An Ugly person will always be ugly.  smiley The highest your money can do is to "make her face fresh" (pimple-free and glowing skin). Packing make-up on her face will probably help, but at the end of the day, it's only temporary.

These village girls you're talking about have always been beautiful. The make-up is only "enhancing" their beauty.
Hey my friend, except that woman has a major deformity, she can be beautiful. It is a medical fact.

Check out Ronaldinho before his tooth surgery and compare with his recent picture.

The first time i met Matse Uwatse( 95.1 WAZOBIA FM) to me she is ugly,  but today the picture is different.

Some women just need little touching, and they will look better.

Ever read "Taming the shrew" ?

if you're ugly, that's it. Manners were meant to be learnt that's why no one was born with it!
Not true,

I can show you pictures of ugly women turned beauty.

So it is possible for an ugly women to become beautiful, except she has a major deformity.

But you can never change the manner/behavior/attitude of a grown woman.

She might pretend to adjust for a while, but she will always go back to her old ways.

That is way married peeps always complain about their partners, because they fail to see the real/original person.

No matter the grievance on the part of the woman 15yrs is too much to stay away from her matrimonial home that has produced 4 children. The man should proceed to get married, I am just annoyed why the man brought God into this issue, may be just lack of self confidence to confront his fears.

He does not need to bring GOD into the issue.

I will choose a beautiful ill-mannered lady anyday over an ugly duckling who has manners. You can at least mold the beautiful lady into a well-mannered lady, but you cannot mold that ugly-duckling into beautiful lady. Besides, what guarantees that the ugly lady will not change her manners once you get married. With a beautiful lady, at least you have some eye candy to look at, and you don't have to pop viagra to get excited when it is time to get to business. With an ugly lady, you will probably have to take an overdose of viagra or think about a beautiful lady just to get your "Uncle John" to stand at attention.

Ugly women spoil your mood, bring you bad luck, and for me it is not just worth the stress. That is why so many Nigerian men who marry all these ugly Naija chicks because they cook efo riro and jollof rice cheat at an unreasonable rate, as they are out there looking for a beautiful woman with whom to have a good time. If you have a beautiful woman at home, you don't have to be constantly in the streets. All my friends who married ugly girls are always at nightclubs looking for a fine akata chick; just all the ones who married beautiful women always want to stay at home, claiming there is nothing out there in the streets. I will die a bachelor than marry an ugly woman. God forbid bad thing.
You are wrong my friend.

You can change the looks of a women(if you have money), but you can never change a woman's manner.

I have seen ugly women turn beauty its all about good make-up and carriage.

Come to Lagos and see ugly village girls turn beauty queen.

So i will good for An Ugly woman With Perfect Manners.

Na small money i go spend to tosh am up. grin grin grin

If she was abused by her husband why didn't she go to court and get a divorce.

She was even invited by the court, yes she stayed away.

Since she is enjoying her 15years leave, she can also kiss the marriage goodbye.

President Jonathan hails Hyundai decision to build multi-billion dollar shipyard at Brass
Sep 15, 2011, 17:40

President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has said that his administration will continue to vigorously implement socio-economic and security reforms that will encourage more foreign investors to come to Nigeria.

Speaking at an audience with Mr. Jai-Seong Lee, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Hyundai Heavy Industries of South Korea, at the State House on Thursday, September 15, President Jonathan said that the Federal Government fully realizes the importance of greater foreign investment for Nigeria’s efforts to generate more employment for its youthful population.

The President said that his administration will, therefore, continue to do everything possible to attract more investors to labour-intensive sectors of the Nigerian economy.

He welcomed the decision by Hyundai Heavy Industries to establish a multi-billion dollar shipyard at Brass, Bayelsa state, noting that its completion next year will significantly boost Nigeria’s economic development and create plenty of jobs for the local population.

“Hyundai has a long-standing relationship with Nigeria. You have always played a key role in our economy, especially our oil industry. We appreciate what you have done and are elated by your latest investment in the Shipyard at Brass,” President Jonathan told Mr. Lee.

He assured him that relevant government ministries and agencies will give Hyundai all necessary support to ensure that the shipyard is completed on schedule.

Mr. Lee was accompanied by the Bayelsa State Governor, Chief Timipre Sylva and other Hyundai executives.

He told the President that on completion, the first phase of the Brass Shipyard will provide employment for at least 2,000 Nigerians.

Hyundai statement
Hyundai Heavy says not building Nigerian shipyard
Associated Press, 09.16.11, 07:03 AM EDT

SEOUL, South Korea -- Hyundai Heavy Industries Co. is denying a statement from Nigeria's presidential office that it plans to build a multibillion dollar shipyard in the country.

Hyundai Heavy spokesman Kim Moon-ju said Friday that the company has no such plan.
A statement late Thursday from President Goodluck Jonathan's office said the shipyard would be built in Brass in Bayelsa state, his home region.

