aolawale025:No Dear. Integrity is like a mirror. You watch yourself through it and see the goodness or badness of your acts. If you don't, others will use it to screen you and pass the judgment. |
45million naira is a huge amount to come from faceless people. Supporters or not, aren't we all privy of the way the current administration is probing movement of cash? Who knows if the donors of the money stole it, embezzled it, or got it through money laundering? Who knows if they are people trying to get undeserved favour from the corridors of power such that certain corruption cases against them will be slowed down or tactically frustrated deliberately or any other illegal favours that may accrue to the donors in return for their 45million naira and the campaign donations on the way too. I have no sympathy for any politician, whether in PDP or in APC or any other party. But we all know how wrong it is for somebody occupying public office to receive gifts. Its against the law. The Criminal/Penal codes prohibits it. The EFCC Act too. For those asking why: a case study is the legal battle now facing former Finance commissioner of Akwa Ibom state who is now being proved for receiving cars/Jeeps. Reading the available facts for the man's probe, it stated that he "received cars". All of us read it and admitted it was wrong for that former finance commissioner to have received the cars. Isn't it worse to have our C in C, who also is our chief corruption fighter to receive free 45million naira in one swoop? Next is to have his campaign sponsored with billions of naira. Then the corruption fight will be directed to only the opposition and those who made no donations to his second term quest. All these are wrong because of the integrity we claim, otherwise, there would have been no need to complain. But, why was PDP criticized before? Grayxme: |

yarimo:Afraid of reading? |
Kingspin:Integrity should continue to have the known dictionary meaning. Full stop |
Juliusmalema:Guy, take it easy. He is the president, don't forget |
yarimo:The onus is on you to prove what you claim. |
yarimo:1). You lied by saying "right of choice" exists in our ground norm. 2). It is an offence to transact a business worth 45 million naira in the name of another person without disclosing the actual name(s) of the payee. Yarimo, I had assumed you to be a very intelligent person. Don't make me see you otherwise. In your transactions at the bank, you are aware that both natural persons and companies are mandated by law to disclose the source and destination of all transactions above 1million naira and above 5million naira (as the case may be). Failure to do that is a crime. Here 45million naira have been moved to purchase form for our seating president by nameless persons and it doe not unsettle you as we fight corruption in this country. Let me as you Yarimo: if all the other presidential hopefuls, especially in PDP, 13 of them, have their forms bought by faceless persons or groups, such that each of the forms cost 45million naira and totalled (45mil. ×13) 585 million naira; will you still say its nothing but choice? Or will you question the integrity in the whole process? I hate it when people are hypocritical and display double standard. |
MyVILLAGEpeople:Pray to God! Work hard!! work smartly!!! Its that simple. Thank me later. |

