Goddex: I think, East - West Road will be like five times the distance of Lagos - Ibadan but with a very bad terrain and involving several bridges. The road starts in Delta cutting across Bayelsa, Rivers, Abia, Akwa Ibom and terminates in Cross River.DONT THINK. You need figures whatever to prove what you think. On the topic, we have several Shameless hypocrites on nairaland - the likes of Gbawe. His paymasters are sacking us dry in the South West while bombarding us with loads of propaganda You need to prove this |
Bushdiri: My fellow Nairalanders,if you will believe me,without putting into consideration your religion, region or political affiliate, then you should know from these day that ACN is far corrupt than PDP, I pray that Nigerians should start seeing things the way they are.Prove it ! |
nOble^gEnt:If a party fields an unelectable candidate, the electorates will decide Political parties Primaries in Nigeria is overrated. To the best of my knowledge, party's primaries in state involves 1,000 or slightly more party members who are usually gagged with ghana must go , and the candidate who offers the biggest Ghana must go emerges. If there was a free flow primary in Acn for the gubernatoial candidate, Fashola will not emerge. One thing i have observed about ACN candidates is the good quality of their candidates, and they are allowed to work |
EasternLeopard: @GBAWE So to construct East-West road which will be about 1500km will cost the govt 1.5 trillion naira at the rate of 1billion per kilometer. Abeg which community secondary school or glorified secondary school posing as a university u attended.East-west road is 1500km ? ![]() Use facts to make sense now, are you saying east west road is like 10 times longer than the Lagos-Ibadan express way (130km)? |
Gbawe: What "obvious" is he repeating? More like he is talking ignorantly while everyone praising his "truth-telling" only display their ignorance also and a sentimental outlook totally lacking in objectivity. This is how Odumakin and some Nigerian leader 'ALUU-nize' the mentality of Nigerians to work them up into a frenzy against other leaders they dislike and you guys are all easy to wind up because you will not seek facts. you are only seeking heroes and enemies and the utterance to confirm which is which. Odumakin wrote:Ah, Oga Gbawe, you are using facts and figure to deal with this mobs. that Akwa ibom road costs almost N2.5billion per kilometre ![]() Even the Lagos-Ibadan Express way will cost roughly N1.4billion per kilometre. Odumakin is surely "loose-guarding", i guess he has a personal score to settle with tinubu and the ACN |
Sincere 9gerian: I know there's a thin line between violence and throwing stones but throwing of stones is one COMMON feature of protesters all over the world. Why do protesters throw stones? They throw stones to reach targets the security people prevented them from reaching physically. Are you saying that throwing stone is not violenct?, i feel like using my catapult to fire stones on your head. Goliath sef never live to tell the story after david stones. Didn't you see that damage on the SUV, if that stone impact was on your head, that head will split open like palm kernel frod, and you will not live to tell the story |
which kind son? how many years you take senior am ? |
hmmmn, the analysis put to bear many of my thought process about Amaechi and rivers state debacle. It is a great analysis, my real fear was penned in the last paragraph, the anti amaechi folks who now control the states pdp apparatus do not really care about the development of the state or betterstill can not offer anything near the slightly above average developmental strides of Amaechi, should full power return to their hands. |
How can that kind of crass personality find his way in to a chamber for honourables ?, this is a new low, a gutter personality that should be at best a motor park tout. |
The president 2015 ambition is causing so much trouble and division , i wonder what will happen if he loses at the polls. I foresee a Quattara vs Laurent Gbagbo situation in Nigeria. A situation where 16 > 19 and 5 > 27, there is no way GEJ will accept a loss at the 2015 elections in the event he loses. I fear for the unity of this country after 2015 elections, the signs are bad. |
Too bad, i hope the fire was put off quite early . |
breezy047: Walking around like a headless chicken like Victor Moses too did in the same match?Leave story, martins is getting tired, prior to the nations cup, he also flopped at the SE games he was invited for, and that was the main reason keshi did not take him to the nations cup, he tried giving him another chance after the nations cup, his performance was still not impressive. People need to get to use to the fact that players form dips after a while mostly due to biological reasons (age) or lack of club appearance, e.t.c. If you keep a mental image of martins form in 2007-2010, and you expect him to show you that same form in 2013, you might be hallucinating, he claims to be 29 years anyway. Martins of 2013 might still have some flashes of 2010, but the law of diminishing returns is at work on him, his club move is also a pointer to that. |
