bluemanice:
Good afternoon all, please I need your advice on this. I am a DE 500l student of noun in computer science dpt, last yr when they introduced eticketing. I checked my results and discovered that I was having low cgpa "0.89". after the 2nd semester exam last year. The cgpa dropped to 0.78.

When I went down to the school to confirm my outstanding courses, they told me I still have 24 outstanding courses which total unit is 89 credits unit
Excluding my project and Siwes.

Pls I want to seek for ur advice if there is anyway I can boost my cgpa or shud I just give up and enroll 4 another course

The only practical way to boost your cgpa is to take those courses and get A's and B's. Take more electives and get A's and B's as well.

NOTICE TO ALL PUBLIC HEALTH STUDENTS (PRACTICUM)

This is to inform all students of the BSc and MSc that practicum exercises will take place from the 1st of March 2023 (01/03/23) to the second week of April 2023. Students are advised to mobilize and report to their respective practicum locations.

We want to inform BSc students that this year's exercise will take a different dimension. At the end of their practicum exercise, they will sit for a written examination. We advise them to take note of this change in the modus operandi of the exercise.

BSc students are also advised that suitable venues within the Primary Health Care Centres, Clinics, and Hospitals will be arranged and organized for the written examination. On the other hand, MSc students will continue with last year's method.

Thank you.

Pls who has ever witnessed this with first bank? I carried out a transaction of over #300,000 and after using part of the money to pay my fees, I was left with around #102,000 thereabouts. Suddenly I found out I couldn't use the money for any transaction again. Upon getting to the bank to complain, I was told my account was frozen by KYC. Pls who has been in this condition before? How did you resolve it and how many days did it take? Mods pls help me move it to front page for more comments. Thanks

I have had similar issue with UBA before. This is often common with all those 'students' account. The moment your account carries out a transaction or receives transfer greater than required, it is frozen.
Mine was bitter because I had traveled out of my state of residence and didn't know my account was frozen. Transfer didn't go, couldn't withdraw at the ATM too. I had send mail and eventually, I did everything online. What delayed mine was because, some of the documents required was not with me. It took less than 48hours after submitting those documents to get the account unfrozen.
It's often a bitter experience. See my mail then.

Jones4190:
how is it useless if they can still take it to bank

They cannot take it completely to the bank as it's questionable to have those amount of money in their accounts.

Jirilistic:
Yes I'm aware of that but I'm quite surprised that those two courses (esm 102 and cit 104) are carrying 6500 each. They don't look like practical courses

Send ticket via support.nou.edu.ng for clarification.

Jirilistic:
So I did course Registration of cit 104(introduction to computers) and esm 102(the Nigerian environment) this semester

But on getting to exam registration, I'm seeing 6500 for each of them . That's a total of 13k for both of them
Instead of the normal 1500 each(3k in total for both of them) as they are not practical courses.
Please how do I rectify this?

All practical courses have now been made 6500 for exams registration. It was not an error

SacredRuler3:
Hello. Please is the admission still ongoing for undergraduate degrees in NOUN?

Slayque3ns and urchins just left the thread. 😆

I cannot login to the Elearn portal... Getting "invalid login" feedback

Keep calm. Just keep trying day after day. Details keep being uploaded daily.

Staness:
Thanks, but that's what is written in step 4 on the list. Also, I'm trying to fill the alumni form it's saying username not found

Those steps were probably put together by someone who was yet to do a clearance this semester or probably an oversight. Practically, it is not like that at the moment.
As for the inability to login, just keep checking as your details get added there.

Staness:
for number 4, please where do I see "submit convocation RRR". Is it the same as "submit rrr after payment, check final clearance payment status"
@enskynelson please help

There is no way to submit convocation RRR. The only RRR to submit is those that have negative balance and generate RRR for the payment. Such are the ones to enter the RRR.

