GEJ has failed to solve the major issues bedevilling the nation. 1. Build new refineries(in 24 months) and stop importation of refined fuel, those refineries can be privatised later. 2. Increase the power generation and distribution remarkably 3. tackle corruption in most sectors. The listed have far reaching effect than any other 100 of things he claim to have achieved. 17 months to election, i dont intend to vote for him if he contest in 2015 |
Jomark: I see why Yorubas are called tribalist! See how all of you support your governor even though you know such a thing has never happened in Nigeria before. Now that PDP and Jonthan are dancing naked in the street, I thought that a messiah would come from the west but alas! They are the wolves devouring our sheep. I loved Fashola and rated him high above his mates but the latest development has made me given up hope in ACNCheck this thread, https://www.nairaland.com/1381602/anambra-ordered-arrest-deportation-child/ where peter obi "deported" destitutes to ebonyi, akwa ibom as far back as 2011. Fashola humanely picks a destitute and train them before reuniting them with their family in their homeland |
LaShawn: I have been in an abusive relationship and I wouldn't advice anybody to try and manage an abusive man. I did and I paid for it with my mind, health, sanity, money and confidence. There should be very little tolerance for emotional abuse in a pre marital relationship, you ought to have left immediately you spotted the red flag. In a marital relatioship, there should be increased tolerance and situations like that should be well managed by the saner couple. |
This man should not start changing tones ooo , he has earlier said he will stop bearing okupe if APC survives for a year i am already counting down for him to stop bearing okupe. 363 days left on the countdown |
God used Fashola to offer her a lifeline, hope the tribal bigots will take note |
LADY OF RAGE: Didn't you hear that a man was picked up on his way to his shop and kept in detention for 6 months? He was among those deported. how wicked could that be!That man is a wicked liar ! Only a destitute will be arrested for months and no one shows up to identify him/her, not even his/her co-tenants at the phantom shop. |
I laugh at the mischievous fellow who said shoprite is closing soon in Ib, a bigger one is opening by 2014. |
From the attached documents, annex 4, akwa ibom state also deported 2 "lagosians" |
I want to believe many a times in issues of physical abuse in marital relationship, there are both action and reaction. Where Emotional abuse is the action and physical abuse the reaction, although the emotional abuse could be real or perceived. |
This should be on front page. Now, the truth is being revealed. Fashola was right when he said this is political year in Anambra state as such mischievious things will abound. The reply was from a senior special assistant to the governor, so no hiding space for anambra state govt. to feign ignorance. |
Why so much obsession on one man with no political post ? |
cannonnier: Then this simply mean that hausa is the dominating langua in Nigeria.Yes, Hausa is the most spoken language in Nigeria. Your second assertion is not quite right. The Hausa (autonyms for singular: Bahaushe; plural Hausawa and general: Hausa/Haoussa; exonyms being Ausa, Mgbakpa, Kado, Al-Takari and Abakwariga) are one of the largest ethnic groups in West Africa. They live primarily in the Sahelian and Sudanian areas of northern Nigeria and southeastern Niger, with significant numbers also living in parts of Cameroon, Côte d'Ivoire, Chad, Ghana[2], and Sudan. The Hausa are a minority in every country they reside in except Niger, where they constitute the majority |
Umaru dikko who said something like "Nigerians are not poor, since they are not eating from the dustbin yet". Buhari tried to smuggle umaru dikko in crate, from where he fled to, but the airport officials saved his head. |
cannonnier: Guy what are you saying? Hausa is one of the biggest tribe in africa. Guess you don't know that hausa you don't know that their are hausa speaking tribe almost every noon & cranny of west africa.I am talking about Hausa population in Nigeria, The Hausa language that is widely spoken in many northern states is the reason why many misconceive the population of Hausas, an average minority tribeman in the north can speak hausa, he is not necessarily a Hausa man, even most of our past leaders (IBB, Gowon,ABdusalam, Buhari, e.t.c) from the north are not Hausas. |
manny4life: Lol at HATRED right in front of you, Yoruba's have more population than the Hausa's...lol.Though this is off the discussion. i agree that the Yorubas are definitely more than the Hausa, but usually the Hausa-Fulani is grouped as a tribe. Igbos are also more than the hausas, it is when the Hausa-fulani combo is introduced, then one cant be sure who is more populated except a credible census is conducted. |