Kim said that Hyundai Heavy President Lee Jai-seong made no such comment during a trip to the country. Kim said the company is building a small pipe-manufacturing factory in Bayelsa.

Nigeria, Africa's most populous nation, faces crushing unemployment and poverty. The government has promised other projects in the past that failed to materialize.

Jonathan Responds: “South Korea’s Hyundai Heavy Says Not Building Nigerian Shipyard”

September 17, 2011 - 20:20 — siteadmin

My attention has been drawn to a story in today’s edition of the online version of The Washington Post  entitled “South Korea’s Hyundai Heavy says not building Nigerian Shipyard”. It is therefore pertinent to clarify the following:

1.   The President of Hyundai Heavy was accompanied to the Aso Rock Presidential Villa on a courtesy call on President Goodluck Jonathan by the Governor of Bayelsa state and a consultant to Hyundai Heavy,  Otunba Ayo Oduntan.

2.   The Governor of Bayelsa as well as the consultant for the project spoke on behalf of the President of Hyundai Heavy who subsequently made a short speech.

3.   The Governor and the project consultant spoke of a multi-billion dollar ship yard and presented a prototype of the proposed project to President Jonathan. Since they made these statements in the presence of the Hyundai Heavy officials, who did not rebut them, the President and his aides present had no reason to disbelieve them.

 4.  The President of Hyundai Heavy Industries himself later gave an interview while still within the Presidential villa to a Reuters correspondent and affirmed the statement made by the Governor and chief Ayo Oduntan as follows "My company is going to (sic) $7billion dollars in Nigeria in the building of a shipyard" (see http://af.reuters.com/article/investingNews/idAFJOE78E0LU20110915)

In conclusion, it is wrong and indeed mischievous to have quoted the President or his office as the author of the statement that Hyundai Heavy planned to build a multi-billion dollar ship yard. These statements were the reported statements of the Governor of Bayelsa State and the project consultant who were responsible for bringing the President of Hyundai Heavy Industries to pay a courtesy call on President Jonathan.

I trust that this clarification will put to rest any issues arising from this matter as the Federal Republic of Nigeria and President Goodluck  Jonathan are desirous of opening up Nigeria to genuine Foreign Direct Investment and welcome any investment that Hyundai Heavy Industries decides to make in Nigeria.

@Dayo,

I don't really know why some men fall for these modern day tricks created by women.

Example: I saw a pregnant women hitting and slapping a huge man the Ikoyi, "shouting you go kill me today".

But fact is that she knows she can never overpower that man,she just wanted him to hit her back in other to attract sympathy.

Some women will start the trouble and they will end up playing the victim.

I always advice my pals never to fall for this games.

Whenever a woman brings her wahala just leave the scene for her.

Don't get it twisted - people came down hard on you when you started making ridiculous comparisons between spending money and taking care of a baby and intimate relations. Anyone who equates such things is liable to be called some unsavoury names. Real women will NEVER equate such things.

If you recognised you made an error and acknowledged it, then people would move on.

No one is against mutual assistance, but that is clearly not what this thread is about - the girl is talking SOLELY about collecting money from the guy, not seeking ways to mutually assist each other.

Again, you are either an immature, naive person or just talking about things you simply do not know about.

It's like someone saying if you don't engage in intimate relations at the beginning of a relationship, the marriage won't be any different.  undecided

This is completely untrue - the fact that you do not spend at the beginning doesn't indicate anything automatically. It all depends on the reason behind your not spending.
If you are avoiding spending in order to build the relationship properly on the PEOPLE involved and avoid the distractions of money, then there is every reason., after the relationship is well established, that spending money will happen.

Let me also say this - there are NUMEROUS examples of men spending money, moving heaven and earth just to woo a woman, and once they have her in marriage, they just shut down completely, and stop spending. It will be utterly foolish of any woman to believe just because someone spends money before marriage that is an indicator of what will happen afterwards.

Sadly much of the female commentary here is grossly immature or just not based in reality. I just hope for your sakes that you don't meet men that will exploit this immature thinking to do you great damage.

I AM NOT AN ASHEWO OR A GOLDIGGA IN ANY FORM, and yes, if a guy claims to love me or is my friend even, he should feel and know when you are going through tough times and at least offer to help, It is usually the effort that counts,

@MBJ,

It is unfortunate that you have the mindset of making your gf pay for hers, as you do yours,  I don't know where you are from, but in Africa, that is not how we roll,  The man is a man and provides,  This is not to say I let my man provide all the way, ofcourse I assist,  But I would actually like the man to offer to take absolute care even though I would decline most of the offer if not all of it, because him even thinking in that direction shows that he is a real man and can take care of his own and would always strive to in any situation.

You are stingy  grin and an ashewo as shy-one actually pointed out having known you for chasing underaged pucci with cash in it as insinuated in your other posts.

What do you have to offer him.

And yet you want him to take responsibility for your expenses.

The only important women in a man's life are his Wife, Daughters, Mother and Sisters.

And until a GF becomes a wife, everything he does for you is voluntary.
