TooNoisy: I still dont want to believe Wike wants to force Tambuwal on PDP. If Wike eventually succeeds then it means he is working for APC. Tambuwal has no chance against Buhari.
Atiku, Saraki and Kwankwaso will be tougher opponents for Buhari than Tambuwal. Tambuwal wouldnt even win Sokoto State against Buhari. It all depends on circumstances. 1). Tambuwal is from north west. 2). Tambuwal is of the younger Nigerians (that we all want at this time). 3). Tambuwal is a digital, educated and contemporal candidate. 4). Tambuwal has the potentials and tendency to unite our already divided ethnicities. With this good fortunes associated with Aminu waziri Tambuwal, wouldn't you rather like his candidature and rather mobilize people in his support if he secures the ticket? My lady, join the optimistic train. |

KenOne: Shehu Sani should not be allowed to returned to the senate. If APC make such mistake Shehu Sani will be the first to start criticising his own party and government in the 9th assembly just to impress Nigerians and PDP e-warriors.
Shehu Sani was the first APC senator that started bad mouthing his own party in the 8th assembly before others like Dino Melaye, Saraki, Abe, Abdullahi Sabi ,Dogara followed suit.
The actions of these people in the national assembly made Nigerians to say APC is its own opposition.
Good to know Niger state govenor made sure senator Abdullahi Sabi senate spokesman failed to secure a return ticket.
Good to know Bauchi state governor made sure Dogara left APC.
Good to know Amaechi made sure Magnus Abe failed in his bid to get the governorship ticket and senatorial ticket.
Good to know El Rufai made sure Shehu Sani automatic ticket was rescinded and will slug it out with El Rufai anointed candidate Uba Sani.
Magnus Abe and Shehu Sani are allies of Saraki they don't want Saraki to be impeached.
Both Abe and Shehu Sani have something in common they're PDP at state and APC at federal. Good to know you have convinced yourself this way |

fyneguy: Oshiomole was actually protecting Buhari's interest by giving those Senators tickets. The Governors are being selfish. Buhari needs those Senators when NASS resumes. The Governors won't be there to protect Buhari's interest o. But, Buhari is saying they should pass through the primaries. Isn't that fair enough? Or would you have Buhari collude with Oshiomole to corruptly grant automatic ticket to them because they are needed when NASS resumes? Do not forget, Buhari has said the war against corruption is not going to be compromised. |

The pastor identified as Joseph Ponda who hails from Tynwald in Dzivarasekwa, Zimbabwe, was allegedly caught pants down with an unidentified member of his church and was assaulted by passersby who caught him in the act.
In a viral video posted online, the pastor who was beaten and humiliated - was made to run in his underwear along with the female church member after being caught.
According to reports, the church is set to demote the pastor if they find the allegations levied against him to be true.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has disqualified popular Nollywood actor, Kenneth Okonkwo from contesting for Enugu governorship election in 2019 following his inability to purchase the nomination and expression of interest forms.
Igbere TV gathered that Kenneth Okonkwo has been begging his party members to help him out but all to no avail.
According to a source close to the popular actor,
“Whathappened was that he was hoping to get a waiver but we told him that the Party does not wave fees. Not just in APC but in every party you go, all the aspirants are expected to come up with their money to fund their nomination forms."
" Those that don’t want to come out themselves will tell you a group bought for them. In this case, Kenneth did not purchase his form by the deadline talk more of coming for screening..., " the source said.
The All Progressives Congress Party had set their nomination forms fees for Governorship aspirants at N22m.
Recall that the popular Nollywood Actor was heavily criticized after he said that the Igbos will continue to wander in the wilderness if they fail to vote for president Muhammadu Buhari come 2019 election.

Lesgupnigeria: Short Story on Self Confidence*
There was a business executive who was deep in debt and could see no way out. Creditors were closing in on him. Suppliers were demanding payment. He sat on the park bench, head in hands, wondering if anything could save his company from bankruptcy. Suddenly an old man appeared before him. “I can see that something is troubling you,” he said.
After listening to the executive’s woes, the old man said, “I believe I can help you.” He asked the man his name, wrote out a check, and pushed it into his hand saying, “Take this money. Meet me here exactly one year from today, and you can pay me back at that time.” Then he turned and disappeared as quickly as he had come. The business executive saw in his hand a check for $500,000, signed by John D. Rockefeller, then one of the richest men in the world! “I can erase my money worries in an instant!” he realized. But instead, the executive decided to put the uncashed check in his safe. Just knowing it was there might give him the strength to work out a way to save his business, he thought. With renewed optimism, he negotiated better deals and extended terms of payment. He closed several big sales. Within a few months, he was out of debt and making money once again. Exactly one year later, he returned to the park with the uncashed check. At the agreed-upon time, the old man appeared. But just as the executive was about to hand back the check and share his success story, a nurse came running up and grabbed the old man. “I’m so glad I caught him!” she cried. “I hope he hasn’t been bothering you. He’s always escaping from the rest home and telling people he’s John D. Rockefeller.” And she led the old man away by the arm. The astonished executive just stood there, stunned. All year long he’d been wheeling and dealing, buying and selling, convinced he had half a million dollars behind him.
Suddenly, he realized that it wasn’t the money, real or imagined, that had turned his life around. It was his newfound self-confidence that gave him the power to achieve anything he went after.
Let's face our fears this week with a new ray of hope and self confidence. We can only become better if we try. We can't achieve nothing by folding arms in depression. Our best is yet to come. I like your post. Its inspiring. But, you forgot to give the credit of your narration to the originator of the story you just told here. John Maxwell, isn't it? Failing to give due credit to the originator is plagiarism. |
