How come clashes between two members of ethnic group over domestic issues now suddenly turned to political matter of ACN/TINUBU /PDP ? Hey, there are some cheap idiiiiots on this thread. |
Waoh! What a creative job, shine like a star you are OP |
AKI (CON) and PAWPAW (CON) for president and Vice President |
Lack of good leadership has led to lack of good followership. It is more of blame and curse those at the top stealing, and then you shove your way to the top, so you can also steal large. |
i am surprised at some of the convo going on here, Will this be the new form of tribalism, when you eventually get the Biafran nation? |
I dont believe this shit, Osun PDP's stock in trade is peddling lies infested rumours. They have no iota of integrity. |
Ah, that dreadlock dude of a husband was surely a rebound after her divorce. She even said, "give me my mac back", most likely referring to her ex- husband Darius McCrary |
@OP, you are a despicable liar , how can you edit someone's quoted statement to suit your wish? shame on you ![]() |
all4naija:I have not justified the killing in any way, i have only pointed out that the LGA chairman is the chief culprit, ofcourse the soldiers went overboard killing the madman that brutally. |
executive chairman of Eleme Local Government Area, Chief Oji Ngofa Oji is the chief culprit, he failed and he should accept it. His council left a violent mad man on the street attacking continuosly passerby, and he wasn.t moved away. If the madman had not been killed, he probably would kill someone later |
VALIDATOR:@ VALIDATOR, can you kindly validate Erinle's claim? ![]() |
Alliance that will work to ouster the PDP can not be a fire brigade one. It must be an early and threatening one that can withstand the test of time, it must match the PDP toe to toe, and give the campaign what it needs. Negative Ads wont be a bad idea. Political strategists for the alliance must also take readings of the political climate and then shortlist credible candidates that can satisfy the foolishness of majority of Nigeria's voters. The governors of the biggest opposition political party ACN must also "perform" creditably to serve as marketing bait for the electorates |
They simply lack the mental tools needed to make meaningful judgments. The above summarises it all for many electorates world wide. It is a complete disaster for most countries in the "thirld world", poor decision skills rules the world |
noblezone:I appreciate your analysis, but your figure is 10 times greater than it should be. N3.8 billion would be appropriate, putting it in right perspective |
i doubt it. unilag has pretty much an open door policy in admissions.
You are re-emphasising my point I've seriously never met anyone who said they were denied admission to unilag.Unfortunately, Unilag has the highest rejection rate, since it has the highest number of applicants(University of first choice) why some of you are getting sensitive about this matter is beyond me- might be due to some issues i suppose.its been in central lagos also attracts some part time lecturers who are practically oriented and practicing in industries, large firms also easily collaborate with the school in form of grants, training - duh lol i actually didnt choose unilag at all when i wrote jamb. My choices were oau, UI and UNN i think. UNN because they had so many courses, including archaeology which i was interested in at the time. Of course my chances of actually being allowed to go to UNN even if I'd been admitted, would have been pretty slim. My dad would never have agreed- too far.Unilag is the most balanced institution of all you've listed. @OP, a word is enough for the wise. Some of the engineering students were drafted in setting up the first university radio station in nigeria in 2002. Moves are in top gear in setting up the first university TV station in nigeria, you might get exposure through stuffs like this. Siemens is also in strong partnership with the institution. Make sure you are sound oh, the fear of Prof Mowete is the beginning of wisdom |
Chrisbenogor:Two major thing determine output, your input and process. The quality of intakes determine will definitely affect the output, i remember the chemical engr set in 2001, where 13 of them scored over 300/400 in Jamb, very brilliant boys /girls, of course, there will be a progression as much as 7 of the 13 came out with a first class. By the way, how many engineering schools in Nigeria has up to 9 departments? that should give a rough reason, why you see more first class graduates |
Chrisbenogor:Hey, i am talking of a federal university here, UNILAG will not discrimate !, Till tomorrow, UNILAG still has the highest number of applicants for admission in any university in Nigeria, so it strictly competitive. Check out most people who have bad things to say about UNILAG, they or their relations have been declined admission at one point in time. You said you have not seen the engineering students, Where have you been checking? be sincere with yourself and answer the question. |
UNILAG- all the way. BUT, ensure you have at least a credit pass in FURTHER MATHEMATHICS in your wassce, if not nine distinctions in your wassce will not get you into the faculty of engineering. You will compete with the best of the best-believe me on this. In your year one, you will not be taking ordinary mathematics with other science courses, but Engineering Pure mathematics and Engineering Applied Mathematics. There are 9 departments in the faculty of engineering, and each can boast of at least 4 professors trained in and out of the country |
@op, your girl messed up big time, for her to have done what she did, she would pounced on you and batter you if she had a greater physical strength than you, nevertheless, you also messed up by beating her "that much" as u gave in the details. You've lost a level of respect in her eyes. you two need to iron the situation out in a deep talk |
Before they achieve that, the world will come to an abrupt end |
