I am constrained to clarify this assertion which I believe is highly misleading and might have some diplomatic undertones. A brief research simply reveals that she is an American. I however stand to be corrected please. Omarosa Manigault. Despite all, this woman has always proved that she is not special right from the beginning. If it's about forthcoming elections, how come she has always flown commercial and even economy in all her trips abroad including hajj? Nairalanders seem to be most difficult set of people on earth. The religious and ethnic bias disease has eaten deep into our bone marrows. Buhari orders Ekwueme's treatment abroad... Oh he is looking for re-election. But assuming he ignored him, it would have been because Ekwueme was not from the North. Finally, Buhari ordered that Ekwueme be given a State Burial and we are it again. Waste of public Fund. Assuming PMB had not, we would have been screaming blue murder by now. Nairalanders, how can one ever satisfy you? Ejikwa m ogu O. |

Waiting to see the picture of your ass wiper. Do something meaningful abeg. Really don't blame you butthe mods that found this news worthy to mmake front page |
I marvel when I hear things like this about my kith and kins who will always be the first to scream that we are not supposed to be in one Country with the Northerners because of BH. Killing and burning a man who was nearing retirement. God , I decree that no one will waste me so that another will reap my harvest. By the way, who was the fake seer that said he was diverting destinies with a four bedroom bungalow to show for it after thirty something years of civil service? That person should be the first to be arrested. |
At times I wonder at the level of our ignorance. A minor is not permitted to be employed in any form of paid or unpaid labour. That's what is called child labour yet someone who employed her as a sales girl allowed her pass through such trauma and humiliation of arrest. And all for what? After GOD, FEAR WOMAN BREAKING: Zimbabwe’s First Lady Grace Mugabe Files For Divorce from 94 Year Old Robert Mugabe 48 mins ago News BREAKING: Zimbabwe’s First Lady Grace Mugabe Files For Divorce Zimbabwean First lady, Grace Mugabe is leaving her twenty one year marriage over concerns about her role as an irresponsible former First Lady of Zimbabwe and a bane on the nation’s economy. The world is in shock today after sources close to the Mugabe family confirmed that Grace Mugabe has filed for divorce on Wednesday. The South African born woman has voiced concerns over her role as the former First Lady of Zimbabwe, claiming that it’s about time she enjoys some peaceful life and she is not prepared to be ridiculed for the years ahead, her ostracism and her husband’s resignation as the leader of Zimbabwe have gradually grown into life threatening headache. “She’s been very upset ever since Mugabe gave up to hand over power to his ousted Vice-president,” said a source close to the family. “She wanted a role as a First Lady, not as a woman who acts as subordinate. She is also not prepared to leave her luxurious lifestyle to live in a home of captivity. She thinks that the decor is despicable and beyond repair.”- the source disclosed. Other reports claim that the key figure and the center of the ongoing Zimbabwean political crisis ‘Gucci Grace’ has filed for divorce on the alleged claims of eschewing any form of further embarrassment and disgrace that has already befallen on her family. Ex-Zimbabwe’s first lady, Grace Mugabe is divorcing her husband so she can free herself from public ridicules, the reports claim. Judiciary spokesman, Lawrence Brown has confirmed divorce proceedings were in motion and if both parties agree, they could go their separate ways in about a month. Throughout her husband’s presidency she had supervised the government’s poverty relief programmes and a strong force behind women’s affairs in ZANU-PF. Grace Mugabe had an affair with the married President when working as a secretary in his office. Mugabe’s first wife Sally died from . Four years later he married Grace in a Grace Mugabe has assumed an increasingly political role in recent years. Born in Benoni, South Africa, she became wedded to Robert in what was dubbed Zimbabwe’s “Wedding of the Century” following the death of the president’s first wife, Sally Hayfron after suffering kidney failure in 1992. The couple had two boys – Robert Jr, 25, and Chutunga, 21, – who have become “Playboys” flaunting their wealth and party exploits on social media. South African-born Grace, 52, is also legendary for her ostentatious