Cash scarcity never hold u? U still get eye to see a these things?😢

Harmony63:
Pls how do I get information for tuition fee for Msc courses

Someone should help me

Go to nounaid.com and use the free fee analyzer there. It will give you an idea of what is expected of you. Kindly check that the semester registration in the calculation should be 61,000.

Bibitayo2:
Good evening.

I am a PGDE student at the Ibadan study Center. I did my TP last year in September and till now my result has not been uploaded. I have spoken to the faculty officer and raised a ticket concerning it on the support platform. I have attached a screenshot of the reply I got.

Can anyone suggest what else I can do? I want to make sure my name comes out on the next graduating list.

Thank you.

Go to your study Centre to verify if your TP was upload on the Project Admin System (PAS) in 2022/2 semester. Sometimes, study centres forget to upload. Sometimes, even those that upload don't see their result due to one problem or the other. Overall, get to your study and make findings. If it was uploaded, the details are still on the PAS. Get a print out (if possible) as an evidence and attach to you complain on the e-ticket. I hope this helps.

Same government that banned politicians from carrying out similar support for students.

DivergentSony:
OK, that's Placement Acceptance letter/form stamped and signed at my IT place. I took it to my faulty but the person that attended to me didn't collect it. She just told me to bring it back on the day of defense and I will upload it on the day of or after defense.
I don't know if that's the new way they do it.

What about SCAF form? You have an idea where and when I'm submitting that one?

Form1 - Request for Placement of Student Letter
Form2 - ACCEPTANCE OF SIWES PLACEMENT
Form3/4 - SIWES EMPLOYER’S EVALUATION FORM

Form1 is for you to take to your place of attachment seeking for approval to do SIWES in their place
From2 This is filled by your employer after accepting you to begin SIWES in their establishment
Form3/4 Is the form the employer will use to evaluate you. After the evaluation, you are required to take same to you study centre. This form is normally filled after you have completed your SIWES.

The above are a the forms.
Under logbook and forms, just convert the above forms at the end of your SIWES to a single document pdf and upload.
Take the same and submit at your study centre.

DivergentSony:
Pls is there any form I have to submit to either school or the ITF office within 2 weeks of my commencement of SIWES? Maybe like SCAF form?

I was watching a YouTube tutorial on logbook filling now and the person said SCAF is to be submitted with 2 weeks once I find a place for my IT. I don't know if that applies to NOUN.

The only form I know that requires submission within 2 weeks is Job Reporting form and it's like it's no longer required as I heard, it's not available on the SIWES portal again.

Samisha500 pls I need your reply too on this, thanks.

Yes. But the form is meant to be uploaded back to siwes.nouedu2.net. The form is printed for the same site and after signing should be uploaded back there.

Sike:
So I decided to continue with my program after 3 years. I'm supposed to continue from 300L but I'm seeing 400L in my portal and -30000 in my wallet. I just paid N49500. And I'm left with N1500 after registering for semester. How I'm I going to rectify this. I can't register my courses with this balance

Please check your mail and locate all your payment receipt. Especially payments made in 2016/17. Compare all your receipts with the ones listed in your e-wallet. If you find any payment receipt not listed there, take it to your study centre or use the e-ticket to send the complaint.
Like someone pointed out "fraud", it is not always true. To verify if it is true, check your audited RRR values, do they match or is there anyone audited as zero? Those are the ones that are considered fraud-related.

Staness:
Omo, what if someone has misplaced the registration slips What's the way forward?

Carry your wallet print out. All your registrations are there in the expenditure. Many Study Centres accept that.

Please, how do I download and fill the graduate exit survey form, my name was luckily included in list just released. Thank you.

Here are the useful links

The shameless man has to mention BAT just to win sympathy. Na BAT send you to run your mouth on issues you don't have primary evidence? It's a pity some of these men are fathers to some persons. What kind of children do you want to raise when yourself as an adult still need to be raised properly??

Azaboy:
This is what I got after registration

Everything looks good.
