In the message of encouragement Jesus was given to His disciples, Jesus said He will ask the Father and the Father will send the Advocate which is the Spirit of Truth.

In John 14 but from John 15 and 16, Jesus switch from the Father and directed that to Himself by saying "But I will send you the Advocate — the Spirit of truth..." vs 26 and "If I do go away, then I will send him to you." vs 7

Do you see the reason why the Holy Spirit was called the Spirit of the Father and Jesus Christ?