BLOOD GENOTYPE. Get the test done in a standard hospital lab AS + AS = NO MARRIAGE |
Campaign will likely start officially in 14months from now Oct 2014, as elections will hold in Dec 2014 or Jan 2015. Jonathan has roughly 15 months to prove himself if ever he wants to return. I doubt he will get the level of support in 2015 from SE/SS region as he had in 2011 |
adino: bohari will be happy with this. This further reveals your shallow level of thinking. |
adino: You are a big foool and may God punish you for been so stuupid. See your fooolish comment when boys of your son's age died gallantly, while an old ldiot like you choose to be a morron. All your curse will not return empty, it will come to pass in your life. https://www.nairaland.com/1374100/like-play-like-play-boko. PapaBrowne: Like Play, Like Play, Boko Haram has vanished from the pages of newspapers. Somebody help me say Amen.On Saturday, this useless thread i quoted above was opened by one of the Spin and spell online crew of Jonathan about how Boko haram is fading, since the SOE, my first thought was the 25 oyo traders killed by BH 3 weeks back in borno , the 30 + students killed in Yobe , and some other very recent ones, Why do people like to see the nonsense they want to see?. The situation on ground does not reflect that boko haram is fading. |
The worst thing that can happen to Nigeria's democracy is a one party state, it is obvious many dont realise this. I will support other small parties taking over from PDP within states, but as long as they stay too small, they will be subsumed by the "BIG" PDP. At the moment, any similarly "BIG" OPPOSITION PARTY WILL DO,It might not have the best of ideologies, but it has a long term positive effect on democracy and governance. |
But some set of people on Nairaland are making claims of the extinction of Boko Haram. i guess their claims is a mirage on their mind ![]() |
His words: “As I said previously, our application was submitted on the 8th of June, 2013. And section 84(6) says INEC has 30 days to take the decision, but when they fail to take the decision, at the expiration of the 30 days, the party is deemed registered.I dont think there is a need for protest, since the law simply states that at the end of 30 days, if INEC fails to take decision, the party is deemed registered. |
boladez: >According to my eyes as at yesterday construction had not started. Confirm with your RCC friend if the commenced construction is on paper or on ground...Mondays-Fridays, i pass through that road, no construction work has began. |
Election for 2015 will most likely hold by Dec. 2014 , I guess it is too early to mobilise contractors, for Lag-Ibada exp way and Second Niger Bridge |
psalmdave: come nd see for self cos even i waste my time xplainin all dos ur impression avt him wnt change...thank u 2My own impression will change if you can state them, and many others Bayelsa story is a paradox, so much with so little to show. |
Igbos should seek for peace rather than war, they are the tribe that will likely suffer the biggest casualty, should there be a civil war. 2/3 of Igbos in Nigeria are outside of igbo states. |
Get well soon sir ! |
honey86: Family planning in rural areas is free of charge but they don't use it.They must be sensitized for most of them to use it. |
I think the message still stays, dont conceive a child you know in your heart you can not take care. Government needs to help to sensitize many nigerians especially in the rural areas, Family planning services should be made free of charge. The Biological mom will not have killed her. That child ought to have been with her mom. |
goldylock: Oga grammer sorry oh! No be all of us go IVY league school. Na the tot of the yam experience cos the typo. But the typo sort of rhymed,"massage from a crush". Dont tell me it is message you planned to write o, |
goldylock: My own Yam moments was horrible till today I peel yam with respect. As a teenager you had all these crushes that made you uneasy and nervous. I was home alone oh! Peeling yam, then my crush (a family friend's son)came to deliver a massage. I was busy starring till date I don't even know what he was saying, before I knew it I had hugged myself with yam hand touched my head,my face my leg almost everywhere. By the time he had gone I was still in a daze. 5mins later was awakened from my daze with this ITCH from hell. I was dancing Alanta e be like say na me start that dance, I took my bath a million times rubbed calamine lotion but for where. When it finally subsided I was red all over and malaria joined! I will never ever forget that day.Did you enjoy the massage? |
Afam4eva: How are you almost certain it's a lie. Do you know them personally? How can someone own a shop in Lagos, was arrested for months and no one he could call in that Lagos where he owns a shop to identify him, common sense tells me he is a DESTITUTE |