living. So much so that’s she been dubbed “Gucci Grace” for her shopping as millions of Zimbabweans live in poverty. Grace recently sued a Lebanese gem dealer for failing to deliver a 100-carat diamond ring, worth more than £800,000. Her ambitions to take over from her ailing 93-year-old husband led to their demise, according to many observers and the sacking of popular vice-president Emmerson Mnangagwa appeared to have been the final straw. The New Statesman reports that things came to a head this week when General Constantino Chiwenga and ZANU-PF officials forced the Zimbabwean godfather to resign. Leading commentator on Zimbabwean politics Chris Mutsvangwa said: “It’s the end of a very painful and sad chapter in the history of a young nation, in which a dictator, as he became old, surrendered his court to a gang of thieves around his wife and tasting the bitterest part of separation in his marriage after 21-year fruitful https://zimbabwe-today.com/breaking-zimbabwes-first-lady-grace-mugabe-files-divorce-94-year-old-robert-mugabe/ Cc Lalasticlala Mynd44 Seun |

ATIKU MEETING WITH OBASANJO ... Obasanjo springs up from a seat in his expansive sitting room as soon as Atiku is ushered in. He smiles briefly and offers a handshake. Atiku throws himself at him for a hug. “Please, sit down. Good to see you again. I’m sorry I couldn’t give an earlier appointment. I’ve been travelling. The problem in Zimbabwe, Kenya and so many others. Anyway, what brings you this time?” “Baba, I thank you for your time, for receiving me despite your tight schedule. I won’t take much of your precious time sir. I bring peace. You’re our leader; our pillar. We do not think it will be wise to take any important step without informing you and carrying you along. In this country today, nobody can say you don’t count. You are not just an ordinary person; you’re an elder statesman. And…” Obasanjo cuts in, raising his right hand. “Please, go into the specific. What exactly do you want? That long introduction seems to be confusing. Straight to the point.” “Baba, I’m running and I wish to get your blessing.” Smiling, Obasanjo looks straight at Atiku, his visage betraying some incredulity. “You ’re running? Where to? Why? Is anybody pursuing you?” “No Baba. I’m planning to contest the presidency on the platform of our great party, the PDP. And I am honoured and privileged to be telling you this so that I can receive your blessing. Former President Jonathan and many other eminent Nigerians have advised me to visit you and settle whatever differences we may have. This is my mission sir.” “Hee he. Jonathan asked you to come here? Am I in their party? Please, I’m a statesman. I announced it that I’m no longer a politician. When I resigned from PDP or whatever they call themselves, I didn’t do corner corner o. I tore their card. So, if that boy, em…eeem…eeeem… Jona, is telling you to come and you’re coming here, is he sincere? I remain a farmer and a statesman. One million Atikus can’t change that whether they are running or walking or flying. I’m sorry, Mr Atiku.” “You seem to be getting it all wrong sir. I’m not asking you to come out of retirement and campaign for me. No. I’m only informing you and asking you to bless me so that I can succeed.” “Again, I’m not a politician. Are you listening? I’m too honest and frank to remain in that circle – of lies, backstabbing, intrigues and corruption. Deceit. No. I’m done. My politics now is Nigeria. Anybody who says Nigeria will not rise and move forward, I am ready to go konkobilo with that person. So, oga, that is my position.” “Baba, I salute your sincerity – and courage. You are not the type who will deceive anybody to score cheap political points. You’re blunt. There are many of us in the race. That is why I crave your endorsement. You must have an opinion on this important matter.” “Yes. I have heard that some of you are warming up. I’m not the type that fears. I have my opinion on each and everyone of you. The other boy (wetin be im name now o?). Obasanjo scratches it aggressively. He looks up and continues. “Makarfi. Yes; I hear he too wants to contest. I know he used to be governor of Kaduna. He was a senator. And now chairman of what they call Caretaker Committee. Hmmm… “Sule Lamido is my boy, but dem say he get baggage. And you know Buhari is a soldier. He will simply ambush him and that will be the end of the matter. “Buhari sef. I said so that he will not steal. He will fight corruption and jail all the thieves making noise and gallivanting all over the place. But Buhari may not do well in the economy. I said so. No be