Did you know that today. . .

Today is the birthday of the Tootsie Roll? Leo
Hirschfield brought the recipe for Tootsie Rolls from his
native Austria. In 1896, he began making the candy bits, which
he named after his daughter Clara (whose nickname was
Tootsie), in his kitchen behind his candy store. He sold the
bits for a penny a piece. Celebrate by eating your favorite
sweet today!

IF I CRY

Vision of love evolve us both,
Entwined in a passion of a voyage in a love boat,
Intimacies god's felt and men loath,
Love in my mind the end was an oath,

Kisses we shared so deep i fell,
Moments my being dared the word fear,
So into you with ligthing speed i was there,
Heaven ha! I felt my dear,

Time my enemy chose to invade us,
Revealing your face hidden behind white gloss,
Travails of all sort erupted from no cause,
The END was ''Im Leaving '' a dreadful clause,

How then do you think to console me when you try, ?
My love is empty, my heart stack dry,
My being aching for touch i cant let lie,
What then can you do IF I CRY, ?

How Men Classify Women

So here is the secret of how men classify women. Read it and learn

1) Guy meets a girl at a party/club/affair. She's classy, sweet, intelligent. But there's no spark! The neurons in his brains don't fire.
They talk and agree to meet for a date. The date goes fine. He takes her home; they exchange numbers,
Here comes the familiar line, ladies: "I'll give you a call."
He ain't gonna call you, Dunce! Don't waste your time sitting by the phone, woman! Why couldn't you feel it? He gave you all the signals! Your phone number left his short termed memory faster than the Concorde! That date crashed and burned! Not your fault. He didn't lose respect for you. It was just biology! At least, I hope you enjoyed the meal.

2) Guy meets a girl at a party/club/affair. She's got that black, miniskirt on; legs like steel pistons; "Ta-Ta's" straining against the material! She's could be intelligent or semi-comatose!
What's he thinking?:
"SEX!, she saying something about her dreams, her life's passions, SEX, She's telling me something about how her family, SEX, Whoa, she's giving me her number! I'm gonna get some! I'm gonna get some! Thank God Almighty, I'm gonna get some!"
His intentions?: Get it! Leave! Make sure I don't make her too angry so that I can't get it again, when I want!
Commitment? Hell no! But he'll lie to make you think that there's a chance for a long term relationship.
Tell her anything to keep the sex coming. "Can't wait to tell my boys how she screamed in the doggie!"

3) Guy meets a girl at a party/club/affair. The universe parts; time stops cold. All of his dreams merge into a singularity!
Sex? He doesn't know what sex is! It never crosses his mind! Hell, he doesn't know what his name is!
This is jaw-dropping time!; praying time, "God, just let me get a chance to talk to her! I'll give all my income to charity; I'll volunteer to help the Special Olympics! Anything! Just give me the chance!"
She, doesn't have to utter a word. His heart was captured with just one vision. He's smitten. This is the Love those obscure writer wrote about through the ages! God, it feels good!

There may be some blending between #1 through #3, but these are the guidelines. Men don't deviate, ladies.
Women, discovering which catagory you fit into is not difficult. Watch his eyes! Listen to the words.
If you are in catagory #1 or #2- Have your fun, but never get committed. Nothing you can do will change his view of you.
If you are fortunate enough to be in category #3.
You don't have to do Sh*t!

Synopsis

Hanh is an HIV-positive widow in Vietnam. Nada, a survivor of the Bosnian war. And Jacqueline works the slums of Bamako, Mali. Three very different lives. Three vastly different worlds. But they share something in common: Power. These women are each overcoming gender barriers to rise up and claim a voice in their societies. Through their empowerment and ability to empower others, Hanh, Nada and Jacqueline are sparking remarkable changes. Fighting AIDS. Rebuilding communities. Educating girls.

Hanh learned that she had contracted HIV after her husband and daughter died from AIDS. Bouncing back from despair, she started a self-help group in Vietnam, called Immortal Flower, to give people living with HIV/AIDS a place for support, counseling and health care.

Nada is a working mother of three children.  As a refugee, she survived the Bosnian War. Her women’s association, Maja Kravica, is helping ease hostilities between Serbs and Bosniaks in a region marred by war crimes and massive destruction. Nada is building an agricultural cooperative to offer employment opportunities for war widows, and fair trade markets for families to sell their crops and livestock.

Jacqueline, better known as “Madame Urbain” fights forced labor practices in the slums of Bamako, Mali. Madame Urbain stands up for the rights of powerless girls who are often abused in the workplace or on the streets of the big city. Her organization, APAF, provides girls a basic education, teaches them vocational skills and places them in safe jobs

A Powerful Noise takes you inside the lives of these women to witness their daily challenges and their significant victories over poverty and oppression. Their stories are personal yet illustrate larger issues affecting millions of marginalized women worldwide. A Powerful Noise is a meditation on the inherent potential of women to change the world

I shall pass this world but once.  Any good that I can do, or any kindness that I can show any human being, let me do it now and not defer it, for I shall not pass this way again. We only live once in this world.

*William Penn*

Each of us has a purpose. Each one of us is busy with life's routine fulfilling duties as a member of our family, or working in offices that are financially rewarding. On life's path we come across a lot of unfortunate brethren who need our help. But we are too busy to do anything for them. Sometimes we may help them with money, but emotionally we cannot do much for them.

fellas,

Don't worry mon, this too shall pass. All I want to know is what really infiltrates/encourages some Nigerians to commit this kind of “crime”? If you ask me, seems like this has become a part of the Nigerian culture and a hobby to some but I stand to be corrected.
Guess what? Tourism is still booming in Nigeria. Nigeria is one of the most recognized/influential countries in the world. And in my book, you guys are smart and intelligent. See, there are still positive things to say about Nigeria and Nigerians.

I am not Muslim but i think most ppl hate on muslim because of their misleading and untrusted sources errr the media? Those that I am associated with (different ethnic background) are ok ppl. I think we should see people as they are (human being) and not judge them for what they are(religion background)

NEW YORK - Prosecutors have accused a Nigerian man of trying to swindle nearly $27 million from an account in New York held by Ethiopia's central bank.

The U.S. Attorney's office in New York says Paul Gabriel Amos pleaded not guilty Friday to conspiracy to commit bank and wire fraud.

The government says the 37-year-old man sent fake documents to a Citibank office in New York where the National Bank of Ethiopia kept funds. The documents claimed to authorize transfers to accounts around the world controlled by Amos and coconspirators.

A complaint signed by FBI agent Bryan Trebelhorn said the fraud was discovered when the overseas banks returned funds to Citibank.

A court-appointed attorney said Amos was in plea discussions.
