He is a viable candidate.

All this toll gates brouhaha is simply a political jargon. GEJ is introducing toll gates also.

The school fees for Staylites (year 2 and above)in Lagos State University is still one of the cheapest , if not the cheapest, when compared to all other 35 state universities in Nigeria. If any one has a different idea, let them come out with figures, cos i know what i am saying.

Nugwax:
As of today, oil
price is $113/barrel and I will use 113 to show you why we need to borrow every year and deplete our reserves. 1. Crude oil
production per day is 2million barrels.

2. Current price= $113/barrel

3. Daily sales= 2.M x 113= $226million

4. Yearly sales= $226million x 365= $80billion

5. Naira equivalent =101.7billion x #160=13trillion naira
per year.

70% efficiency = 8 trillion (Because the system is not solid state and platforms shut in every once in a while)

60:40 JV sharing leaves Nigeria with a paltry 4.8Trillion of
which 4Trillion is budgeted for next year.
There are wrong computations in the analysis

4. Yearly sales= $226million x 365= $80billion   $82.49billion

5. Naira equivalent =101.7billion   $82.49billion x #160=13 13.2 trillion naira

70% efficiency = 8 trillion  9.24 trillion per year.(70% * 13.2trillion) (Because the system is not solid state and platforms shut in every once in a while)

60:40 JV sharing leaves Nigeria with a paltry 4.8Trillion 5.5 Trillion Naira/annum

OIL CONSTITUTES ROUGHLY 92% OF Nigeria's EARNINGS.  8% of non oil revenue

108% of 5.5 trillion = roughly 6 trillion naira.

Petrol is a bye product of crude oil.  Chaos is a bye product of corruption.

The chaos you are trying to represent in picture is also a bye product of corruption. Who collects markets levies from those sellers selling at the wrong spot and turns a blind eye to the oddity?. Who approves building plan for a house to be built on a pipeline? ,

do any productive activities. Please do not say we do not have area boys in Delta state. I
cry every day because our youth are on the part of destruction. In an adjacent village during
the xmas holiday a friend of mine call the youth from his village and we were inform that
they just want to make it. (HAVE MONEY FROM ANY SOURCE WITHOUT WORKING)

Beaf this are youth with NO known employable skill and do not wish to learn any skill
Please Mr Beaf lets face the reality, we have bad goverment who careless about the
people.

BEAF, the youth in Delta state are suffering.
Thanks for exposing beaf's hypocrisy !!!

The so called action of the said "area boys" in lagos, is what an almajiri in kano or gombe can do. The roaming almajiri in kano is an "area boy".

Take a truck of container filled with imported goodies to warri, before disembarking the goods, you must settle the "boys".

I wonder why there are no area boys in Ekiti, Rivers or Delta?
Did you mean to ask that question ? you mean there are no area boys in those places?

Social outcast (a.k.a area boys, almajiri, ND militants e.t.c ) abound in the 36 states of the federation.

Don't ask any of your PA to respond next time, their IQ can not be more than 40, They are simply trolls better ignored,
I believe your IQ is roughly twice as much.

Why?
Those area boys are the products of the failed government at the centre. The policy sommersault by the irresponsible PDP government has continued to churn out social outcasts like hot bread from a bakery.

I wont be surprise if there are unemployed graduates in the mob, or possibly school drop outs (not because they are not brilliant) but the PDP policies at the centre has strengthened poverty in Nigeria, with 92.4% living on less than  $2/day

PoliticsRe: So Is The Protest A Success Or A Failure? by emiye(m): 5:49am On Jan 10, 2012
A sure success it has been so far!

Govt. can not continue to lie on a virtual cabal stealing the money.

So if i as a oil marketer import N141 worth of petrol to Nigeria, and Government compels me to sell at N65 to Nigerians, and then pay me the differentials of N76. TELL ME WHAT BAD I HAVE DONE?.

The cabals are doing a legitimate business. !

Nigeria is part of a similar cabal in OPEC . We fix the price of crude oil.

DON'T BE DECEIVED NIGERIANS?

For telling you an open secret? Is Tinubu not an oil marketer and subsidy beneficiary? Everybody knows he is bankrolling the protests along with El Rufai. Both men are using ethnic bigotry as tools to whip up sentiment. They are our enemies.

PoliticsRe: Subsidy Removal: Nigerians Made A Mistake Not Electing Buhari – El-Rufai by emiye(m): 12:09am On Jan 09, 2012
Nigerian has refused to solve the Basic cause of her problem, but fixated on solving the immediate cause

The basic cause of Nigerias problem is corruption at the high places.

The immediate cause of Nigerias problem is unemployment, poverty, bad roads, poor healthcare facilities, bla bla bla ,

Jonathan transformation agenda is poo, his case is like a football player with no define role or position.

It is foolish to think he can fix corruption in all the sectors of the economy.

He should pick 5 sectors and deal decisively with issues of corruption in those sectors. He must be ready to fry balls , roast corrupt heads, and commit a class suicide.

Sending a bill and mobilsing NASS members in setting up a special court for corruption cases

Slash the cost of executive arm of governance by at least 40%

Declare a state of emergency on the following four sectors.
He doesn't necessarily need to create jobs, he should create an enabling environment for jobs to be created.

In order of priority (1) Power >>>
                             (2) Petroleum >> NNPC e.t.c
                             (3) Security >> police, customs, army
                             (4) Agriculture

Kobojunkie:
Correct yourself please. There were 17 candidates of which Jonathan was the only one with an almost 12 year long record proving him an incapable leader. He was the only one who had been in office and in all that time has not even one recognizable accomplishment for all that the Nigerian people had vested in him.
In every election, there are contenders and pretenders.

A month or 2 month before, any sensible person should be able to separate contenders from pretenders.

It is possible there are better canditates in the pretender list.

Opinion polls is one way to do that. IMHO any candidate that can garner 15% in opinion poll can be referred to as a contender.
PoliticsRe: Blame Nobody But Yourselves, Nigerians! by emiye(m): 12:00am On Jan 08, 2012
Nigerians should vote the "BEST OF THE CONTENDERS" We only had 3 contenders at the last poll.

Jonathan was the worst of the contenders !
Because Rawlings coup was essential and desired by the masses. Nigerians didn't want or request Buhari's takeover and he had no intention to relinquish power back to the civies.
your assertions are not true to situation.

The second republic and the aborted third republic (shagari-Oct 1979-Dec 1983 ) were epitome of corruption. You need to understand the situation then, poverty and high handedness were the other of the day. One of the top cabinet ministers Umaru dikko when confronted with the rising poverty profile, said "Nigerians are not yet feeding from the wastebin".

There are many white elephant projects awarded then, still not completed. The Buhari takeover was essential and desired based on the prevailing political climate.

Any man or woman who has, at one time or another, participated in the take over of a democratically elected government, be it violently or subtly and had trumped the constitution of the land, the supreme laws of a land, has no business contesting for an elective office ever again irrespective of his refined personality or remorse for past deed and i would vote for a man with down syndrome before such a traitor.

If not for the moral, ethical and political decadence in Nigeria, Buhari would have been dead or on death row instead of parading his old azz looking for cheap popularity from brain dead eediots.
I think an average Ghanian still respects Jerry Rawlings! No?
