ordered”? Between you and the reporters, who was right inside the court? Who got first hand information between you and them? By the way, did you not read in previously decided cases that the suspension contravened senate rules? Did you read other decided cases? Who is the illiterate please? |
