My DH handed my daughter's placenta over to my mum at the hospital to dispose cos we were clueless on how to go about that.

Same thing ll apply for this baby too.

I just hope somebody can guide us through this base on experience.

It happens that wifey is 37weeks gone and the last scan we had 2 weeks ago says the baby was 2.2kg as at then. We got to the lab for another scan today and sonographer says 4k+( he have to caution us that the baby is bigger than the average already).
Now the issue is 14 July is the EDD, is there anything wife can be doing to reduce the weight before then?
I don't want the Doctor advising CS because of baby 's weight plus I have read of tears being one of the result of big baby too.
Even though I have been trying to not let her eat swallow in the night and taking Milo/milk, but she will rather eat that than any other light food mostly because she do come back late from work and all.
I just have to let her but I am seriously concerned about the weight.
We still have 3 weeks to go, what if baby continue weighing more.
This is our first and seriously apart from the normal small small serere...it has been so wonderful with no much stress.....I need guidance on the way out of this pls.

If she can try to eat healthy for the next 3 weeks, more veggies n reduce carbs, it just might help.
But then again, I'd advice U speak t ur Dr to clear ir doubts.

Try reading up online abt jaundice- causes and co. That way U arm urself wt the knowledge of what causes it n what to do in the event that ur child gets jaundice after birth.

Funny how I haven't experienced braxton hicks with this one yet but with my 1st preg it started as early as late 2nd trimester.

typically antenatal starts anytime from 12 weeks, but different hospitals n their policies so it ll depend on what hospital u r using.
Folic acid is fine n very important for now, when u get to the hospital they will advice further

2) i guess ds happens to a lot of us, i sleep off on my side n sometimes wake up on my back....i simply adjust to my side n continue my sleep

Anomaly scan is done typically between 20-24 weeks, so u can stil do it on monday

Pls I'm worried about my scan result. I went for scan last week, it gave me 10w5d and I saw CRL 20mm as against 40+mm I saw online for that 10/11 weeks. Should I be worried abt that baby size?
Secondly, d scan measured 10w5d as opposed 11w5d according to LMP. According to LMP, I should be 13weeks today, but according yo scan, I'm 12weeks today. Pls which should I go with? Scan or LMP?
The sonographer didn't say anything about the size of the baby, he only said I should be careful with bending bcs placenta is low lying and it should move up with time.
My main concern now is d size of d baby, should I be worried, is d baby growing? Pls help me oo

Good evening everyone. Please I need reviews of pregna care max and if it makes one sick because I don’t understand the way I feel these days.
I intend switching to one a day after this pregnacare Max is exhausted as I can’t bear swallowing three big tablets, thing is honestly too much for me but I’m trying so I don’t miss a day.
Last week I had an episode of a threatened miscarriage/abortion and since then I’ve been on compulsory bed rest, staying at home till I birth hopefully and I’m not having fun either.

My dear, u can use pregnacare original which is just 1 tab, eat good food and still have a healthy baby
With my 1st pregnancy, i insisted on max n i recall taking it was a huge task for me cos it always made me nauseous. I eventually gave up on it the day it made me vomit all my food. I just jejely switched to another prenatal med for d duration of d pregnancy n we all turned out fine.

With this pregnancy, I stuck to pregcare original and didn't even bother going near max abeg. Can't coman kee myself on top swallowing 3 tabs when to swallow 1 gan sef na work.

My baby has being head down since 2nd trimester Thankfully, But this week eh Kai, I had to finally go to hospital yesterday and I was given fortwin injection cuz I couldn't sit and lie down at some point, it is well... Your baby might have changed to the head down position, reason y u feel much pressure in ur pelvic area. Also remember that ur baby is gaining more weight by the weeks...so all join.
Some people swear that the pregnancy belly band works and helps to relieve pain, u can try it sha

Please i know they are some vegetable one can blend and drink dat works well for BP. I would appreciate if anyone can suggest the name of the vegetables to me or what i can do naturally to reduce BP.

I’m experiencing something that’s giving me concern.

I’m 30weeks pregnant.

I get this shortness of breath and heart palpitations (if I’m correct). Like my heart starts beating really fast, sweat may even breakout on my forehead, I feel light headedness; like dizzy and if I don’t sit or lie down immediately, I feel like I might just fall. Tonight is the second time I’m experiencing it; right now as I type, I’m currently lying down.

Who else experiences this? Is this normal?

with my first child I had this a lot but the Dr checked my pcv, bp and it was fine so he said I shldnt worry about it.
With this pregnancy, I had it a few times in 2nd trimester but haven't had it in 3rd trim... just check in with ur dr, to keep ur mind at rest.

There is nothing absolutely wrong with giving babies formula.
Not everyone can do exclusive breastfeeding

Pelvic pain n pressure could be caused by baby's position.
Ur baby might have turned head down in readiness for birth
