I think Tambuwal, Saraki, Donald Duke or Peter Obi can do it but, we are in country where people vote because the aspirant is of the same faith, ethnicity or region with the voter.

But, do you know that Thunder will fire Luggard and Shaw?

Save the thunder. Let's have a united Nigeria first

Maybe an Atiku? undecided
Turakin Adamawa is not bad.
But, The road leading to Adamawa from Gombe state is one of the worst roads in Nigeria and it was bad since the days of Atiku as VP to Obasanjo.

Plying the road daily results in people hurling curses on Atiku for not doing anything on the road when he had the number two slot.
The road is being worked on now, but no credit to Atiku but to Buhari.
2ndly, the Obasanjo blockade against Atiku is a big trouble that Atiku must resolve or forget the quest.
(Its my view though)

Just stop trying to sow dissension and disunity in the SW. Some of you might think because I speak up against extremism in Islam in yorubaland—that it means they threaten or outnumber Christians. That is far from the truth. By and large, we are still very united in yorubaland and the extremists are on the fringes of our society. If igbos cannot trust other Nigerians, no problem. But stop making unfounded assertions on the religious composition of yorubaland just to divide us. Stop it now!
Easy, the point is noted.
I concur, let's not derail this thread

we can create a united Nigeria with hausa fualni stagnating us with federal character....u can create a united Nigeria with yorubas not been truthful to a glaring fact that buhari has failed....we can create a united Nigeria with distrust among everyone....

Is it lost on u that yoruba and hausa fulani understands themselves better and easily agree on issue even with it is obvious such actions won't move Nigeria forward......let's call a spade a spade....

U can't have hope in this current nigeria....it won't work.....

North is purely Muslim and west is 67% muslim....

East is 99% Christian same as south south.......so can u see why there will never bbe unity.....

Unity is achieved wen we work we minds that understands each other......

and if u check party lines ahead of 2019....
Sw is entirely APC same as north except Gombe...

Se is pdp, apga and apc(IMO state which is not even strong) SS is pdp and in north central we have taraba and currently benue...which is as a result of recent predicament in the hands of fulani herdsmen.

So is foolish or should I say idiotic to for SE or SS to form alliance with SW when the political lines and understanding are different......is that not madness....

So I believe unity will never come to stay in Nigeria......
Your points are noted.
But, I want you to turn to your optimistic side of syllogism. The argument for a united Nigeria is where I stand because it is 100% possible.

You can change your stance the moment you look at the optimism side of the whole thing. Trust me on this: our problem is leadership, not ethnicity or religion.

From experience, the easiest people to lead in Nigeria are the Northerners. They easily believe what they are told, but if you deceive them once, they will be "...twice shy..."

I hold no grudge against Jonathan (GEJ) but I want you to imagine if the single tenure pre-2011 agreement was not broken in 2015.

Look, Nigeria has clocked 18 months since return to democracy in 1999, but the north has held power (presidency) for only 5years.
Now if the south shows enough sensitivity to this fact, it help all Nigerians.

As for the southwest, they are free to play politics as they deem fit. But remember, the southwesterners as well as southeasters are not unanimously in one party. They are present in the other parties. You need to think and come up with what convinces them to join the wider, better and more patriotic united Nigeria project.
That's what we need now.

but the game will take all by suprise....

meanwhile for unity....is a lost cause in Nigeria....

Nigeria will never, I mean never experience any form of unity directly or indirectly....

Do u want to practice unity with a yoruba man....whoever enters alliance with them will have himself to blame and suffer at his own peril.....

let me quickly remind u that PDP is stronger today is coz Wike of Rivers state refused to play any yoruba alliance coz he understands what the end will look like....if he has join them today Apc will be manipulating Pdp....to their interest.....

That wike action singularly saved PDP and it also deepened our democracy......

finally OP pls forget about Nigeria unity....we can never be united.
No my Dear.

Give me, and fellow Nigerians hope, I beg.
We cannot continue like this.
Let's find the elusive solution, and create a united Nigeria where peace, unity and justice for all reigns supreme.

Rawlings (at Ghana) cannot have a better view of Buhari and his governance on Nigeria, better and clearer than Nigerians who are on ground.

But it may be easy for foreigners, like Ghanaians, to wrongly assume that Buhari has the kind of intentions, approaches and motive that Rawlings had when he purged Ghana of bad eggs.

Nobody is against you dabbling into a political abyss, but dragging igbos along is when you are going to receive the insults and bashing you never expected.

You are free to campaign for Buhari like some other lunatiiics, but hiding under " Igbo presidency" to campaign for Buhari"s second tenure by shouting
"Vote Buhari and get Igbo presidency" won't be allowed. That blackmail won't work !

Buhari doesn't have key to the success of Igbos. Igbos have faced the worst in the past, they have moved on and surpassed all in every ramification.
Go back to the recent report released three months ago.... SE & SS have the least poverty rate in Nigeria.
Northerners have produced more heads of states, but the survival of their masses lies on the Int. donors.
Majority of these A.P.C " Igbo presidency chanters" are aware that Buhari is a failure, some of them are ashamed of campaigning for Buhari openly, hence hiding under " Igbo presidency" to campaign for a terrorist for a second tenure.

Telling Igbos to support Buhari is like indirectly telling them to support the killings that is going on in this country..

Igbos know how they can get what they want, but no through Buhari who could not help himself in 2003, 2007 and 2011 until SW and NC that have deserted him today came for his rescue in 2015.
What more can I say other than a big congratulation to Kenneth Okonkwo while heading to a political Golgotha.
Andy is now too desperate for a normal Igbo person. His close associates should call him to order.

Culminating unto 2015 election, defectors from PDP to APC were applauded and welcomed. They included Governors, senators, speaker of Reps and reps members. Then it was OK. Falana saw nothing wrong then.

The law cannot lend credence to Falana's opinion now, because APC's hand are stained with their applauds and encouragement of defectors into their fold in 2014-15

Please with a clear analysis i want to know why people say Buhari hates the south east.

Is this true?

Look at the attached image before you respond.
Have you ever seen any serious legitimate regime that denied all south easterners the space to take part in security meetings of service chiefs?

Wherever service chiefs meet under Buhari presidency, discussing IPOB, or HERDSMEN, or PIPELINE VANDALS, or KIDNAPPINGS, or ELECTIONS, or BOKO HARAM, or RIOTS, or PRESENT AND FUTURE OF NIGERIA AND NIGERIANS, Buhari has made sure no Igbo person will be there.

The Igbos can only hear the diluted version of the discussion through the press.
Is that what you call love? For one of the major ethnic groups in the country?

Some of us have not forgotten that Buhari said, at the time he appointed service chiefs and people were complaining of his omission of Igbos, he said that HE HAD APPOINTED PEOPLE HE TRUSTS AND WANTS TO WORK WITH.

So OP, that's how to love, isn't ithuh
