burac: oga siena why did you say the thermostat shd not be remioved in any car. got an xterra last year and when i noticved it over heating i took it to a mech in lagos. a so called double radiator, thicker fan with more blades and the mechanism that tuns the fan was changed. during this process the thermostat was removed. though the over heating stopped, i still kept the original thermostat (instincts) dont trust the nigerian mech. i try as much as possible never to leave my car alone with any mech. sometimes your presence and lil car-know-how helps to check them. so back to my question. why not remove the thermostat? Can i suggest that you visit this thread and read up this topic https://www.nairaland.com/1006388/camry-99-thermostat-removal/1 It was treated exhaustively here. . . . .after that, i am hoping you will be left feeling foolish ![]() |

I knelt down and thanked God the wheels didn't fit! Jeez, woulda killed the whole neat job. Again, i suggest you stick to this colour. You will have a better final output and not have the issue of bonet cuts and inner spaces bearing a colour different from the exterior color. Nice work mate, keep it up! |
The indigenisation policy of 1991 saw many people who weren't indigenes of Enugu pushed out of the town after the creation of Anambra State out of the old Anambra state. Most people affected were from Anambra state, hence, were pushed out of the civil service of Enugu state government. But it is worthy to note, at least known to me, that those who left the Enugu state government were immediately absorbed into the Anambra State civil service which was just starting off back then. A good number also of Anambra State origin, that were retrenched from Anambra State University of Science and Technology (ASUTECH) were also absorbed by the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka. The same applies to a good number of Enugu state MDAs; Anambra absorbed most of these people. This is also happened under the regime of Okwesilieze Nwodo and was continued to an extent, but subsequent military regimes. There is one thing of certainty about the Igbo race; dominance of anywhere they come into and this has been personified by the Anambra people. A good evidence of this is that before the coming of democratic governance in 1999, most federal establishments were headed by Anambrarians. From UNN to UNTH, to NTA and FRCN of old. Whatever be the case, the issue of indigent and non-indigent people polarised Enugu and even as a child, I could see the effects. However, I think that to some extent, the government in the new Anambra state catered to the retrenchment by absorbing some of the disengaged staff. The above issue is not dying off any soon since most of the establishments i stated above are now being headed by Enugu indegenes. It really doesn't matter to me who is where or who heads what as long as service delivery is taking place. Also, there has to be a recognition of the place of Enugu in the scheme of Igbo politics today. It is the converging point and also a place where all persons of Igbo descent wishes to have a representation. Hence, if we can do some sort of convergence development, we can always arrive at a point whereby all Igbo states starts and maintains development from their own ends and end it at a centre; that way, we can achieve a holistic development of Igboland. |
elampiro: Okay.i think it's the spambot hitting you with its own argument ![]() Bros, make i ask you, have you seen the argument between Dayokanu and Coogar? Starboard and Coogar? Starboard and Montelik or Ruudie? Starboard and TKB(where this one dey?)? Anyway, if you haven't please see backlog. . . . . . if you don't see this as a modus operandi here, you will not blend in fast. What i don't subscribe to is the garbage of insults hurled especially by Coogar. That's why a good number of times, most of us don't really come here. So if you waka because we hurl argue, i wonder where you will be headed? Or, what is actually the flavor of a forum like this? Isn't it the arguments? Anyway, i say make i hail you even though una argument dey tire person atimes but hey, stay put! That's the fun. Please be warned, we are gonna have it TOUGH next season. With a new manager and new backroom, losses will be commonplace here. So i expect Dayokanu and his Losers all stars to set up band sessions here more often. You are also allowed to go to the rival club threads and cause some commotion. ![]() This is the only thread mods cut people some slack. . . . . ![]() |

And another marathon starts!!! Some people are attracted to bragging like bee to honey!! ![]() The importance of commercial sponsorships in football has been laid bare by the Australian media who have revealed that Manchester United were willing to disappoint over 80,000 fans in Sydney in row over fizzy drinks. United beat the Australian A-League All-Stars 5-1 last month in front of a sell-out 83,127 at the ANZ Stadium but it turns out the night's real drama took place off the pitch. Just 20 minutes before kick-off the match was still on the brink of cancellation because United were refusing to take the pitch as long as the stadium's giant screens were flashing up ads for Coca-Cola. This was unacceptable to Manchester United's commercial department who were on the brink of signing a multi-million pound sponsorship deal with Pepsi in the Asian-Pacific region which has since been confirmed this week. That deal does not even include Australia, but United were not going to take any chances about offending Pepsi. "Man U's commercial department threatened that the team would not run out if the Cola-Cola sign stayed on the big screen," an ANZ Stadium spokesman has confirmed. "It wasn't discovered until the team arrived at the ground." Coca-Cola are one of the main backers of the stadium which complicated the issue. The Football Federation of Australia were even called in to help mediate proceedings and a compromise was finally reached where all Coke ads were replaced by ads for Mount Franklin water – another Coca-Cola Amatil product, but not a direct rival to Pepsi. "There was a fairly heated discussion which involved FFA as well," an FFA insider confirmed. "The odd part is that there were lots of Man U people at the stadium three nights earlier for State of Origin and nothing was said about the signs. "They could hardly say they were caught by surprise." http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/blogs/world-of-sport/united-refused-field-over-pepsi-v-coke-dispute-110246001.html |
Nwanne, I tap this ur spirit!! I tap into it big time!!! This is grit! Die hard! No giving up! Keep up bro |
Omo, tDie, better recruit someone for the pictures oooo I don't want story. .. . . . . .i need full pictorial representation!!
PHASE B; Interior 'Pimping'- Not much to be done here- removal of the factory audio and installation of the new pioneer cd player. Refixing of the sagging roofliner and fixing of the passenger front seat airbag sensors (that is triggering the airbag light).
Now, to the bolded. I have always associated this with VW cars. My cousin's passat has already started sagging, my friend's Golf IV and a Jetta taxi i used sometime back also had this sagging. Not just the roof, but the door linings as well. Sienna, what could be the issue here? Low quality? Weather? Poor build? What actually? Cos this is very unsightly and embarrassing at the same time ![]() |
Signing up sharply! ![]() |

Divine touch: please what's d advantage or disadvantage of high or low mileage cars ? pls someone should educate meThere is no particular disadvantage or advantage Everything lies with maintenance habit. If a car with 200k miles followed all maintenance procedures, it can still put on another 300k |