What constitutes "constructive criticism"? Some people can easily run their mouth and claim they are criticizing constructively, i have utmost respect for Oliseh, but i feel some of his submissions are wrong. Keshi has been doing a wonderful job on the current crop of eagles, i still dont get some folks fixation on the old horse like Osaze and martins to be recalled, who i believe are spent forces. Criticism is cheap, any one can offer it, but i think what every critic owes a duty is to think through before offering it. Injuries to onazi, emenike and moses weakened the strength of SE's team at the confeds cup. I think the biggest work for Keshi at the moment is to create a strong bench in the event of situations like injuries as we suffered just prior to the confed cup. A situation where each player on the field has a very good substitute on the bench (This is the biggest opportunity area for the SE team especially at the attack). Keshi will not get to find such good substitutes not until he creates a pool and put them to use to validate if they are good enough, this i think is what Keshi is doing. |
Finally, the stage is now set for the battle to begin |
Opeyemi Bamidele needs to chill, i dont see why he would want to stop Fayemi at the ACN primaries, it is not sensible at the moment, All the ACN governors deserve a 2nd term ticket, Tinubu endorsing Fayemi is in line, and i am certain he will win the ACN ticket. By the way, i think a party dropping a performing incumbent governor for a house of rep member is not strategic, it is not in the best interest of the party, and sends a wrong signal to the populace. |
Mowin: according 2 those who have gone 4 training, no other role will b called 4 training. Its 4 Reg & enrolment officers only..ok then, i will stay positive for the good news, God willing, we will smile. |
Mowin: Organisational Strategy nd workplan: we r waiting 4 our APL.. anyone representing??me dey wait o? abi training dey for us ni? |
Chillypelly: Jonathan fulfilling promises dullards crying foul. I have not seen any government in the history of nigera that has mustered courage to carry out jobs like you have with GEJ's govt.Through out the days of Obasanjo, to Yaradua and now in the days of Jonathan, "will" is never a scarce comodity. |
penny01502: I don't believe ignorance people like you still exist in our great country, imagine you displaying your sense of ignore and stupi**dity of social network.I think your written English is ignorant ! |
Is that not the CCECC that some conspiracy theorist claims that Tinubu owns partly ? |
nice one |
The Mischievious dolts in PDP are on the usual spin and sell. I pity the bulk of Nigerians who wants to keep that party in power in 2015. Stockholm syndrome is the best way to describe what is happening . SMH |
Nigeria has been unconvincing, and has played like a team that will lose against an average side, Painfully,i dont see us beating them, Uruguay is worthy to be the 1st in their group, they lost unexpectedly their first game, and are back strongly in the tourney. Nigeria will play beautifully well, but as usual, since the African U 20 tourney, lose lots of scoring chances. Quarter final qualification by Nigeria will be a surprise for me. |
Ijogz K: I don't know bout Lagos compared to Ogun State, but from my childhood have always known that Ogun State is the 2nd most industrialized state in Nigeria. Go to Sango Otta alone, there's an industrial area dat houses well over 50 top industries.. Fidson, Drugfield, Sona breweries now taken over by Nigeria breweries, Mayer, just to mention a few.Imagine someone saying no industry is in ota, the volume of industries in that axis alone is more than what is in some geo-political zones. Check out most made in nigeria drugs, there is a greater probability, it was made in ota, nigeria. By the time you consider the other industries in (Agbara, Mowe, Ewekoro, Ibese, Shagamu, Magboro, Ibafo, Ifo, Akute ,...)to the ones in ota, you will understand why the Governors claim might not be far from Reality. Lagos and Ogun state are the two most industrialised states in Nigeria |
I think he realises APGA is dead, he successfully buried that party because of the porridge from Jonathan's PDP, if not he should have risen up to the occassion, championing APGA at least across SE. Igbo's need a personality like Tinubu. |
MODS, CHANGE THE SCORE LINE, YOU HAVE CURRENTLY TURNED THE SCORELINE UPSIDE DOWN |
solomon111: Wtf are you saying?Google Sango-ota, you will cure ignorance |
Akpor Pius Ewherido, the Senator representing Delta Central senatorial district of Delta State in the Nigerian Senate has died. Family sources told www.thetimesofnigeria.com that the senator died today after suffering a fatal stroke yesterday. “I can confirm to you that our dear senator died a few hours ago.” A close friend of the senator told thetimesofnigeria.com correspondent in Abuja a few minutes ago. The source said that the Delta State government had actually concluded plans to evacuate him oversee following the stroke. http://www.thetimesofnigeria.com/TON/Article.aspx?id=13936 |
IGR from N730million in May 2011 to N3.8 billion in may 2013. That is commendable, ultimately people now wants to see the dividends of increased IGR to the state. |
It is foolishness to put ALL trust in any man, even the bible warns against that. You can't even trust yourself completely, "he who thinks he is strong, let him take heed, lest he falls". In a relationship, if i suspect my girl is "skidding", i can help her from falling in to doing the wrong things, if i deem her as still reasonable. Maybe Adam trusted Eve so much that he decided to eat the Apple from the tree of life when he shouldn't have. TRUST is simply not white or black, there are shades of grey. It is not a binary of just 0 or 1 |
There is no mirror for the heart |