so?” “Baba, I thank you for your insight. The words of our elders… . Do I take it that I have your blessing to pick the PDP ticket for 2019?” Hmm…hmmmm…hmm (Obasanjo clears his thrioat). “PDP my foot. I don’t care who gets the PDP ticket. Dat one na dem toro. I’m not a member and I don’t plan to be one. Let them sell it or give it or dash it to whoever they like. Me o, Olusegun Aremu Okikiola Obasanjo, I don’t care. A statesman I will remain. I thank you for visiting.” A crowd of reporters and photographers have set up a camp outside the door. As Obasanjo and his guest emerge from the main house, they spring up onto their feet and rushed towards them. “Baba, good afternoon. How are you sir?” Obasanjo, smiling without showing his teeth:”I dey kampe, as you can see.” “How did the meeting go?” “Which meeting? No meeting o. You know Christmas will soon be here. The former VP came to wish me merry Christmas. Is anything wrong with that? And I wish you all Merry Christmas and a prosperous new year.” After a handshake with Obasanjo, Atiku walks briskly towards his car, adjusting his agbada. The reporters rush to catch up with him. “Sir, how did it go? Is it true you came to tell Baba to support your ambition? Did he promise to back you?” “Baba has spoken and that is all. I have no comments – for now. Have a nice day, my friends.” An aide opens the door. Atiku jumps in and the car rolls out Cc Lalasticlala Mynd44 Seun |
Finally, men can now breath some fresh air. A law that protects men who were deceived into marriage seems to have been existence without our knowledge. The law declares as null and void any marriage whereby the man was lured into through any of the following. I pray what I am thinking is not true. ISN COBRA and BUFFALO. Please which arm of the security agencies is that? This question is necessary because if these are vigilante groups, we may hear another side of this story very soon . I have heard stories of extra judicial killings and I hope this is not one of them. OP, you even told us the name of the leader of the team but failed to tell us who they wanted to kidnap and who made the call they claimed to have responded to. How were they proven to be kidnappers in the first place and how are we sure that apart from the two that are now dead, that others fled with bullet wounds? Finally, what efforts are being made to arrest the fleeing ones if true? |
PenlsCaP:Honestly I don't see any reason for this verbal war. The lady simply said that only God knows the real intent of the the smoking pot. You were rather too harsh in your comments about that post. I was actually thinking you would have been a gentleman and apologized when you noticed that she did not take kindly to it. okosodo:And what makes us better than them? Such a touching story of motherly love and sacrifice and all you could do is bring in tribal issues. At times, I wonder what kind of generation of youths we are leaving this Country in their hands. |
beejayphako:Posts such as this make me feel like weeping. Nigerians are doing great outside the shores of this Nation and because they are Igbos we are biased. Little wonder "see big snake caught by my trap" will make front page rather than a topic like this that will encourage our youths to work harder. Nigeria, I hail thee. |
This is just the beginning. When I wrote in some earlier threads that we should not allow people who have their families safely abroad to lead us into disaster, I was called names. Thank God our eyes are now opening gradually. |
While Nigeria Companies and multi-nationals operating in the Country are wasting scarce foreign exchange in employing expatriates from all over the world, Nigerians themselves are making waves the World over. The New Governor-electof America's State of New Jersy seems to appreciate the rare abilities of our own as he has just appointed four Nigerians into his cabinet. Amazingly, the four new appointees are all Igbos. See full list below: 1). Chief Sir Polly Ubah , to serve under: EDUCATION, ACCESS AND OPPORTUNITY 2). Chief Charles Ugo Eke , to serve under: GOVERNMENT, TECHNOLOGY AND INNOVATION 3). Chief Dr. Francis Owoh to serve under: ENVIRONMENT AND ENERGY 4). In a Country where people are quick to criticize simple mistakes and amplify failure, I just want to say "thank you to all that made the difference in the just concluded Anambra State Gubernatorial elections. This has become necessary because of several threats that preceded the said election by some unscrupulous agents of doom. Contrary to popular steretype however, the people of Anambra State, yesterday, proved