There is nothing like turn of southeast with this kind of statement 100 years to this time you people will not smell that seat.

No turn for a while region but there is turn for a single man!

A wicked world where those that are to save lives become murderers.

Beautiful art here.
Like some persons have advised, please look for how this can be turned into money. Passion without money is number one distractor and killer of talent in Africa. If you are making serious money from this, it will increase your passion for it. All the best bro

balqees004:
Pls house, how many semester is pdg? Can I register my courses in two semesters including Project.

If u mean PGD Education, it's minimum of 3 semesters.

latoiya:
A question...

It is much more about the policy on education than any explainable reason and the onus will be much more on the NUC to explain because NOUN's duty is to only comply with the layed down guidelines.

From the NUC point of view it won't be far from the followings:
1. The minimum time should be convenient for an average learner.
2. The fees involved within the short period too can be a guide too. As shorter periods may make the fees higher for the period and impossible for an average student to afford.
3. And more.

It's like allowing completion of secondary school to be possible in 2years. Some students will make it in 2years definitelybut will an average student make it? It will then look like u have set too high a standard or making the majority of the students that cannot complete theirs in 2years look like they are not good enough. Any benchmark should ideally be OK for an average student.
The above are just my personal views on why NUC will set such guidelines. Cheers.

Are there any consequences if a University graduate a Master (MSC) Student within one year instead of the regular two year approved by NUC BMAS or can Universities set Thier own standard for graduation of student... thanks

Are there any consequences if the University also graduate a PG student below the approved NUC CGPA.... thanks

Good evening, please I need your help,I am a Master's student, I am through with my thesis but my final result is yet to be released. Nevertheless, I have checked all my results, I had A- 2, B- 11, C-1. Do you think I will be able to do PhD at any university of my choice ? Thanks

I think you should if you can have at least a B in your Thesis. That will leave you with a CGPA of about 4.0 out of 5. Most schools accept CGPA of 3.5 and very few set their requirement at minimum of 4.0 eg. UNILAG.

I will advise anything that can listen not to write virtual Exams. Most bookings for exam malpractice is as a result of writing virtual Exams.

Virtual Exams are convenient but any small thing, you will be booked for malpractice without the student knowing.

So, avoid virtual Exams at all cost

Check your mail bro. Cheers.

Staness:
@enskynelson please when is the next graduation list likely to come out?

Students are still expecting project results and some non-examinable courses. After then, we will begin expecting graduation list. As from next month most likely.

seunmohmoh:
It worked. Thanks. Can I still attempt Tma1 even thou it's past the date?

All TMAs are still opened and will be until the end the of all the TMAs.
Take your time.

seunmohmoh:
I asked what next after exam payment and this was sent to me by my friend who is done with registration https://elearn.nouedu2.net/.. I think it's for TMA and I've not been able to access my NOUN mail too. Please help.

If you have registered for up to 72hours, try to login with your matriculation number in lowercase both as the username and password. Eg. nou123456789

You cannot be everywhere and go far. And you cannot be motivated by just money and make greater impacts.

seunmohmoh:
It's been three days and my portal has not been opened.

Portal for TMA or what?

Saladdin:
Hello Sir @Enskynelson, is MSc Mass Communication and MSc Peace and Conflict Resolution still a 2 semesters program?

Also how many years does it take to complete their PhD programs in NOUN?

Thanks.

I can confirm that M.Sc. Peace Studies is minimum of 3 semesters. The same may likely apply for M.Sc Mass Comm. Project Registration has been placed in the 3rd semester.

The memo actually said based on NUC approved minimum for 3 semesters or 18 months for M.Sc, MBA, M.A and M.Ed and hence the change.
Check my profile for my email. Send me a message there and I will send you the memo.

kehnton:
Wow, I thought it should be like just 3 semesters. That’s fine.
Thanks a lot

This semester, the memo was released. U can no longer register your project except in the 4th semester. Same applies to M.Sc. Criminology

kehnton:
Do you have idea on the cost for M.Ed Guidance and Counseling?

It was made compulsorily 4 semesters few months otherwise, it was around 150k.

mrgbenga1:
Good evening,
Please I am interested in running M.Sc. Information Technology in NOUN.