@OP Her emotions are getting diverted- SURELY. I smell a dejavu in your case, i was 23, she was 18. met her when she was 15. She finds it difficult to completely open up to you, she definitely respects you a lot to great deal, and tends to see a "father like figure in you". About her emotions diversification, i sense a great guy(pardon me) at the root of the matter, this guy is doing a yeo mans job winning her heart and making her confuse, and possibly making her rethink if probably she needs to keep the relationship with you slightly open. The other guy is possibly 1 or 2 years older, with lots of youthful vibrancy, and unfotunately she finds it easier to express herself with him. The father like figure she sees in you (she respects you too much, ) is what you have to deflate. Offer her less of tough love, and come up with more sweet nothing, romantic fairy tale(be more emotional than logical). Dont bother to ask her to tell you what is wrong again, just sound bubbly and cheerful as you haven't in time past |
Many people dont understand that the poverty figures are not just statistics peddled around, it is a REALITY!. They are only hit by the reality when they leave their immediate environment, sometimes through NYSC posting, most likely away from their region to remote areas in other regions, then they make a fallacy by saying poverty is in that particular region unlike theirs. Let me help those with those suffering from that kind of error of reasoning, the poverty you see in that region away from yours is VERY PRESENT in yours, if only you look well enough at the right place. BELIEVE ME ON THIS. The question you should ask yourself is how much of my state do i know? not just your urban localities, do you have a good knowlede of your rural localities? The moment you start to answer these questions objectively, the better you overcome your self induced fallacy. |
The icon of delta state ? OR The face of delta state? |
Ournaija:I still maintain the governor who asked for more revenue allocation is in good stead. The Governors forum comprising all the 36 state governors have asked for the same thing ' Increased Revenue Allocation'. It is common sense for a child to ask for more pocket money from his father, especially if the child is not allowed by his dad to do holidays job |
Beaf:Does the current arrangement of government structure allows all states to fully exploit their natural and other great resources ? If your answer is no. then ask why?. It is no point casting aspersions on the state governors, the "unitary" system currently enthrenched by the federal government does not adequately give room for effective exploitation of resources by states. If the current system stays, governors will continue to take their bowl to Abuja waiting for food. |
I still want to remain optimistic that rochas will perform well, although something tells me he is a man that wants to run faster than his shadows. I don't agree with his free education policy from primary to university level, unless there are other hidden clauses. If he will be perform well as a governor, he needs to temporarily take off his mind on his presidential ambition, at least for the next two years. He needs to run an administration devoid of un necessary propaganda, and refuse to make unnecessary enemies |
your girlfriend SURELY has something to hide. Forget all those privacy shit many have identified, many have chart a new course and have saved or prevented staying in a wrong relationship through checking out their partners phone. Though you could have waited longer and give her a lifeline of checking the phone or calling it quit. I want to use this analogy to pass the point of me not supporting the privacy non-sense. A man who travelled got back to his home, after being away for a week, he steps in to his sitting room, and then tries to go into his wife's bedroom, only for his wife to block him, and she says " no you cant go in to my bedroom". @op, you have got to make your decision, but you must keep an open mind, if you want her to stay, she could be cheating. |
The minister with is " IF , , Then, ". Is he a Java Programmer? He should please STFU, any promise from the FG on the power sector is so nauseating, it turns my stomach. |
Here is what an ill-equipped but reasonable person in similar condition and faced with same circumstance would have done. . . . . aim your gun at the package and shoot it. If it's not a bomb, it does not explode and since no human is in it, the bullet does not cause casualty. A bag of rice might get a hole and start leaking but there is remedy for the hole. If its a bomb, the bullet will set it off and successfully detonate it at a safe distance. If everything else fails, I hear rats infested Lagos secretariat. . . . get the bastards trained to sniff bombs. They get cheeze for productive work, not for free. If a rat trips and his a_ss sets a live bomb off, then humans learn from his mistake and know not to approach a suspecting bag without first bribing a cheeze addicted rat to inspect it. Get smart guys. . . . tell IG of police I can import rats for him if he prefers yankee trained ones, . they come with sophistication that their Naija counterparts lack. shyyt!!
Your planned action only looks reasonable with the benefit of hindsight. When you see a bomb, you dont detonate it, you defuse it. Shooting at the package is crude, No point creating a huge crater along the road and causing scare and panic if truly it is a bomb package, The sergeant ought to have gone with the right protective equipments , that he failed to do, or better still robots could have been deployed, no need spewing rubbish on the late soul and calling him names, because he didn't protect himself as he ought to. His motive was clear and well intentioned. Many of his colleagues have tried defusing bombs in the same way, and "fortunately" succesful |
RIP Sergeant !!! For all taking an all out swipe at the sergeant, I think you are a bit unfair and idealistic. It is no gain saying that many bombs have been defused in similar fashion by Nigerian police men in time past. Is it the right thing to do? No. Was the protective gadget available and he refused to put it on? No. What he had done is similar to how many policemen with inferior fire power have face armed robbery gangs with superior fire power and many times saved the day !. O ye people where is your empathy? |
