talktimi: have you tried www.edmunds.com ? You should go through the user reviews there also, i usually ure that site when i want to review any car im interested in although honestly speaking, you will have to seek out bm users/mechanics familiar with that ride in Nigeria also to give you a home based perspective.I have been on edmunds severally. But a reviewer gives you information based on what a manufacturer presents him not as a user. There is always a divide. . . . .the best ways is to always seek user's experience. Makes for a more informed buy. That;s why people like yungboss are after my heart Tells you what the likely local issues are, what to look out for and what to avoid. Thanks for your insight ![]() |
Siena: The level of ignorance displayed in this thread is staggering. Do you yourself know where the thermostat in your engine is? Oops! Your engine doesn't have one, it's sitting in a dusty corner of your mechanic'sI didn't expect you to respond to such crass ignorance. But hey, i can understand, he could be misleading some people who are proponents of, Don't fix it if it's not broken. In this case, it is unknowingly broken. . . . but them no know. ![]() How far? No word from you on the costing for the E46 323 or 325i? Shoot me a mail chinedu.anarado@gmail.com |
igbo boy: Chino #1 of Anambraland you are something else..It is a move the give the people of Anambra North a chance which i think is quite fair But at the same time, i hope we are not writing an unwritten rule. Obi has done fairly well and i expect him to handover to someone who will take the stakes higher. What i don't know is how they intend to resolve the leadership issue with APGA since Obi's man friday Maxi Okwu has lost out to Umeh. We are watching. However, there are things i don't want to see. As you stated above; I don't want to see an Ngige (suddenly become too mouthy) or the fraud called Ifeanyi Ubah I don't want to see a PDP take over! Hell NO!!! Unless of course if it is Charles Soludo I don't want any of those hawks who ran to APGA after power changed hands. Career politicians will take us back to the dark days Ultimately, i want to see a scenario where Anambra North is given a chance at the power equation in Anambra State. So we are waiting on November. Meanwhile, i am surprised Chino didn't deem it important to take some pictures to at least help promote his paymaster's work here? Even ACM10. . . . this is grand-hand falling!!! |
Spyder, Thanks for this eye opening session on granite! Indeed there is no business without a fraudulent side! |
Ikenna, I doff my hat for you! What a patient and painstaking explanation!! From Lawyer to auto technician. Nwanne you go show me how you take learn all these oo!! Please what's the full meaning of CTS |
coogar: i am disappointed nkiru sylvanus was not included in the cast.In what sense biko? To add a slur to it? Nay! @Afam I was a bit sad when the synopsis and initial plan didn't show a strong Nigeria cast. But has these crew delivered the job? A resounding YES! Anyone who hasn't read the book won't connect much I sure would love to see Nigerians delivering this story but if their delivery will make me loose the worth as regaled by Adichie, then I am not sure i wanna see them anywhere near shoot locations. |
Fhemmy, thanks for cracking me up with your response to Bellong!!! ![]() Abeg, where the people wey no mind low mileage? I have been looking for them! I seem to be meeting the one who don't want a mileage more than 100k for a 1997 Camry! |
Wait oo, shouldn't we be looking for a defensive midfielder? Someone who can do some neat hatchet job and then free up Carrick to play more advanced? Can't Kagawa do the job Fabregas wants to be drafted in for? Methinks a Song will do just right oo.. . . . and for just 8m pounds we can snap him He passes well and can also hold and drive the ball Fabregas? Good addition but is it really needed? Maybe someone can still get Mikel Obi |

Yungboss, Can you give me an overview of what it costs you in week/month to keep the E46? Cost of spares also needed! Money don dey complete before Hyundai go thief me go (i don dey eye the 07 Santa Fe lately)Again, a close paddy who owns a 98 E36 wants to sell. ![]() But that't not the issue. He advised me against the E46 AWD that's 325IX citing the auto gear mated with the AWD system is given to issues and quite an expensive fix or replacement when it goes kaput. ![]() What's your take? haven't found a good review of the IXs online. You can recommend though. |
Spyder Nwanne m Olu gi na aga nno ofuma! Disie ike! But i am surprised no sort of SOns of the Soil or the ever called Obio Akpor boys have shown up here to demand for their "rights". How is this so? Abi d plot dey on ghost mode? |
Omo, i can't wait for part II |
@ Jarus, Manie, I used to think it was only the Igbos who had this sense of think home once income begins to flow. This has made me have a rethink. Based on the topic, here's what i am most likely to do; Divide the cash at hand/takings from the initial stock investment into two (you can choose a sharing pattern you desire). A half is to go for reinvestment and the other half should go into developing the Ajah land. As for the country home project, i need people to understand this. Building at home only has a social value and nothing more. It is not yielding any income, it is not appreciating in value (unless you are from certain communities with plenty commercial activities) so for me, i can only think home when i am sure i have taken a stead where i am based. Whichever way, your profit from stock investments should be used in developing the Ajah plot at every time it matures. All the best!! |
elampiro: 1. What is your measurement of performance? Is it just goals? How many goals did Iniester scored? What about Oscar and Hazard? But look at their importance to the team.Unfortunately you will keep making excuses. I haven't even narrowed this down. There is always an agreement between an employer and an employee. Once a party to the agreement doesn't deliver, it calls for a review. That is business! |
