If you are good in DIY, scan the car and monitor the fuel pump's duty cycle and fuel line pressure. At least one of those PIDs should be there.
If you can, post results here.
Are you sure that you are not buying wrong specification fuel pump because there are reasons why wrong specification fuel pumps don't work for a particular car.

The information you provided is scanty. Rendering quality help is difficult.

For how many minutes or hours after engine turn off does fan operate intermittently? Is this non-stop?

Don't it happen even when engine is cold?

Check to ensure that other cooling system components are okay(no leaks, no weak hoses, no faulty fan control, no faulty temperature sensor, no underlying over heating issue and so on). Then revert the fan back to factory working mode.

Direct fan connection is overworking the fans, stresses your power supply, increases your fuel consumption and reduces your engine's life span.

I suggest these:

1. Check ATF fluid level when cold and hot. In fact, how do you check the fluid level?

2. Get a technician that can do good diagnosis by studying solenoid logic.

Make good use of your discretion so that you won't over spend before you buy new transmission though I don't think this issue is beyond fix.

I have a Camry 2007 hybrid that has started giving me troubles.
When I start the car in morning, it has a rattling sound before it starts. Then, when I put it reverse gear, it jerks repeatedly before it reverses. These are the only problems it has. But these problems usually becomes very minimal as the day goes on.

The multi-information display shows "Check Hybrid System" and "Check VSC System". Occasionally, the red battery signal flashes.

This car has been in the mechanic for 2 weeks and now, it can not start. The mechanic said the hybrid is deteriorated and needs replacement. He couldn't get single cells/modules so he's asking me to buy an entire battery pack for 450k.

Pls I need help/suggestions. Thanks

Check fuel pump assembly/housing.

Electrical issues (compounded by incompetence of some mechanics) and the VR6 engine is largely not understood by many till date. In fact, direct injection engines, even the I4's.

I guess you have fixed this issue since the complaint has lasted for a while.

My guess is if it overheats when reverse gear is engaged for a while is that you have a clutch that engages on reverse slipping badly.

You didn't state the period transmission stays in reverse gear before it begins to overheat.

Please! Catcon gutting or blockage can negatively affect fuel economy. It depends on the car.

Top cylinder gasket was not properly installed or cylinder head was already cracked as a result of the overheating.

The history of the car was overheating and gasket got burnt. Gasket was replaced but oil is in radiator reservoir now. Got the car recently but never stalled since use.

And while you tow, some drivers in the towed vehicle match break any how tripling the load.

I thought all the road side mechanics are certified.

Check for vacuum leak, throttle body. Scan the car.
