Confused OP.

It is okay to frown @ ladies sowing seeds to get married...but it certainly is not your business. After all, its not your money.

It is okay if you call the pastors thieves...but the bible does not frown against sowing seeds...and what is most important is these ladies having the faith that it will work. So how the pastors spend this money is also not your business.

But note, God is not mocked.

I don't know if calling your parents, siblings, friends, acquaintances and a random few the 'society' is totally correct...cos they are d ones that will ask u "when are u getting married"? One thing I know is...nature will call as time strolls by. At least, body must tell u its time.


The 'society' can't force u to get married but may remind u; can't tell u who to marry but is free to recommend; and can't tell u when u are ready...cos that has u written all over it. So leave d society out of it.

The message the OP should have preached: MARRIAGE IS NOT AN END in itself but A MEANS TO AN END.

People marry for all sorts of reasons...mostly wrong.

The woman is created as a help-mate to the man. What are women these days?
More pertinent, what are the men doing that the wives will help them with?

What role does time, ageing and the preference of men to young women has to do with this?

Gosh! The OP made it sound like women desperate for marriage are less than women. It is an INSULT to such ladies. It is a free world...they can crave for anything DESPERATELY but be careful that they marry a man of vision. Get education on what make him behave d way he does... Be a virtuous woman. Submit to him.

It is an order in the bible for the man to LOVE is WIFE. Provide for his home.

Jokes aside. This country is sick. This is a former Minister of Finance, ex-Secretary to the Government and Former Presidential Candidate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and a Yoruba Elder statesman that has been kidnapped. In civilized countries, the highest level of security alert would be raised to locate this Very Important personality within hours and try to forestall such from Happening again. But then again this is Nigeria where anything can happen. This is a very very sick country and i am surprised this is happening under a Buhari led APC Government that promised the highest level of security to all Nigerians.

Can this be traced to the withdrawal of police men from Nigerian VIPS or what? This is just as bad as the kidnapping of the Chibok Girls and its sad a whole Former Presidential candidate can be picked off the streets without a whimper of resistance. APC led Government must take responsibility for this and wake up to their responsibilities. Its over 5 months now and they cannot hide under the excuse of we are not prepared or handover security notes have not been properly briefed to Buhari. If GEJ was roundly criticized for the Chibok Girls kidnap, Buhari and APC must accept this one as their fault or are they going to blame GEJ for this one too? No VIP of Falae's stature has ever been kidnapped this easily in Nigeria and they should do everything possible to locate him ASAP unless this would further dent our poor security image.

I graduated from that faculty and I can assure u it will come to nothing.those lecturers act in union and will do everything to cover it up.don't forget they are lawyers and with the statement of d gal and d mother,they will look for loophholes to squash it.

As for d dean...it doesn't suprise me.if ur in unical or graduated from faculty of law and u don't know him then u didn't pass tru the skul.I know of so many colleagues he messed up and some had to leave the department.its very sad and to imagine he has a very beautiful wife.I do wish something concrete could be done because it cuts across so many depts.chemistry,computer and even physics u find such randy lecturers who would even ask a pregnant lady for sex.

Finally the management of the school should do something about this.this is not the first time a report of this magnitude is being reported against dis man and its always swept under d carpet to protect d image of the school.God help us
