PoliticsRe: To Say That Lawal Daura Was Working For Saraki Today Doesn't Add Up by eodavids(m): 6:21pm On Aug 07, 2018
coolscott:
I say this because while the pandemonium was going on this morning, APC senators gathered elsewhere (it is reported) and were being urged on (actually, aggressively goaded, according to the report) to put the signatures behind a Saraki impeachment.

From this morning's events as they unfolded to us, the public... we logocalize that whoever was behind this was trying to synchronise the two activities to occur at the same time.

i). The prevention of the PDP senators from being present,
ii). and the carrying out of impeachment proceedings on Saraki,

It a little bit of a stretch to ask us to believe that Saraki got the DSS to work for him this morning, and at the same time got Oshiomole and Buhari loyalists within the senate to actively fall in with the plan.
You can say it again

She may look like a deviant, but I don't know if the father would disapprove of it, considering that the father had advocated for the world (not just U.SA) to embrace and practice Gay and Lesbianism freely without hindrance.

If Obama confronts this his girl child, she will be right to tell him that she is still better than those gays and lesbians out there.

The girl is still natural, at least.

The Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo, has sacked the Director-General of the Department of State Service, Lawal Daura.

Osinbajo’s spokesman, Laolu Akande, disclosed this on his Twitter handle, @akandeoj.

He wrote, “AgP Yemi Osinbajo has directed the termination of the appointment of the DG of the DSS, Mr. Lawal Musa Daura.”

For the past one week, Nigerians and the entire world have been bombarded with the hue and cry on how the National Assembly's current recess has hampered the necessary progress owing to numerous approvals which the Executive requires from the Legislature (NASS).

Paramount among such needed approvals (they claim) is the approval of the over N240 Billion INEC would need to conduct the 2019 election.

The APC Senators, especially Sen. Ahmed Lawan from Yobe State had insisted that it is a matter of urgency to convene the seating or the NASS to consider the requests from the Executive, and not to impeach the NASS Leaders.

Alas, from what has played out today, it seems all that the APC had been wanting in reality is to have a seating of the Senate in order to impeach Senator Bukola Saraki and Senator Ike Ekweremadu as the president and deputy respectively.

Have the APC lied to us all again? With call to convene for considering "issues of national urgency and importance"?
TravelRe: Checkout Some Dangerously Overloaded Okadas Spotted On The Road (PHOTOS) by eodavids(m): 5:31pm On Aug 06, 2018
AutoJoshNG:
In Nigeria, commercial motorcycles popularly referred to as “Okada” are a necessary evil.

Patronizing them are often necessary due to the ease that they provide in order to get commuters to their destination speedily.

Okada-rides are often dangerous. However the need to patronize them is not particularly helped by the fact that so many of our bad road are only accessible by Okada.

Nonetheless, Okadas have become an essential part of the daily commute of many Nigerians.

Okadas are designed to accomodate 2 people at a time – the driver and one passenger.

However, sometimes, we come across some sights that seem to take the danger of using an Okada a bit to the extreme. It is the sight of “over-passengered” Okadas. These are sights of some Okadas who exceed capacity of passengers that they were designed to carry at a time. Some times, they exceed the passenger capacity by an extreme number. thereby putting the passenger at great risk.

See photos for some instances.

Op, you should urgently modify and correct the fundamental mistake in your post:
Tambuwal defected from APC to PDP, not the other way as you put it.

Your somehow right.i dont trust him fully.till ending of september when primaries are done before were sure of anything.but one thing i noticed is that apc have better strategists and tacticians than pdp.apc field personnel and top bigwigs are battle hardened and rugged.apc were the first to have a situation report room before pdp.pdp are more concerned about shortterm goals like defctions without loyalty.defecting is one thing, getting one to be committed is another.most pdp governors do not have any issue against buhari except wike, fayose, dankwambo.i dont see them campaigning much against buhari.buhari has really endeared himself to the governors by doing them much favours and giving them much room unlike past presidents.
Compare uche secondus who have achieved nothing in rivers to oshiomhole who rose from nowhere to overthrow anenih and the igbinedions.the gap is too much.even here on nairaland, pdp fans dont have much strategies on removing buhari apart from getting pvcs, his poor performance, hardship etc.how do they practicalise these,no ideas.
You've made valid points

Your correct, bafarawa was governor from 1999-2007 under anpp.wamakko was his follower.he contested and defeated dingyadi the candidate of bafarawa in 2007.bafarawa contested for presidency and got only 300,000 votes.he had 100,0p0 from sokoto behind yaradua and buhari.
The influence of shagari is overrated.its equal to ibb influence in niger and obj in ogun.buhar has always won sokoto except in 2007 when he was rigged out.i see buhari getting 1 million in sokoto with tambuwal struggling to get 200k.the northwest is buhari's fiefdom.only the sultan can affect buhari's votes.apart from buhari, wamakko is the most popular in sokoto
You should know that the permutations are yet to take its permanent positions before the 2019 election. Wamako may be on his way to PDP, you never can tell. All the politicians are Still strategising. Watch and see

From your write up, it clearly shows you don't know the 2 personalities. Tambuwa is from a minority in Sokoto/ Tambuwa LGA, hence, the reason while he was relegated representing them from the house of Rep over years not as a senator. Ordinary, if Tambuwa had come out without the influence of PMB in APC in the last election, definitely he wouldn't have won. Wamako as he has always been referred to as Alu in Sokoto was a 2 time Gov and presently a Senator. Comparing the 2 is like comparing Fayose in the West to that of Tinubu.
No, You can agree with me that Tambuwal is an independent candidate who thinks for himself. We do not need leaders who are handled like puppet by cabals. THATS WHERE TAMBUWAL STANDS OUT.

Gradually, you will know a Tambuwal is better than allbthe people you bank on.
Buhari won because he was packaged as a genius. The old packaging won't work this time.

Let me ask you: how many of the people who packaged Buhari in 2015 have left him now?

Remember, Tambuwal was a player in packaging Buhari for Nigerians to buy in 2015. You should be sobber now that Tambuwal is not going to play a part in packaging him now. And its going to be more difficult this time as Baba has not performed well.

Wamako is not the one who wishes to contest for Presidency.

Focus on tambuwal.

No Wamako = No tambuwal.

Wamako is not the governor right now but he can effortlessly shut down Sokoto and there is nothing Tambuwal would be able to do about it.

Wamako came to office as a governor democratically but was removed by a court ruling because he was still part of ANPP then when contesting under PDP.

They had a re-run and he won it again hands down.

On its own ANPP is more accepted and popular in the north and wamako is the face of ANPP in sokoto .

Now he has tripled his followership by joining with a fellow noble and force called President Buhari.

What you are seeing in the pictures is a drop in the ocean compared to when he and Buhari would grace sokoto.

Just make sure you have an ambulance near you that day because you just might suffer stroke.
You are not well informed.

In sokoto politics, you cannot isolate the Shagaris. Because they are relevant, but you took no cognisance of that. You are forgetting that Buhari was the same one who booted the son of sokoto out of his elected office as president. Sokoto can choose to remember now...

Again, your short memory did not tell you that Attahiru Bafarawa, who is currently acquitted of corruption charges, was a governor prior to Wamako. This same Bafarawa is popular in sokoto to the extent that at one time in the past, his supporter went into court room and took him away while the court was sitting. His influence in sokoto politics has not been noted in your claim that wamako is all things to sokoto.

See, don't claim the untrue. We know a lot there

So far Buhari has done little or nothing in uniting Nigerians. That is why some tribe and their trade is made to look like a thing of special interest to the government. But all of that tribe are not like Buhari. There are many that are truly different.
