Pls do you know if HND Food Technology is an acceptable Diploma for PGD Information Technology.

I have gone through the list but didn't see it there.

Thanks

For such courses not listed, you just have to visit the study centre to determine that. The study centre often have to contact the Department to determine if you are qualified. Cheers

Who told u that? Without passing research methodology, the research project will not pop-up in ur portal for registration. It is only when u passed research methodology that project research will b available for u to register

Thank you for the info. Like I said "the last time I checked"...
I have added this to what I know. Thanks.
By this statement, OP should go ahead and see if he can register. If he cannot, it means he is not eligible to register.

Acquiredollars:
Sir, my question is that even without teaching practice, there are core courses to make up for the 31 Units required. Is Teaching Practice a Must?

TP is a MUST.
If all your CORE courses are more than 31 units, kindly note that the total units of the Core courses supercedes that requirements you see there.

Acquiredollars:
If I understand you well sir, irrespective of the course codes and the semester you decide to choose from; the total number of units that must be passed to meet the graduation requirements must be 31 core credit units ( Elective courses, not included). And as a necessity, even though other courses can be included to meet up with the 31 Compulsory units, you can't leave out Teaching Practice. Is that so sir?

Electives can be included provided all other CORE courses have been passed and it's not up to the required

ATLIEN2027:
In summary - no need for long story.

Pandora pathological obi tuary is a conman and fraud being perpetuated by the IPOB terrorists. Peter Obi tuary is incompetent and a failed former Governor with nothing to show for 8 yrs of governorship in Anambra.

Nigerians are not dumb, they can see through the charade of the conman. Atiku on the other hand is a known thief and bereaved of any new ideas.

The only candidate that Nigerians respects for his record and his antecedents for new ideas and innovation is BOLA AHMED TINUBU.

We don't need a man that can preach at church on Sundays or an man that can give sermons of Fridays - We need a man that has shown in the past the ability to produce and perform. We need a man that can assemble the best of Nigerian brains to create a government that will improve the lives of ordinary Nigerians.
Everything else is just a waste of time.

Look at their past records and vote wisely, don't be fooled by tribal and religious cacophony.

Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the next President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

If you really want someone clean, and choice devoid of ethnicity, what happened to Kwankwaso and other candidates who have far less controversy as compared to the above?
And I wonder how you arrived at the choice of Tinubu after all what you read up there?

Thanks.

In my first semester, I registered for 15 units and passed them all. I can see on my portal that Minimum number of credits required is 31 units, meaning I'll need to register more units right?

My questions please:

1. I can see that amongst the outstanding unit, both first and second semester courses were listed. Can I register first and second semester courses all together in a semester?

2. Is Research project part of the 31 Compulsory units required for graduation?

3. Is Teaching Practice compulsory?

4. Hence, minimum unit is 31, does this include electives taken?

Thank you sir.

1. Yes, you can register both 1st and 2nd semester courses available in your portal in your case because both 1st and second semester courses will be available in your portal.

2. YES, research project is part

3. TP is compulsory. You can see the course is marked C (core) and not E (elective).

4. The 31 units must include ALL CORE courses. And remember I said, of all the subject Methods listed, although marked CoRE, you are required to pick just one.

Acquiredollars:
Thanks again.

Login and you will find your statement of result, the courses you have left and the Total Credits required.
Note that among all the Subject Methods, you are required to pick ONLY ONE.

If you have any problem, get back. Cheers.

Thanks for your assistance. I was able to fill the form. My challenge is: can I enroll for second semester courses in first semester? My portal is showing 2023/1.

Is it possible to register second semester courses in first semester?

Yes. You can. In NOUN, while some students are in first semester, others are in their second semester. Both semesters run concurrently anytime. This is the reason NOUN admit students every semester and not every session.

Akerewe:
Did u passed ur research methodology?

Most M.Sc. Programmes are now 4 semesters. The last time I checked, the system does not check if you passed Research Methods. Your study Centre only check your results to see you have passed Research Methods before assigning you a supervisor. That is the only check.

The solutions to the quadratic equation X^2 + 2x - 8 = 0 are x = -4 and x = 2.
You can use Quadratic Formula : x = (-b ± √(b^2-4ac)) / 2a
In this case a=1, b=2 and c=-8.
x = (-2 ± √(2^2-41(-)) / 2*1
x = (-2 ± √(4+32)) / 2
x = (-2 ± √(36)) / 2
x = (-2 ± 6) / 2
x = (-4) / 2 or x = 2/2
x = -2 or x = 1

I haven’t written the exam yet, I’m writing it this semester. I was hoping to do the course and project at once

If your study Centre doesn't complain, then you don't have an issue.

Thanks... Please one more question.. How much is the estimated cost of registering for Political Science as a new student? Need a rough estimate.

Go to https://nounaid.com/
Click on Fee Analysis

Azaboy:
Good morning to you all.

I graduated in 2011 with 8 credits in all necessary commercial subjects and I haven't collected my WAEC original certificate since then (I have only the printout with me). I am interested in seeking admission into NOUN this year or the next to further my education.

Please I will appreciate if I can get the necessary step by step guidance on how to apply.

Thanks and God bless.

You will have to get Your certificate. Application fee is 5000 and the semester is still fresh for you to start.

This really needed to happen so u can go to the bank and convert your old currency to the new one before the deadline which is by the end of this month.

The unfit is usually mental and health challenges and not means of livelihood. I am no lawyer though but from the few cases I have seen, if the wife has no means of taking care of the child, you are to send money monthly for the child's upkeep. There is this popular actor in same shoe... He couldn't win the case in the court.

jueezyjaey:
Is it true that NOUN DON'T accept JUPEB for admission?

Kindly go to the Study Centre and confirm. That is where it is determined.

Good day house,

I enrolled for PGDE at NOUN in 2019, of which I completed my First Semester examination without any carryover. Thereafter, I abandoned the programme. Now, I want to continue the programme from where I stopped. Will my admission tenancy still be valid? Or I'll need to purchase another form.

Thanks.

Yes, still valid. Just go to nouonline.net
Click STUDENTS, click REGISTER.
Fill the form and submit
If you can login, then you are good to go.
If you have problem after doing the above, do let us know here.
Cheers.

Hello Enskynelson,
Please I’d like to ask about the PGD project. I'm in second semester and I heard rumors that you can't register for project unless you have completed a particular course called operations research.
I would like to ask if I can register for my project alongside my other courses, so I can finish my PGD this semester.
Thank you

Yes, it's true that Research Method is a prerequisite for starting your project. Have you passed the course? If however your are lucky, your Study Centre may ignore the prerequisite

Muyiwa762:
Good day guys I would like to know if I can use my waec results print out for my noun screening

Provided your result is not too old, not more than 2-3years ago.

It's been between 300 and 315 for more than a month now here in my location.

Urgent Information
Study Centres are currently compiling names of those who are deemed to have graduated but were not in the graduation list last year. If you think you belong to this category, kindly proceed to your study centre with your statement of result.

It only shocked you that your assumptions were false.
It will be bigotry to generalize it that all westerners are skull miners. But to say that skull minning is more rampant in the western part of Nigeria, no apologies bro. It is no lie and it is no bigotry.

I am from the north bro as u think anyone who tells you the truth is an IPOBian. No part of this country mine skulls like the western skullars. Every part have their issues, but in this, there is no debate. Whenever issues of the north reach FP, tag me

West is synonymous with school and I just thought of it that they really meant to say SKULL and not SCHOOL.
