The 32naira increase in petrol price has failed to curtail govts borrowing, and the infrastructural growth fails to commensurate with the funds available.

In simpler language a candidate who is more qualified( knowlege, ability to perform e.t.c ) might perform poorly at the polls than a less qualified candidate . assuming both are fielded on the same platform. That is one of the drawbacks of democracy, especially in a setup like Nigeria where sentiments richly guide the choice of the majority of electorates.