There is something we all need to understand; the relationship between an employer and an employee My boss once sacked someone and when asked why, despite all the guy's done for the company. He asked us, "did he do it free of charge? We negotiated his pay based on what he's to do for us. The organisation is not a charity. The relationship is symbiotic and also no one is indispensable. He stopped delivering the goods (doing his work)at the agreed quality which means he's not cheating us. we allowed this to tally for a while giving room for where we may have also lapsed but after 6 months, we felt we needed to find out what is happening. he stated he was being over-worked and that he's delivered the goods but that the compensation needs to rise if we are to keep him and for him to deliver at the level agreed. The Board thought about it, analysed the company's bottom line in relation to what he does for us and agreed to top his pay. Strangely, this has been a decline. But we can't continue allowing this happen. So we asked him to go so we can seek a replacement". Now was the company at fault? What sort of relationship exists here? Can you apply this to the United situation in relation to Wayne Rooney? |
FKBZ: take a chill pill emperoh,My dear, if having a wide mouth means explaining to you why your $1500 won't work, then i will gladly accept. You admitted you didn't know much about cars. Here's someone giving you the basic things you need to think about, free of charge and you taking an offence. Anyway, it is a free world, a free forum. FKBZ: TOPE DATS NICE.Shipping alone to Nigeria will take $1100. You haven't thought of inland trucking, auction fees and the small commission to Tope before the car. You might need to sit back and think again. Unless u mean someone should dash you a car. |
dopeJemi: r we crazyI tomorrow, United decides to sell Rooney, the likeliest destination is PSG |
Hey guys, Are we not derailing this topic? Can we set up a thread discussing the land documentation topic and enlist Lawyer's help? |
Manchester United have made a bid of £25m to bring Cesc Fabregas back to England, according to Sky sources. The Barcelona midfielder has repeatedly said he wants to stay at his hometown club despite difficulty winning over some supporters last season. That was his second year back in Catalonia following his return from Arsenal, who reportedly have first refusal on Fabregas if Barca decide to sell. United's offer is believed to be below Barcelona's valuation of the Spain international. United are searching for a creative midfield presence to offset the loss of newly-retired Paul Scholes. Fabregas would become the second former Arsenal captain at Old Trafford, alongside Robin van Persie, if the Premier League champions managed to pull off a deal. Speaking last month, Fabregas confirmed he is happy at Barcelona and dismissed talk of his departure by reiterating his desire to stay at the Camp Nou. "I've always said that I'm happy at Barca. Whoever says that I'm leaving doesn't know me and has never spoken with me," said the 26-year-old. "Nor with my agent, because he knows that I don't want him to talk with other people about me. I'm very private and I don't even talk about these things with my family. "If someone says anything that isn't that I want to play at Barca, it's completely absurd." New United manager David Moyes is still waiting to make his first signing after missing out on Thiago Alcantara after the midfielder left Barcelona for a reunion with Pep Guardiola at Bayern Munich. "I will not name anybody, but certainly we are always looking at the best players. I think we are trying to strengthen in a couple of areas. We are short in midfield." David Moyes However, Moyes says he has money to spend this summer and that the Red Devils are looking to land 'the best players' around. After seeing his first game at the United helm end in a 1-0 defeat to the Singha All Star XI on Saturday, Moyes said: "Isn't it great that the club says, 'There's no budget here, you go get who you want to get, just go and do it'. "We are looking at the best players. I do think it's important that we show people we are carrying on the traditions and trying to take the club forward. "I will not name anybody, but certainly we are always looking at the best players. I think we are trying to strengthen in a couple of areas. We are short in midfield. "We are also a club which tends to invest in the youth side, so you can expect us to go for players in that age group. "We are working hard to make sure the first signing is the right one. I have been left a really good team and I want to add to it sensibly." http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11667/8825456/Transfer-news-Manchester-United-make-25m-offer-for-Barcelona-s-Cesc-Fabregas |

Ikenna351: Is the person interested a lady? Is he or she after the most fuel economical 206 or one with average fuel consumption? The persons is a young working class single lady. Nice one and very good progress. Waiting for the cost aspect |
Under normal circumstances, the difference is normall 15 - 30k in clearing cost from experience though. Time was when it was just N5k. These days, expect anything. But like Bellong said, i do rather pay those fees and keep to schedule. Most times, when i do back and forth, it makes me look like a liar before the client. On another note, using Grimaldi for containers is a bit faster than roro. The ish is that there is less traffic on their container line hence, if a car will wait 6 weeks before sailing, container will take 3 weeks. I have experienced this too, where two cars i did roro and container arrived 25 days apart. Another aspect of Grimaldi i detest is using telex release for clearing a car. On Hoegh, i never used a Bill of Laden. I just paid N5k extra. After some time, it went up to N5,500. Don't know how much it is as of now. But Grimaldi will charge you N15k for the same service. If it were N5k, i won't have need to spend $100 sending BOL to Nigeria. I just used Sallaum to ship a 2004 Highlander and i have just been given a sail date of 13/07 Grimaldi has NEVER done this before. Hoegh is also definite and i get constant date and they stick to it. |
That concludes David Moyes's first news conference as Manchester United manager. The former Everton bos shakes the hands of a number of the gathered media before exiting. Thoughts on the Moyes's first comments? Happy to hear that Wayne Rooney is not for sale? Have your say, #bbcsportsday lET THE COMMENTS FLOW IN No Alcantara, no signing indications. . . . . . what's next? |