EmirAbj:For the sake of history, it shouldn't be left so |
yarimo:Your are compromised. We all cannot be in your shoe. Integrity requires uprightness that do not compromise principles. If Muhammadu Buhari is a man of integrity he will come out clean and reject this courting from corrupt people. If APC is a political party operating based on the he principles of integrity, they will reject forms being bought for its members by faceless group who would rather hide under secrecy to do things incognito. Don't tell me this comment you made here is your best response to this fraud called "form purchase for his Excellency". In return the beneficiary of the free form will reward them with...... |
lolanews:Please, somebody should tell me, is our senator, Shehu Sani bleaching? He looks bleached, but I am not sure ![]() |
eodavids:Lalasticala, Seun, say something please. Let's set the record straight. |
ChangeIsCostant:This is a correct man. Doing the right thing there. For Nigerians, they have forgotten the poor girl. Even Buhari feels accomplished for "rescuing" the Muslim girls and have not committed to freeing Leah. Why are we humans wicked and heartless over the plight of others? |
Groovenaija360:Faceless group isn't it ![]() Public office holders ought not to accept gratification, gifts or any form of courting from the public. President Buhari now accepts gratification from such people whose source of income is unknown. What happens to all the integrity Buhari was supposed to have?? What happens to the fight against corruption?? We are not all morrons, and we know that people who made clean money through hard work and without corrupt means will not just start spending same in buying presidential form for a man seating on billions of dollar and whose wife and children are playing around with billions of naira. |
In the past, to be a person of integrity, one must distinguish himself and avoid people and acts that may cast aspersions on his hard earned name and reputation. Recently, on the occasion of the NBA conference, the Acting Chairman of EFCC, Ibrahim Magu adviced Nigerian senior Lawyers to always ask their clients their source of income before accepting legal fees from them. Magu said this in his critical statement against the lawyers as he accused them of receiving fees from corrupt people whose source of wealth could be questionable. Whether Magu was correct or not in the above statement is not the concern in this post. However, Magu may have erroneously applied the code of conduct of public office holders to a supposed transaction between lawyers and clients. What is interesting in all this is that public office holders are now receiving gifts and supports or whatever we may call it and that is not good for an integrity-conscious society like Nigeria. In the the slogans of the All Progressive Congress (APC), integrity is an important word as it was attributed to our President, Muhammadu Buhari. In the 2014/15 presidential election; Buhari made it open that he had no 29million naira for the form to contest the officemof the president. He however got the form and ran a campaign that cost billions of naira, cruising in private jets belonging to individuals whose source of wealth are questionable. Our President has indicated interest to recontested the high office of presidenct of the FRN, and once again, a group of faceless persons have gotten him the form which now cost 45million naira. It could be called a gift, goodwill or an assistance, but the only thing bad in it is that the word INTEGRITY does not fit the practice of receiving monetary gifts from possible questionable individuals and groups by a reputed party/persons. Hasn't the word integrity been bastardized already by our politicians? |
Okay! That is why he ordered the entire security agencies in Nigeria to disarm the herdsmen of the dangerous weapons they are carrying. Isn't is ![]() And that is also why he ordered the arrest of the persons who are responsible for supplying them the war tools. Isn't is ![]() Try harder, "presidency" |

SolutionMee:Wishful thinking ![]() Both you "solutionmee" and the CNN guy "abdallah" are wishing bad to the occupiers of the white house. I hope you won't light the Whitehouse your self. Just stay with camera and focus it on the white house with the wishful thoughts. When tried, you will go home. Nothing will do white house. |
sarrki:Wait Sarrki, don't rush. You are most indebted because you are a staunch supporter of pmb policies, even when not fair. Hey op, are children also part of this indebtedness ![]() Because you said all the "198" millio |
olajide8:Note that if American economy undergoes recession, the entire world will feel it. Desist from harbouring hatred against U.S. have you ever summed up the AIDS that U.S dispenses to countries of the world annually? Have you also summed the AIDS emanating annually from U.S. billionaires like Bill Gates and co? If just the AIDS going to other countries from U.S will be stopped, many countries will almost cease to exist. So know it, U.S. strong economy is in the interest of all. To wish the contrary is suicidal. China, on their part, are talking advantage of poorer countries. Tell me about ChinaAIDS to poorer countries if there are pls. |
By default, men are lovers and it is evident in all the families where the wives are submissive and obedient. This woman must have earned this love not just by putting to bed of this baby, but by being a "WIFE INDEED" not jus a woman in the house. Dear men, show more love to your submissive and loyal wives. Such a wife deserve more of this surprises. Like for men pls ![]() |

IbnAbdullah1:Ability to read and write in Arabic is leteracy just like English. |
IbnAbdullah1:You need not over work your self. This post you quoted was not a response to the Emirs post, but to a moniker who made a vague comment or are you really supporting that guy who said because a person studied Arabic, he mustn't be made to study or pass English. |
IbnAbdullah1:Surely, ability to read and write is literacy |
magicminister:Answer this questions objectively: 1). What is the essence of having an official language in a multi-tribal and multi-religious country like ours? 2). Is it possible to have more than one official language? 3). Where we have two or more official languages, which shall be the medium of communication in national gatherings? 4). Where the official languages are two or more, in which of the languages shall official documents be made? 5). In such instance where the official languages are more than one, do you resort to interpretation for those not hearing what has been said in a national gatherings (e.g. National Executive Council meetings)? 6). Or are you one of the proponents that Arabic should intact be adopted as the sole official language because of the claim that "more of Arabic was spoken in Africa before English" |
