Above average doesn’t mean you are world class also

For example ousmane dembele is not an average player but also not a world class player
I don't get...none of our players are above average most especially our wingers DT churn out gk stats season in and out(max 4goals ,3assist or 2 as d case maybe)...oda players with good average goal and assist ratio are still tagged average... Na our own wey dey manage stat bar Moses simon "club form" dts still manageable we tag above average, shio
Even osaze wey score 15goals as a winger gan..na average we still tag am den smiley

The January transfer window is around the corners, and one of Nigeria’s exciting attackers is back in the rumour mills

Greek media, as per Mynet, is claiming that Henry Onyekuru will leave Olympiacos in the January transfer season after failing to make much positive impact during his first six months at the club.

Onyekuru only moved to Olympiacos in August after the Greek champions secured his signing on a four-year deal for an undisclosed fee believed to be in the region of four-and-a-half million euros. The Greek giants beat Fenerbahce, Galatasaray, and Besiktas to his signature in the summer.

But the 24-year-old forward has found it hard to settle down in Greece, and he is yet to produce his best form.

The Nigerian international has not registered a goal in nine league appearances and has just one assist in five Europa League games for the Red-Whites.

According to the reports, Onyekuru has his eyes set on returning to Galatasaray, where he has previously spent three different loan spells.
Let dis guy kuku stay in galatasaray..instead of dis frequent moves..d act is stalling his career..my opinion cool

I watch all Awoniyi games. You cannot compare his pressing to Osimhen's. They are not in the same league.

Awoniyi has poor stamina, take it to the bank. That is in fact the reason why his pressing is poor. He starts well, but gasses out quickly and can't press with the same intensity he started with. Awoniyi has never been that kind of player though, right from U17.

When I meant big stage, I meant consistently at a top level. Keeping his form until the end of the season would be a good start.
Maybe its a must all striker must av osimhen pressing style..any small thing press press..abeg make we hear word,...diff player with diff style, d koko is be effective.... Suarez, aguero and co,no dey press shishi, yet dey score double digit each season,Taiwo is having a good season and he's very effective for his club, period,

I think Everton have had better players than west ham and Leicester for the past 2 seasons

You Dey call Rondon wey dem buy because of injury ,but you didn’t asked about Calvert lewin who is only behind Kane in the English team and you pretend not to know about Richarlison

You Dey call delph but you no see Allan and doucoure,I won’t even speak of Sigurdsson and Andre Gomez who has been injured

Leicester city beats them only on CB position ,the fofana you are calling is not a starter for Leicester city ,you didn’t even call a top player like Johnny Evans

Next time when making comparison you should be calling Everton good players and not the ekuke ones ,you called rondon and you will pretend you don’t know about Richarlison and Calvert lewin grin

FYI Calvert lewin scored 16 epl goals last season which none of them are penalties and has already scored 3 in 3 games before he was injured this season

If you check it well it’s only the epl big boys like Chelsea Liverpool mancity Man U have better players than Everton ,they might be on the same level with Leicester and spurs if not better in terms of players
I think Everton problem has always been having d right coach ever since Moyes left, dey av not gotten d right coach to harness d talents dey av to bring out d best

So these guys here wanna tell me that they cannot sacrifice lord musa and Simon for Victor Moses ?

We have better wingers but they will come here to cry after every match day grin

Your opinion is valid jare
Ppu fail to realize here DT its due to d wingers failure to produce decent crosses, create chances etc is why d clamor for vmoses return is strong..we have d least goals in w/c qualifers when some teams re boosting of 25goals

True ,we av many wingers in d team ,but aw many of dem are effective for d team,we wail after every match dt we don't utilize our set piece well after creating many in a single match, yet we still do not want us to try an exp vicmo...so what exactly do we want

Even d striking option we claim to av capable hands..immediately osimhen was injured, all of sudden we realized we don't really have dt charismatic player in person of osimhen to spear d attack...is it nacho/onauchu dt is not reliable we want to have our hopes on for afcon title next year? Or untested awoniyi or Dennis dt is yet to prove demselves in d national team

This is main reason y we need ighalo now Dan ever, if we look at options on ground on who to spear head d attack in Cameroon, cos he has done it b4 three years ago as d highest goal scorer.

How does this game exposed Spain ?

Then beat us 3-0 and you feel this game showed us that Spain was beatable, lol
U shld knw I don't sugarcoat stuff

I say it d way I c it...if u av a spare time..watch d game again and tell me d outcome,at times result of a match doesn't really depict d d real event of what transpired..bar d strikers messing up Mikel few chances he created and some silly mistakes wc led to deir goals..d match was a close contest..we played well dt night..and I would choose watching dt game again Dan watching our 1-1 draw against capeverde...dis is a match I would term losing beautifully cool

Mikel was class, a Gem at U20, so unfortunate Mou turns him to a DM. If we are to be sincere with ourselves, none of our present players is a top player, perhaps slightly above average (Ndidi).

Jez checked the Clip and see how Eagles should be dominating Matches. Off ball Movement, transitions, fluidity and so on. Rohr is assembling average Squad, persuading rejected foreign Borns to play for us and we are celebrating it - but at expense of developing and exporting our local Talents.

Watch Siasia U20 Team, watch how we played at Olympic under same Siasia, and you gonna see the Truth. It's so boring tactically nowadays with Eagles. Nothing spectacular with Teamplay, rather hoping on luck to score Goals and win Matches.

Rohr has to go, but I prefer a tactically sound local Coach to take over. Gonna give Amuneke a chance - 2yrs Contract, if I am responsible for the Appointment of next Coach.
It was dis match dt exposed Spain.. Despite d 3-nil defeat ...it showed oda nations dt Spain was actually beatable and not d oda wayround of been invincible after a lengthy streak of winning games...na Brazil later do d magic for final cool

Not my pick at all. I think we are old enough to lead ourselves. Enough of the white men experiment. Let us give our local coaches a rotational four years plan. You only keep your role if you perform well in four year and lose your role if you perform poorly in two years. No sack in between that two years.

Amunike goes first.

Finidi second

Oliseh third.
Sincerely speaking I would want to go with u on dis...looking back at d years we av been employing foreign coaches...let us juxtapose deir achievement with our local coaches..is dere any much difference? So y waste tax payers money to bring someone who we can easily get d same quality in here with lesser amount?....henceforth,my support is for a local coach to take over from rohr. smiley
