Business / Re: National ID Card to Become Credit Card? by enolase(m): 8:08pm On Jun 21, 2007
, AND HE CAUSETH ALL, BOTH SMALL AND GREAT, RICH AND POOR, FREE AND BOND, TO RECEIVE A MARK IN THEIR RIGHT HAND OR IN THEIR FOREHEADS.

AND THAT NO MAN MIGHT BUY OR SELL, SAVE HE THAT HAD THE MARK, (REV 13 verses 16 & 17).

Now hear this:

On May 12, 2008, the new injectable biochip which will replace the use of the credit card and international passports in future will start being employed in the United States of America. It is designed to carry the Social Security number, Tax ID, credit card and bank information as well as all necessary identification particulars of the individual, all in one.

This chip (which is already in use to track animals and lost pets) will work with GPS technology. (remember where the bible says that there shall be no hiding place in the days of the tribulation).

Europe is already using a common currency. Now ECOWAS is contemplating introducing the ECO as a common West African currency.

Last week, Robert Mugabe and Muammar Ghaddafi said in a summit that it is time the African Union transits into a central African government, with country presidents being heads of the different provinces that are presently known as countries.

Now Nigeria tinkering with this idea of converting the computerised national ID card into the perfect ID card/currency.

PEOPLE, THE STAGE FOR THE COMING OF THE ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT OF THE ANTICHRIST IS BEING SET.

Those who believe the word of God and are born again, prepare yourselves and hold on fast to the faith. Those who do not know God, read the book of Revelation and give your lives to the True and Faithful One, Jesus Christ.

@BIGBOYLARY
I think i read this same thing on stockswatch for this week. Is that your crystal ball?

You don't need to read about this from any publication.

How do banks, finance houses and insurance companies make their money anyway? The PFAs are merely joining the fray to further increase the amount of liquidity in the system chasing relatively fewer stocks.

Afterall, what other investment instruments in Nigeria give the kind of returns available in the Nigerian capital market? NONE!

Simple law of supply and demand. Market forces at work!

That's why the NSE has already experienced the growth of the whole of 2006 in just a few months.
Investment / Re: Stocks That Can Make You Rich In 2007 by enolase(m): 12:51am On Jun 21, 2007
One thing I always advise people on is that you have to try to be personable when dealing with your brokers. If you respect them and deal with them on some level of informality, your account officers can go the extra mile for you.

Many investors are too impatient, and too formal when dealing with brokers. Some are downright rude when dealing with their brokers. Part of the problem at times also stems from not having some basic knowledge about how the market works.

A lady had called me recently with some questions she had about investing in the stock market. She kept insisting that she wanted a broker who would trade on the floor of the stock exchange in her locality (not the Lagos floor shocked)!

She also insisted that any broking firm she uses MUST get her stocks with which she can make 100% gain in three weeks! Not regarding that there are factors that can either push up a stock price, or cause a drop (the way the strike and capital flight from major stocks to buy into the First Bank offer is causing the market to take a bashing this week).

How realistic is that?

Another point: Even if you get another broking firm, what is the guarantee that the same problems or even newer ones will not emerge?

Like someone rightly said, it is better to gradually cut down your portfolio in your old firm, while preparing to get enough money to enter the new firm. No one wants to lose clients, and will do anything to stop you from transferring your portfolio.

Afterall, which business man wouldn't?
Adverts / Re: How Warren Buffet Made His Money! by enolase(m): 10:28pm On Jun 20, 2007
Information makes the difference between the rich and the poor. If you want to be like Warren Buffet, you need to do things the way Warren Buffet did them to get to where he is today.

I know there are some who want such information FREE. Sorry, it doesn't always work that way. Such privileged information has a price tag.

I am sure the book is worth reading.

is it possible to use two stock brokers at a go?. I am having a bit of problem with cashcraft, and i am getting tempted to try use another broker.

Very possible. But you must understand that some of the issues that you may have with your present brokers can always be sorted out in a peaceful manner.

Changing brokers is not always a solution.

I have never liked Levi Ajuonuma from his days as the presenter of the Saturday evening programme on NTA by 8pm during the Abacha days (what was the name again; someone please remind me), where his views on that show betrayed his status as a military apologist.  angry

Now he is back doing what he knows to do best; making incendiary statements as if the power of life and death reside with him.

I never liked him then; I certainly do not like him now. He has no human feelings whatsoever.

As for the strike, it has just been announced that it is to go on. I really pity Yar'Adua. Shey im wan become presido, Make im see how far.

There are players who are dying to play for their country. Yet we have a*s**l*s like Mikel "forming" for us.

God bless that young brat that I am not the coach of Super Eagles. I would have put him where he belongs. When I am through with him, he will come on bended knees, BEGGING. angry angry angry

As for me, I have stopped watching Super Eagles. I definitely have better things to do than watching a wobbling and fumbling team give people hypertension all the time.

Did I remember to tell you I had more patients in my clinic coming to check their BPs today? The reasons may not be too remote.

Hey Everybody.

There is something serious I need to put out here.

I have been receiving some emails in my box since posting my address here (they are copied below).

I am certain the person got the address from here.

