What a shame! What a bigger shame too that someone will want to defend this inhuman action from a Senator of the Federal Republic who in a sane society should be above board. I still remember seeing a publication of the British Prime Minister taking a ride in a public bus. What is really wrong with us? I, on behalf of all electorates, the Country over, demand an unreserved apology from the honorable Senator if this truly happened or a public denial of the incident to be published in at least three National Newspapers. We should learn to start asking for explanations in this Country. After all, we are the ones that voted them in there for crying out loud. |
Thanks for sharing these tips. I have honestly continued to wonder how one can make money from freelancing. My posts often make fp on some blogs with over 50k views most of the time. I wonder if there's no way I can make some money from such articles. Now to another serious issue. Please how do I go about blogging? I have this idea that is totally different from entertainment, celebrity and the normal issues but I really do not have an idea about how to proceed. Forgive my ignorance please, online stuff is really new to my generation. |
The embassies or high commission of any Country in another Country, enjoys the rights and privileges of it's parent Country. This is to say for instance, that the American embassies in Lagos and Abuja are assumed by law to be America. Likewise, the vessels or aircrafts of any Country enjoys the same rights and privileges. However, since citizenship regulations vary from Country to Country, the citizenship of the child in question is subject to the Immigration laws of the Country of disembarkation ordinarily, he would have acquired the citizenship of the Country that owns the flight where in it was born as would be the case if delivered on an American owned flight. |
ignis:I don't agree with you. The OP said he fell sick shortly before he was to appear in court for the case in question. I see the sickness as a warning not to appear in court . However, ignoring that warning led to paying the ultimate price. The story is well balanced to my thinking. |
A new Commissioner of Police has taken over the the mantle of leadership at the Delta State Command of the Nigeria Police force, Asaba. The athletic young man , fresh from the National Institute for Management and Strategic Studies, Kuru, Jos is Mr Mohammed A Mustafa (mni). He has since resumed duties and is presently on courtesy visits to sister agencies and government parastatals in Delta State. Today, Jan 25th 2018, while on courtesy visit to his counterpart in the Nigeria Immigration Service, Mr Baba Zakari Ali, Mr Mustapha inspected the quarter guard mounted in his honor at the Immigration State Hqts, Ibuzor road Asaba. This was followed by a closed door meeting with the Comptroller and his unit heads. It was reliably gathered that their discussions centered on working synergy between the two sister agencies. This , according to the top bosses will further enhance the overall performance of the operatives of the two sister agencies thereby, making Delta State a safer place for all law-abiding citizens. Following the recent promotion of officers and men of the Nigeria Immigration Service, a formal decoration of affected officers from the rank of Comptrollers to Asst Comptrollers General took place today at the Service headquarters, Suaka Village Abuja. The grand and colourful ceremony started with rehearsals yesterday, the 23rd of Jan 2018. A circular signed by the Deputy Comptroller General (HRM), Y.D. INUSA, on behalf of the CGIS, says that the ceremony will be rounded off with a two days induction of the new Immigration big bosses. Earlier, in a brief speech, the Comptroller-general of Immigration Service, Mr Muhammad Babandede MFR had congratulated the newly promoted officers and reminded them that their promotion is the Government's appreciation of their dedication to duty and charged them to put extra effort to duty because 'to whom much is given, much is expected'. It should be recalled that the Service over the weekend, promoted several hundreds of it's officers and men.

Late Chief Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, the Ikemba Nnewi is a name that will continue to send shivers down the spine of haters. I stand by this, not as an Igbo because I hate tribalism with a passion but because he paid his dues and Nigeria's history will never be complete without that name. However, if my memory is not failing me, I wonder if the presence of the Army made his burial a 'State burial' even when it was more than one. If I recall vividly, Senator Andy Uba moved a motion to honour the late Ikemba with a State burial but was turned down on the grounds of some flimsy excuses. Guess that was when the then Eastern Governors and well wishers took over the burden of according him a befitting burial. Please forgive me and correct me if I am wrong while I pass on any rude reply. |
I have heard that everyone has three other people elsewhere that look exactly like him or her and that there is every chance of meeting at least one of such people in a lifetime. I have always taken this with a pint of salt until I ran into ex-President Obasanjo's look-alike somewhere in Delta State. I apologize for the poor quality of pictures . https://news.bbc.co.uk/media/images/38554000/jpg/_38554673_obasanjo238.jpg

graciamore:You might be right sir but I witnessed this. Has it ever crossed your mind that this poor woman might have read same story (if true) and decided to learn from it? |
BuddhaPalm:Maybe, this particular lady learnt from the same story you read. Guess what bro? It's not nice calling someone a liar. |
HOLYDICK:Sounds really weird. Wouldn't have believed it myself if not that I watched this too strange to be true drama play out in a popular joint in Warri. |
Really, women don't need to scream or create a scene at every given opportunity. I had this great experience recently. Please read; I was hanging out with my friends yesterday evening , so we ordered for fresh fish and drinks, the next person beside us came in with his girlfriend and ordered drinks and fish too. They were drinking and holding their hands together, the lady was resting on the guys shoulder. Apparently, they were having fun. However, their joy was short lived because, before we knew it, a woman walked in with a baby not more than 4 months old. She quietly pulled up and joined the table of the two love birds. It was a moment to behold as the young girl looked surprised and angry at the same time obviously not impressed with the fact that someone came to invade their privacy. The man on the other hand was so quiet and looked totally confused. Then the woman called the Bar attendant "please give me a bottle of malt and Fresh fish" and they served her. At this point, her baby started crying and she fed her and continued eating obviously enjoying every moment. Not done with whatever game she was playing, she further ordered for two fresh fish (point and kill), they told her its #1500 each she said she needed two of the fish and ordered for Isi-ewu 3 full mortar, they did and packaged all for her. Finally with a wry smile playing on her beautiful but sweaty face, she now ordered for 7 cans of malt which they also gave her. All these while, the man was kind of scared for the woman not to create a Scene at the joint, while the girl he came with was no longer comfortable. Satisfied, the woman now stood up to leave with her loot and no one would have been the wiser if the bar the man had not walked up to her and said , "Please madam your money" That was when the bubble bursted as she blurted out "My husband here will pay". She quietly dropped her baby on the man's laps and went off with her Goodies. The silence that followed was breathtaking. Surprisingly, immediately the woman, several other men quickly paid their bills and left as if expecting their own wives to turn up too. Men! Abeg, who do us this thing? |
theDEVILisHERE:Thank you sir |
Angry husband is in hospital and the adulterer is in prison custody, so what about the woman that caused it all? Was it really worth it? |
soberdrunk:Really? Spoon feed a grown man at the expense of his family? What really are you thinking? Have you not heard that "a man shall leave his father and mother and him and his wife shall become one?" Stop kidding, this is not about grammar but reality. Your immediate family is all that you have got, trust me. |
Try your school's 'old boys' association naa. |