that they are not cowards and can never be. At the apex of my gratitude therefore, are the good people of Anambra State who despite all odds have proved that elections 'can' and did 'hold' in the State. Thank you my people. Secondly, I want to thank the President and Commander in-chief of the Nigerian Armed Forces . Mr President sir, you promised us fair and credible election. The evidence of your promise is what we are today celebrating. May the good Lord continue to bless you. The Inspector-General of Police, sir, we were told to " go and vote and die" but you told us to "go and vote and live". I am a living testimony that we voted and are still alive. My heartfelt gratitude goes to you and all the security agencies that made this possible. Thank you sir. INEC, truly, the fear of PMB is the beginning of transparency. Who would have believed that despite all the pressure, that credible can indeed be credible. You might not know it but to me and a lot of people, yesterday, was like a litmus test and our confidence has been restored. Thank you so much while we pray that you maintain this commendable effort in future elections. To all others I did not mention, may God bless all of us. Thank you and thank you again and again. At last, Nigerian Civil/public servants may have gotten succour. An unconfirmed document making the rounds in the Military and Paramilitary sectors has shown that workers under the PENCOM contributory scheme can now assess 50% of their total contribution while still in service . There has been wide-spread excitement among contributors many of who have described it as the best thing to happen to Nigeria Workers in a long while. There is also the belief that this was the Pension Fund Administrators' (PFA)way of calming down the tension within the different contributory organizations who had wanted pulling out of the scheme. How true and effective this new development will turn out to be remains to be seen and felt. Cc Lalasticlala Mynd44

Yoruba culture we know , how they greet their elders is not a secret how much more their traditional rulers. But Nnamdi Kanu, who coronated him? Who made him the igwe of which Community? I am surprised that even after abandoning our other brothers in detention and causing the death of our young men and abandoning his so called worshippers, that there is still someone out there defending his excesses |

At a time the South Eastern State of Imo is busy honouring people who have in no way contributed anything meaningful to the people of the State, the Old Boys of Eziachi Secondary School Orlu ( ESSO) have decided to honour one of their own, 36 years after leaving School. The group under the name, Eziachi Secondary School Orlu Old Boys Association (ESSOBA), has decided to concretise the efforts of the then Achike Udenwa led Administration which in 2003/2004 deemed it necessary to immortalise the name of the football legend, Sam Okwaraji for his immense contribution to the Nation. It will be recalled that this group 'ESSOBA' during that land -mark event had with the assistance of the then Hon Commissioner for Youths and Sports, Brr Chukwuma Ekomaru , granted a Press Conference about the life and achievements of the late football legend. Addressing Press men at the occasion, chief Nnaemka Iheagwu and flight engr Silas Ohawuchi who led a team of other distinguished members of the Association had extolled the qualities of the late Dr Sam Sochukwuma Okwaraji and thanked the State Government for honouring him. In a recent development, the Association has unveiled plans to remember this fallen hero and other members who have excelled in their different chosen careers. Speaking during a condolence visit by the Association to the family of another fallen hero, Mr Festus Ogbuokiri at Eziachi Orlu in Imo State, the leader of the delegation, Brr Vin Onyeka made this known and added that the Association has also decided to bring succour to their Alma mater-ESSO. He lamented the poor infrastructural state of the school that once held sway in the whole of the State and beyond. He further revealed that the Association has unanimously agreed to take urgent steps to address this important issue. In a related development, Chief Sam Okpe has commended the efforts of the Association and called their intervention 'timely' . He wondered why a great school like ESSO that has produced captains of Industry, Professors, medical gurus, engineers and different professionals will be allowed to rot away and challenged the Brr. Onyeka team to prove that they are worth the trust of the members Cc Lalasticlala Mynd44