So, I'm just saying people should be careful who dey do business with.

Do your due diligence and satisfy yourself in everyway before doing business with anybody.

If anybody else has gotten similar emails here please post let us know.

I think I will be postponing my visit to Nigeria for a while till i can be better reassured.

Thank you people.

There are software around called Email Extractors that online scammers use. They simply get to a cybercafe, and use the software to filter out email addresses that are sent to and from that particular computer. The scam mails are then sent out from there to all emails extracted at once.

So it does not necessarily mean that the person who sent you the scam email is a Nairalander. I suggest you be careful about the cybercafe you use.

U know Bill Gates worth has dropped from $95 billion in 1999 to just over $56 billion by Feb this year, due largely to the "dot.com" burst.

The difference between himself and the next person (is it Warren Buffet or Carlos Slim) is not much: roughly $2billion.

If Bill doesn't do something fast, he may be overtaken very soon.

There are good broking firms that can accept as low as N100,000 for opening an account.

Send me an SMS (I mean SMS only please) on 08064162860 for more info on this.
Business / Re: How Can I Make One Million Naira Per Year? by enolase(m): 7:49pm On Jun 18, 2007
Do not put your money in a bank's tenored (deposit) account as someone is suggesting. Maximum payout is 10% interest.

Also, do not go trapping that money in a bank public offer (e.g First bank). As a rule, bank offers have to be ratified by CBN before certificates are released. Historically, this does not take anything less than eight months. That of Intercontinental Bank has taken one year.

Within one year, those trading on the secondary market would have made crazy returns on investment, while you will still be waiting for your share certificate. Then you will need to verify the certificate and send it to CSCS for conversion to electronic form. Which means you must still go to a stockbroking firm and open a CSCS account; another 3 months.

Why pass through this hassle, when with stock trading, you can make 60 to 300% returns on investment in a short or medium term basis?

Just give me a call on 08064162860 or visit http://www.nairastocks.com and see for yourself what I am talking about.

We need to talk. Invest wisely and reap GOOD returns based on my advice.

Where are you located?

I have a valid peddlers' license for kerosene, as well as a 20,000 litre facility here in Port Harcourt.

If you are serious, I can make my license available to you and we can do business; either as partners, or you pay for the use of my license.

Why are we attacking Oaziz? How many politicians in Nigeria who are deified in our society today made their money honestly?

Anyway, Oaziz, I will advise you to invest in stock trading. You can actually make more than 1 miilion naira annually with what you have as your seed capital. Maybe you need to join us at http://www.nairastocks.com, where I and subscribers trade stocks on sound information and analysis.

I will soon be having an online conference chat with all subscribers. There you can hear from others about their success stories.

You can go to this site and see things for yourself, or call me on the number there.

Business / Re: Cashcard International Freezes V-cash Accounts Belonging To Nigerians by enolase(m): 5:39pm On Jun 16, 2007
Nigeria may have been delisted by FATF, but the Office of Foreign Asset and Control (OFAC) of the US State Department still has Nigeria on the list of non-cooperative countries on international money laundering.

OFAC (not FATF) are the real problem here, and from recent comments emanating from there, Nigeria is not getting off their list anytime soon.

OFAC has instructed all banks in the US doing business with Nigerian companies to freeze their accounts.

So I can tell you that even though Cashcards would like to do business with Nigerians, will be in trouble of they contravene the law as spelt out by OFAC.

That's it!

@aylala2002, and all,

In one of your recent posting, you suggested that taking a 1 yr loan to buy first bank IPO is a good move.

Noting: the interest around 27%(when u add all the extras), the possible delays that are real, delayed return money etc

Do you still think the loan idea for FBN IPO is good?
And why??
Please comment asap, very important,

I personally don't think it is wise to take a loan to buy First Bank's Public Offer (incorrectly called IPO; it is not an initial offering).

By the time CBN and other regulatory bodies are through ratifying the ratifiables, it may be one year before people get their certificates (look at Intercontinental Bank). This is always the problem with bank public offers.

Until CBN hastens their involvement on bank offers, it is SUICIDAL to take a bank loan to buy the First bank PO.

With the increase in no. of outstanding shares occasioned by the hefty one for one bonus last year and this offer (which is expected to raise the no of outstanding shares by 30%), price movement is expected to be very sluggish this year.

Rather use borrowed funds to play other equities on a short term basis. Always the best option.

i tried to get another the second one did not work what advise can you give me or can you be of help to me in using the card thnks

Yes.

I just mentioned that fact. This is because Google thinks that by using a repeat card, there is a fraud aspect of it. Don't forget that these websites have software that can track your Ip address to Nigeria. I do not need to over stress the kind of reputation we have online.

The solution?

Just get a card from http://www.epaypanel.com. We have a system that ensures you have no such problems in future.

If you have been unable to buy things online from sites that use PAYPAL , 2CHECKOUT and CLICKBANK as payment processors because they do not accept credit card payments from Nigeria, then you need to contact me right now.

Via my website http://www.epaypanel.com, I can make these payments for you easily.

My UK partners make these payments from the United Kingdom, and your cards are tied to my foreign office address. That way , the tracking software of these websites identify the IP address of the computer used in making as not coming from Nigeria, and the payment processors identify the VISA card owner as a person living abroad.