Pataricatering:You have been watching too much of "Criminal Minds" by the BAU, Quantico . God is real and spirituality is not contestable. |
Amberon:That was rather harsh but I honestly thought that the post would have made fp. Apart from enlightening us more, it would have maybe redirected our minds to finding reasonable solutions to this problem. |
Our experts and human knowledge have apparently failed us so far in nipping this issue in the bud. Lives have been lost and still being lost almost on a daily basis. I therefore think that it is high time , we looked at what God says concerning Open Grazing. Who knows, we might still have a few of our leaders who still have the fear of God in them and will harken to the voice of the Lord in putting an end to this dilemma that we have found ourselves in. May God grant us knowledge. . Exo 22:5 "If a man grazes his livestock in a field or vineyard and lets them stray and they graze in another man's field, he must make restitution from the best of his own field or vineyard. evexx1:Even he is up to 50years, it's still a crime in Nigeria. Be well guided please |
Beautiful but past experiences have shown that at this age, they usually die same day or just almost at such a short interval. One like that in my village died same day.The man in the morning and the wwoman in the evening. Even when they had separate rooms, she sensed the husband's death without being informed. |
Did you say that the person who wrote that piece is Senior special Assistant to a Governor on Media? Chai, when there are English and Mass Communication graduates looking for jobs in Bayelsa. What a pity. |
Bede2u:I would have agreed with you intoto if FFK was not in that meeting. |
This hand-shake is over due but, but, I mean but... having FFK in that meeting smirks of confusion, hidden agenda and total betrayal. Mark my words. |
Sprucekhalifa:Hmmm |
Nairalanders, for starters, I am a believing Christian and by God's grace will remain such till I die. However, I believe that this letter should teach all of us some lessons on how to live in peace with one another. Note that I however, do not agree with the first paragraph because I am a citizen of Christ . Matured comments please. LETTER OF COVENANT WRITTEN BY PROPHET MUHAMMAD (PBUH) TO ALL CHRISTIANS. “This is a message from Muhammad ibn Abdullah, as a covenant to those who adopt Christianity, near and far, we are with them. Verily, I, the servants, the helpers, and my followers defend them, because Christians are my citizens; and by Allah! I hold out against anything that displeases them. No compulsion is to be on them. Neither are their judges to be removed from their jobs nor their monks from their monasteries. No one is to destroy a house of their religion, to damage it, or to carry anything from it to the Muslims’ houses. Should anyone take any of these, he would spoil God’s covenant and disobey His Prophet. Verily, they are my allies and have my secure charter against all that they hate. No one is to force them to travel or to oblige them to fight. The Muslims are to fight for them. If a female Christian is married to a Muslim, it is not to take place without her approval. She is not to be prevented from visiting her church to pray. Their churches are to be respected. They are neither to be prevented from repairing them nor the sacredness of their covenants. No one of the nation (Muslims) is to disobey the covenant till the Last Day (end of the world).” CUPS Remarks: The original covenant letter is now in the Topkapi Museum in Instanbul, Turkey. We at CUPS decided to publish it in the pursuit of peace for our beloved country and also to show solidarity with his Royal Highness, the Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, who paid for the rebuilding of a destroyed Church by ignorant Muslim zealots during a community riot in Rogo LGA of Kano state. May the Almighty God enlighten our people with the true understanding of both Islam and Christianity, so that we can have religious tolerance, mutual respect for each other, and for peace and prosperity to prevail across our country. Amen. Dr. Idris Ahmed. CUPS. 28/12/2015. |
The monies looted by the past administration would have been enough to train millions of our youths in so many endeavors like this and still import and install the relevant machines. |
Obviously, looking good is a must thing for everyone especially women. Obviously too, it's not everyone that is naturally endowed exactly in the right places hence the invention of push-up bras, fake busts and even fake ass tights. However, to achieve the desired effect in our appearances, we have often resorted to purchasing a few second- handed clothings because of our limited finances to make up for our important needs. It's no secret that women are the worse 'offenders' in this. However, these second-handed clothes sometimes are packaged with stuffs that will at least give them an acceptable scent. Some of these can be seriously harmful. In the following pictures, please see what I assume should be camfor has done to a woman's breast because of second-handed bra. Cc Lalasticlala

Hotshawarma:I tire. When you don't send, Buhari is not saying anything because the herdsmen are his brothers, when you send, he is sending them to kill the indigenes and protect his brothers |
