I am sharing a knowledge today on "Tips on how to retrieve your money after you have been scammed".



Please read careful and learn.



1. Screenshot all previous chats across all messaging app (IG and WhatsApp or FB).



2. Write out the Full name and account number of the page or person.

3. Go to the last notification your bank sent you after you made the payment (via mobile app or text) copy out the "TRANSACTION ID NUMBER".



4. Go to any branch of the scam artist's bank (the bank the scammer uses), ask to see the CUSTOMER SERVICE in charge of FRAUD.

5. If you can, print out all those chats with the scammer, and submit it.



While you are there, send an email to SCAMMER'S BANK and copy CBN FRAUD DESK *(anticorruptionunit@cenbank.org).* this will ginger the bank to take it up fast.

What should you expect from this? The culprit/suspects account will be PLACED ON HOLD. His BVN will be blocked permanently. No account will ever be opened neither will he be able to transact banking business in that name until he clears himself with the bank

Meaning he/she cannot transfer or withdraw until they visit the bank, and when they do, the bank will contact the police and the suspect when proven guilty will sign a waiver allowing the bank to refund your money.

They all play this game, every morning. I decided to get it and join to see the fun they get on it. I'm terrible each time the 6 year old or 11 kills me and i can't do anything about it.
I decided as a sense guy to look for cheat online, the one I saw didn't work on with the version they had.
They caught me and uptill now whenever they invite me i just give excuse

Of course.
There's more than one way of tracking you so turning of location services won't help all the way.
The location makes use of GPS and BTS, BTS is in the hands of your ISP where a mere triangulation from the isp would pinpoint your location to a radius that's still beneficial to the services being provided by internet giants.

The only location data Google needs for ad services in a country like nigeria is your state, and city and the area usually matters for weather services only which has already been provided by your ISP the moment you use your phone.

As for your online activities it's the way they make money, i mean they are offering you their services for free at least that's what we all think meanwhile there getting data from us that'll be putting money in their pockets forever �.
And funny thing is we can't do anything about it except we want to pay outright for their services like paying to use chrome browser in a subscription based model (who will?)
If we take our time to even read the headings from the terms and conditions we'll realize we gave them permission to use it.

But from the thread google shouldn't be our problem cos we know what they use our data for. But this other small small apps that pop in and out of the store are the issue.
There was a time last year i i needed 17k urgently and i couldn't ask someone for it so i registered on Branch loans, i was able to get 15k which was prolly because of my other transactions on my bank. I registered with my number and after paying them, i started receiving scam phone calls wich wasn't from the real branch number asking me to confirm my details.
How did they get my number and knew i used branch if not for the data only they know how they got it.

Google can't track you without your permission, it's on default on their browsers to track you.
But if you off your location on your phone or disable your browser from tracking your activities it can't do anything.
In such cases your ISP is the culprit.

I'm not a mobile expert so I don't know what to look for in apps but the basic actions they take.
This question would be best suited for google.
As you've read google doesn't actually handle this things they contract it to a cyber security firm to check the codes of each app and only when those firms find an issue that google bans the app.
But in the surface I'll just advice you download through google play, all those apps that pop up adverts unnecessarily or ask you to login outside of the main applications interface or domain.

And also apps that when installed ask for permissions to access data they don't need.
Eg i download a calculator app and it asks me for access into my gallery that is a red flag cos the calculator doesn't need a gallery to work. Well except it's a calculator that serves other purposes like the ones local yahoo boys use to hide their files.
It takes special people to see what really goes on inside the app.

For a better understanding to help yourself have an overall idea of protecting yourself online from falling for things like this on web or mobile, a crash course on cyber security would help.

Opera mini and chrome are also involved in this. You search for a product or service on google using these apps and Ads about that product start pouring in.

This situation isn't a malware, that's how they make money all browsers track your internet activity, your cookies, cache etc give enough information to the browser that helps it determine the best adverts that'll generate leads to their paying customers.
If you search about PlayStation 5 for example, you'll start getting ads related to gaming,
People that search porn without blocking the browser from following their internet activities end up having porn or sex related adverts following them everywhere.

Sorry to intrude, i feel you should actually wait for the 24 hrs.
It doesn't usually take that long, only depends on the time the funds were paid.
Most times if the transaction is done outside business hours, skrill and payooner push till next business day.

There is more to remote jobs than you think. Here is my personal experience.

Recently, i received a mail from a remote american tech company that i applied for. I was informed, that an interview will take placed few days, i prepared for the interview and the day came , lot of questions were asked that questioned my experience in web development. Finally the interview was over, but still i felt that i really embarrassed myself and messed up but i kept my fate.

Two days later, i received a mail from the same company where all the company guidelines, workflows and other necessary information i needed to get started were contained.

I resumed work a week after, soon i decided to set up my work environment just for me to realize i will be working actively at midnight from 11:30 - 6:30 due to time zones difference.

So basically, my life was staying on the PC every night and i adapted to it to the extent that i might not use my PC yet i can't sleep at night.

Soon after, i felt ill for 3 days after 4 weeks of sleepless nights and i was advised to reduce my working time and sleep often.

Knowing it was dangerous for my health, i cut my working time to 4AM and i will be off to bed. This step almost cost me my job because i published a new feature to the company product but i didn't include proper documentation of what the feature does and the developers and the members were annoyed with me to that.

Since it was a remote company though they have an office at California, most of their members work remotely, the company meetings are always held on Thursday via Google Meet and i have been marked absent for 3 times in a row which is really bad for my report. I was warned if i miss the next meeting, there is a possibility that i might be on probation or worst relieved of my role.

NB: I work as a frontend developer using Vuejs as my core language.

I certainly can't call myself a developer yet, though I'm well versed in java and web building but being there's more to all that i have never applied for any of that.
But as a freelancer generally it's a breath of fresh air for me doing what i do best, making use of time that I'm not doing nothing.
Growing up i was already used to being awake all night watching tutorials, series or practicing the new things I learnt.
The moment i was introduced to freelancing i wasted no time.
In a country where we lack opportunities for youths to make money legitimately, any other option i get that pays me according to my skill is good business.
You're having the issue of time cos your body isn't used to it. As for me I've been used to the night life for long its almost as if I'm not nigerian.

There's no issue, same way some online merchants reject verve cards etc.
They simply don't want you to use a credit card of the type you have for reasons known to them, maybe if there's an issue they won't be able to rectify it cos it's out of their control.
Moreover it's a Nigerian website so it's not any bias as regards your country of origin.

all this could be peer influence as at then. it doesn't necessarily mean shes lesbian even if she says so you still have to observe her while in school if possible if you're still skeptical put her in a mixed school or a day student.

Personal opinion:
So far your gas isn't leaking there's no issue,
If the fire is already on, there's no issue.
The issue this said lady had was keeping the gas on and distracted by the phone if all what was said is true.
