Seeing paraphernalia of office gradually shifting to someone else is something only few of the very strong can handle. Our dear hero with all his good intentions is however not a champion in the field of strength. Besides, it's possible the sycophants around him are still injecting him with doses of Orubebecine. |
ideologies:My dear, this is not about GEJ. THIS IS ABOUT THOSE WHO HIDE UNDER GEJ TO PERPETRATE EVIL. You won't understand but every Nigerian youth seeking employment deserves a fair chance and not being conveniently turned into an unsuspecting actor in well rehearsed script. But like I said you wouldn't understand |
Your attempt at image laundering is so poor that even a fool cannot be convinced. On what you think about GMB, I really don't care because if after you people called him 'dead brain', he still won the elections, what else can you say that will be more derogatory! Change is here to stay and we are waiting and watching |
In as much as I don’t want to dampen your spirit, read the following and see why this recruitment might be illegal and a futile effort after May 29th : APC Warns Against Last - minute Looting, THE PUNCH ........ ”Also, there have been reports, yet to be refuted, of a planned, hurried recruitment into the Nigeria Immigration Service, after a previous attempt ended in a national tragedy and the fleecing of innocent job seekers by the mindless Federal Government officials. Apart from the fact that this last-minute recruitment is suspect, it is irregular. ”The Civil Defence, Fire, Immigration and Prisons Services Board is only empowered to recruit, promote and discipline only senior officers (Levels 8 and above). The power to recruit, promote and discipline junior officers is vested in the different services, in this case, the Nigeria Immigration Service. ”Therefore, the recruitment exercise now being conducted by the Federal Civil Service, under the auspices of the Presidential Committee to Assist on Immigration Recruitment, usurps the functions of the Board as it relates to recruitment of Senior Officers (Level 08) and that of the Immigration Service as it relates to Junior Officers (levels 07 and below).” |
Decided to share my experience because in our days, it was totally different from what it is today. First, instead of today's ' chancing' you simply had to be good in sports preferably football, debating and dramatic society just to get noticed. Where you are not blessed in any of these, being a good dancer during inter school functions could be helpful. Secondly, unlike today's 'copy and paste', we spent days and nights improving our handwriting and learning big English words to be able to impress our intended girlfriends through beautiful and well written love letters . I still remember my first vividly. It was during an Inter schools' debate hosted by Ihioma girls. I was on the opposing side with late Sam Okwaraji ( super eagles) and one other. She was the lead speaker of Proposing side and seemed so sure of her exquisite features. Unfortunately, both I and Wasky (Sam) got attracted to her. To cut the long story short, we were both busy trying to impress the girl that we lost the debate. Finally, when we got the chance to talk with her, we were both too tongue-tied to even say a word. Anyway, those were the days before women threw the beautiful and revered dignity of womanhood to the dogs. |
quickly:Unfortunately no Igbo man /woman can ever be an Immigrant in any part of Nigeria. Mtchewee |
tayebest:Igbos resourcefulness and intelligence you meant to say? Wonder when you guys would break free from the shackles of inferiority complex and let the Igbos be. Gara Gara my foot! |
Good info |
Kudos to the JTF, Wether Chibok girls or not, tthe important thing is that 200 Nigerians (girls) held against their wish by BH have been rescued. |
Being a native of Akwa Ibom where dog meat is a delicacy, he should have known better. Naturally dogs are hostile to people who eat dog meat. Anyway, wishing you a quick recovery |
No more protection? The beauty of change |
I honestly think that the Caption should be 'Photos of a Nairalanders palm fruits' I no see any oil mill joor |
Been a true follower of Andy for years but just wondering if anything good can come out of Nazareth (uga) Ikpeazu abeg watch it |
What a joker. No one and I repeat no one can lure the Igbos into any form of war again. Where was Asari when Ikemba Odumegwu Ojukwu and the rest of us fought for what we believed in? Where was he even for the past six years that he was enjoying juicy contracts? Is it now that he suddenly remembered that there is MASSOB? Anyway, we see this Country working again, all we need now is to support the incoming administration and not any form of distraction from anyone least of all Asari. |
The main reason is because MEN have wives but women do not. |
vheMa:Even you? |
This is not in the least surprising. Some women actually have their brains in between their legs. A full blooded Igbo girl from Anambra State, tufiakwa!!! |
Of course the Mopol were to blame. The Government ordered closure of the borders and knowing that there were bound to be exceptional cases, deployed men of the Mopol there to enforce the order using their discretion. How well or otherwise this discretion was used speaks volumes of the leadership capabilities of the Unit Commander which obviously is not so good in this particular case. |
The game is on |
With the paint on the walls peeling and the house built right under high tension wires it's obvious that their problem is NOT affluence but stupidly |
I sincerely hope that as from May 29th, this act of legalising illegality in this Country will end. Did the ambassador receive him as the Exterior Minister or what? On what capacity did he address Nigerians? Massob, MEND etc, it's your turn abeg |
Guy, if you have a land cruiser down there instead of a keke with two deflated tyres, why should you care what Chidimma had seen |
My dear, that is classified information and not meant for pages of Nairaland where even some xenophobic South Africans have invaded. Hopefully, one day soon, Nairaland, will have provision for inbox |
Shortcomings of jungle justice. Did they get detailed information about the other fleeing members of the robbery gang before setting him ablaze? |
You know, when I started reading your article, I though I was I reading from a rational human bein , little did I know that you are just one of the very scums of the Earth. Calling Nigeria and Nigerians names, I can take from anyone but not from a South African. It's obvious that you are either too young or so daft you don't even read 'history' else you won't call a Country that spent billions of dollars to save you and your Country from the evil clutches of apartheid names. Have you asked yourself why drug business thrives in your country. The reason is simple! Quite unlike Nigerians, your people are drug addicts. Again, you said we lure your women into prostitution. This is a laugh because it's a known fact that just like their male counterparts, your women are lazy and could only survive through prostitution. Stupidly, you likened Xenophobia to Boko Haram, what a shame! May I remind you that BH is an internal problem and contrary to your shallow knowledge, even the outgoing government has wiped over 75% of Boko Haram out already. It is heart breaking that Nigeria and Nigerians have continued to play big brother to some African Countries that are better described as ungrateful. Finally, it's important that you know that before the emergence of Shoprite and MTN in Nigeria, our people were not dying of hunger. You can as well tell your people to remember that no one Country has the monopoly of violence. |
ZKOSOSO:Why do we still have so much bitterness against one another. Why call a part of our own Country CURSED? Is it not high time we learnt to make our points without ridiculing or hurting one another? Obviously, there are some issues that we need to address but that can be done with love. The all knowing God must have his reasons for making us all one Nation! When will we stop resisting God! |
Maybe I am getting too old to understand but please someone should enlighten me on the choice of shoes for the clothe he is wearing. Is that part of color blasting or what? |
In a Country where about 75% of the marriageable young men are unemployed, who do you expect to marry the young girls? Honestly, can't wait for May 29th |
Good sign of promises that will be kept I may not be a Prophet but I see this Nation rising up to glory again. |
I absolutely don't see anything wrong in his working in such a place. Alcohol is not poison. The Bible in which his faith is built does not in any way condemn alcohol but taking it in excess. Remind him that " worse than an infidel is he that cannot provide for his family". Maybe, that will jolt him out of his comfort zone and make him go the job without further delay |
