Politics › Re: The Reason Behind The Raid Of Justice Mary Odili's Abuja Home by engrfaruq(m): 2:12am On Nov 01, 2021 |
jom28gy: That is simply the truth By tradition, the second most senior justice of the supreme court is appointed chief justice after the retirement of the incumbent. Will Peter-Odili become the second female CJN — after Aloma Mariam Mukhtar — when Muhammad retires? Not so fast. Odili, who was appointed a justice of the supreme court on June 23, 2011, was born on May 12, 1952. This means she will be due for retirement by May 12, 2022 on clocking 70. But Muhammad, who was appointed a supreme court judge in 2006 and sworn in on January 8, 2007, was born on December 31, 1953 — meaning he is younger than Peter-Odili and will not retire until 2023 when he hits the 70 figure. For those who dream of another female CJN as the world marks International Women’s Day today, all hope is not lost. Kudirat Kekere-Ekun, born on May 7, 1958, will not retire until 2028 and is due to move to No 5 very soon. There is also Amina Adamu Augie, but she will be 70 in September 2023 when Muhammad may still be in his seat. Uwani Musa Abba Aji is also waiting in the wings as she will not retire until November 7, 2026. There is one more female justice, Helen M. Ogunwumiju, who was inaugurated as a justice of the supreme court in November 2020. |

RuggedBiafran: Did i say that shooting in the market square is right
In any encounter between "BAD GUYZ and AUTHORITIES" as a basic rule of engagement it is always known that the "authorities" do not engage when they are in densely populated areas. Instead they employ means to route the "bad guyz" to areas with open terrain and then engage.
The police authorities acted a very poorly scripted "show of shame" and as such its so "tactless" and shows that all the "bravado" is baselessly foolish. HOW CAN YOU TAKE COVER FROM SO CALLED "BAD GUYZ" behind and in the midst of civilian targets.
Guy wake the FUCCCCKKKKKK up ...just as they lied at "Lekki Toll Gate" that is how they are uselessly trying to package "whatever" home video as "action film" for gullible people.
THE VIDEO has also been tendered as evidence....showing the length a useless Government will go to "fabricate" events.
remember also that the useless DSS denied going to "IGBOHOs" house ..but the same DSS later confessed to actually going there and engaging people there. You go soon see script with your koro-koro eyes. I understand you guys are in the denial stage, and we've been there before, but now out eyes don clear. |

OnyeOgboni: You're an idiot... who built the airport? You're not an idiot sir. Anambra State Government built the airport, but people were complaining that the FG was planning to frustrate the commissioning of the facility. I hope you get the gist now, without a single insult from me. You should note that, we can argue and disagree without necessarily throwing insults, that's called maturity. |

Psalmistproject: Not when you have Igbos in your state. When the army comes for them too, you will also run away from your state.
But my question to you is, is it not better to let them have their nation than dragging the entire country to civil war. The Internally Displaced Igbos are everywhere in the world, so the whole world can't go into war instigated by those of them resident in the East. The Igbos living outside Igbo land have no option than to conform, and live a refugee/IDP life, as the case may be. |

Those that have suffered so much and ready to commit suicide will not think twice to join forces against the government. Dieing for what you believe is better than dieing for hunger or being a collateral damage. As long as as the war would be fought in Alaigbo, no qualms. |
