What is all this talk about APC fighting APC rather than hailing PMB and APC? Is this not a clear indication that PMB is committed to fighting corruption without minding your name, ethnicity, party or position? |
Ola17:There is a law already in place against employing anyone under 18 yrs in any form whether paid or unpaid. However, our level of enlightenment and the fact that even lawyers run foul of this law has continued to downplay it's relevance |
Still the PMB that I know. If Saraki were to be Ibo, my brothers and sisters in Nairaland would have been spitting fire and screaming Northern Agenda by now. This is a dream coming true. A Nigeria where your ethnicity and position do not determine how you are treated by the laws of the land. Heard that some people are now even rejecting Ministerial appointments. Sanity is indeed returning gradually. |
I only commended you for understanding my signature, unlike some guys... Besides who is David [/quoteFreeman David |
misspicy:Hmmm, did I detect sarcasm? Please dear, I only appreciated your witty reply obviously to the guy 'David'. Do forgive me if I ventured into sacred turf |
misspicy:Lol, very witty. It's actually baffling that those who do not even own a bronze mine are always first to call a girl gold digger |
Man : Tonto, I paid through my nose to get the organizers have me seat next to you, so liven up Tonto : Too bad because this is a brand new Tonto who is married and intends to stay married. My new dress sense should give you a message. Abeg fly. |
Send the name and address of the Company where this garlic stinking egg head works to the nearest Immigration Office. His likes that ridicule our Nation at the slightest opportunity should be shown the way out |
It's an amazing experience. Been there three times and that was eight years ago. Try it and you will forever appreciate your woman and women generally despite their diarrhea infected mouths. Little wonder I can hardly imagine putting my wife through it the fourth time. |
Happy birthday dear. Posting decent pictures at a time when our actresses think flaunting boobs and asses is the Vogue is commendable. You have indeed earned my respect. May the good Lord to whom you have ascribed your success continue to lift and bless you. Happy birthday daughter of Zion |
That's roughly One Billion, seventy million and several hundreds of thousands of Naira yet there are poverty stricken people in his home town |
First Lady by my own dictionary is defined as 1. The wife of a chief executive and 2. The leading woman in an art or profession. This is contrary to what some Nairalanders claim. Now, there is a world of difference between that and the 'wife of the President' Simply explained, 1.' Being opportuned to be the wife of the President does not make you' First Lady ' 2. As such, you are not entitled to have tax payers money allocated to you to roam the whole World aimlessly 3. You do not arrogate unnecessary powers to yourself like questioning the Principal and Staff of the school of the Chibok girls and embarrassing the Nation with your fake tears and diaris GOT OOO (NOT GOD ook) 4. I rest my case |
Wow, wonder what some of my fellow Igbos will NOT do just for PUBLICITY AND POSSIBLE GAINS. |
Let's assume the casket of heart surgeon will be heart shaped so what will be the shape of the casket of a gynecologist? |
WIZGUY69:Surprised at you and more surprised that someone even ĺiked your so called comment. The post said that the theft took place in one of the towns in the South Eastern States. DID THE POST SAY THE THIEVES ARE IBOS? Why do we find it convenient to ridicule each other's tribe at the slightest opportunity? |
The Police can keep silentall they want. With PMB as the one at Aso Villa, justice must take it's course even if it's the Governor himself that is found culpable. |
PunkyVeer:Woooooooooooooooow, that's a super woman. Thumbs up dearie, you are the bomb |
PunkyVeer:Amazing. Must say girls of your makeup are rare to find these days. 97% will drop the guy faster than a bag of rotten meat. Hope he noticed and appreciated the hidden qualities. |
PunkyVeer:Guess you never went for a second ride |
Who goes to market to buy soup ingredients with a team of camera men and Reporters? Enough of the make believe joor |
Due process? Of what? This is absolute rubbish and the governor and his advisers should go and hide their faces in shame. If the issues raised in the 'comprehension' are true, the government should have reacted by positively addressing them in the form of proferring solutions and not their cowardly action of sacking the officials. Any government that is too full of itself that it does not welcome positive criticisms is definitely headed to the rocks. |
Waskey Pele, that was the name that became a household name in Orlu following your escapades in football. The same name followed you when you came 3rd in the Country in the then Omo table tennis championship. At Orlu Zonal level, you emerged tops also in boxing tournaments. I still remember vividly your expertise in goal keeping as you were always at hand to coach Agundu our junior goalkeeper those good old days. Sam Okwaraji, there is a lot the World do not know about you and your talents. Long before you became known, you had been the sparkling diamond of ESSO. We are proud of the present Leadership of NFF that has deemed it fit to remember you. We join them and other well meaning Nigerians and your numerous fans all over the world to say Rest in peace. |