That is why http://www.epaypanel.com has NEVER HAD A REJECTED PAYMENT!

We also make payments in money orders, eChecks, Western Union (not possible from Nigeria ordinarily but possible from http://www.epaypanel.com), and also do Bank Wire Transfers.

Do you know that Google usually rejects repeat card payments for their Adwords program? Don't be embarrassed like this.

You need to check out the best online payment solutions from Nigeria; http://www.epaypanel.com today.

Are you prepared to pay for a FULL and comprehensive feasibility report I did last year?

It entails all you need to know from location to requirements, to all necessary certifications needed from NNPC, DPR, etc to factors that enhance profitability, etc.

Please do not be annoyed that I am selling this info; it cost me money to get all this info as well. kiss

What benefits do you get from http://www.nairastocks.com?

One of the benefits is being able to get an accurate prediction on a winning stock early enough so that you make as much profits as you can from that stock.

I illustrated this to one of my latest subscribers some days ago.

I recommended Mutual Benefits Assurance to my clients when this stock was hovering between =N=2.90 and =N=3.20. Some got in at this point, rode out the one week when the price was seemingly not moving, and today they are smiling because the stock is now =N=4.86. All in a space of three weeks.

Some decided to wait to see the direction of this stock, and ended up getting in at =N=4.00. One only placed an order at =N=4.41.

Let's see the difference between Mr A who got in at =N=3.20 and Mr B who got in at =N=4.00. Both have =N=200,000 to invest.

Mr A's =N=200,000 was able to get him 60,000 units (at =N=3.20; brokerage fees took the rest)

Mr B's delay meant that his =N=200,000 was only able to get him 48,000 units ( same equivalent amount as Mr A; brokerage fees took the rest)

Now notice this: By getting in early, Mr A has been able to get 12,000 units more than Mr B with his equivalent amount.

Fast forward the date to Friday June 8, 2007. MBENEFIT closes at =N=4.86.

What are their corresponding gains?

Mr A has made a gain of =N= 1.66 per share, totalling 1.66 X 60,000 units = N99,600 (profit).
Mr B has made a gain of 86 kobo per share, totalling  0.86 X 48,000 units = N41, 280 (profit).

You can see that Mr A by getting in early has made N58,320 more than Mr B, just by utilizing the best entry point.

This scenario can also be replayed if Mr A and Mr B represents the same person, and what the same person would get by getting into this stock at different times.

It pays to take advantage of the right opportunity.

Subscribe now to http://www.nairastocks.com and get the advice that can help you get the most out of whatever investment amount you have.

Cheers.
Business / Re: Access Bank Offer @n14.90k - Would You Invest? by enolase(m): 7:32pm On Jun 07, 2007
There seems to be so much pessimism concerning the Access bank offer.

Permit me to disagree with those who think this offer is a bad one.

This is my take on the proposed Access bank public offer.

Access bank has cut the number of outstanding shares by 52%, causing a corresponding increase in its share price.
The 3rd quarter profit after tax was 334% ahead of that of the full year result for the preceding year.

Earnings per share is expected to hit the highest levels ever recorded in the bank's history.

Translation:

In a market where share prices are pushed upwards once there is a rumour of bonus or scrip issue (regardless of fundamentals), the increased profits after tax that is expected as well as the projected increase in earnings per share make scrip issue and or dividend payout this year very very likely (especially since the bank has not done so in the last two years and would not want to be left out in a sector where this is the norm).

Access Bank shares will soar after the public offer. This is my prediction.

The so-called stall in share prices will only occur after this financial year, when the impact of the absorption of the shares from this public offer and that of any scrip issue (if given) willl begin to tell on the stock (review the history of First Bank in the 2005/2006 financial years).

I think this offer is A GOOD BUY. In fact, I even prefer to buy Access Bank than to buy First Bank! cool

STRICTLY MY OWN OPINION. The experts in the house may not agree with my analysis.

Politics / Jeff Koinange Sacked From CNN Over His Story On The Niger-delta Based Mend Group by enolase(m): 1:07pm On Jun 03, 2007
Hello,

At last, the enemies of our great country have been put to shame.

Recall Jeff Koinange, the CNN African correspondent that ran a story on the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta that was shown on CNN, prompting a response from Frank Nweke, the Information minister?

Well, it has been found that his story was filled with concocted and stage-managed images that painted Nigeria as the most unsafe place on planet earth.

Frank Nweke's theories (which were denied by Jim Clancy and other CNN reporters immediately after Nweke's response on "Your World Today"wink have been proven to be right, and Jeff Koinange has been relieved of his job.

I say CNN deserve to apologize to Nigeria on their news programs in front of the world.

Nigeria's image problem has largely been worsened by negative (and mostly untrue) reports about Nigeria from Western media.

Has there been any case of a university student waking up to shoot 33 of his fellow students before killing himself in any Nigerian university? Is Lagos or even the Niger Delta (where I have lived for more than 20 years) more unsafe than New York?

It is time we rise up as Nigerians and counter the negative reports that the Western media is showing to the world.