You have not read the law... That is the law the senate passed.....and as you can see...the man is in trobule. Source: https://www.nairaland.com/2397220/what-misread-sexual-offences-bill#35032320 [/quote Thank you immensely for the clarification. Guess I got it twisted |
There is always a chain reaction to everything. When the 7th Senate hurriedly passed over forty-six laws within hours, they were more interested in laws that will favor them without thinking of the common man. Since the passage of the bill of 13 years as the official benchmark for girls to have sex, the spate of sexual abuse in the Country has known no bounds. With their daughters safely taken away to Countries like the USA where it is unthinkable to have any sexual relationship with any girl less than 18 years they selfishly passed that inhuman bill. Until that bill is reversed, the sexual harassment and rape of these innocent Minors will continue. |
If I wowo like her, maybe I would. |
This is not entirely correct sir. Before Suleiman is the fifteen year old Kimberly Anyadike from Anambra State who is believed by CNN to be the youngest black pilot the World over |
What is this man saying? Trying to drum up support from Nairaland? You just misfired. Here we are on the average, men and women with our own minds. Personally I think Sahara Reporters should be praised for their balanced reports. They have never been known to blindly support anyone not even PMB whom it appeared they campaigned for. With your first class in law and supposed experience you should be looking for ways to support the positive change going on in Nigeria now and not fighting Sahara Reporters. Anyway why telling us? Am sure that Sahara Reporters will be glad to see you in court. |
CFCfan:Please I will like to know your source about point C because up to close of work today letters of consent from fathers is still mandatory for Minors to be issued with passports. I honestly hope you are not confusing Minors with the case of Niger wives. Niger wives are foreign women married to Nigerians. Though not entitled to Nigerian passports, these women took the Nigeria Immigration Service to court for demanding letter of consent from husbands before their wives could be issued passports. They contended that if husbands should give their wives letters of consent that their wives should also give them letters of consent before they (husbands) should be issued passports. The Federal Court granted their prayer. This is a forum where different classes of people get information, it is therefore pertinent that any information given must be accurate |
Why didn't they appoint her in the chop I chop, sorry GEJ dispensation, why now that many Commissioners and Ministers are most likely toend their tenure in jail ? Ewooo, sorry dear. Or where you expecting a Congratulations? |
insure1:This is a very good and often asked question. You can actually complete all necessary application and payment online but you must appear before a Passport Control Officer in your Passport office of choice for 'capturing', production and collection. During this time, the applicant undergoes one on one interview with a screening officer to establish : A) That he/she is a Nigerian B) That he /she is not a public charge and not likely to be one C) That the applicant has the father's consent to obtain a Passport where the applicant is a minor D) Others It is during this interview that your documents come into play. Hope I tried to answer your question sir |
I deem it necessary to throw more light on this since I am obviously opportuned to be better informed than the writer. Having said that , there are two official prices of the e-passport in Nigeria. This can be confirmed from the Nigeria Immigration portal : There are two main payment platforms for the E passport namely a) pay arena and b) Pay 4 me and these are the official prices inclusive bank commission and the newly introduced address verification fee ; PAY ARENA ; 1. Minors below 18 years and senior citizens above 60 years =N11225 2. All others = N17300 while this is N17600 in Pay 4 me 3. Then the new 64 pages for frequent travellers = N22300 with pay arena and 22700with pay 4 me You should however note that these payments are made online and where you refuse to do it yourself, someone might offer to do it for you for a fee. Be sides, the print out that comes after the capturing of the applicant's image and data gives you the date you should go for the collection of your passport. However, most Nigerians love to cut corners and want to collect the passport same day thereby creating room for possible additional charges. |
Unfortunately you were wrong. Very wrong. You were the perfect mugu like I was once. The friend's call and her coming coupled with the order for food was a perfect ploy to get you mad and it perfectly worked out. All they needed was the payment for the room which is a base from where to operate. If only you have had the patience to go back later after a while, you would have been shocked to see your angelic girls digging it from room to room with the assistance of the front desk (reception) that will willingly give out room numbers that are occupied by single men. Welcome to the club of one time mugus |
