well if U close the driver's door and open the passenger's door it says the driver's door is opened, and this sickness is affecting the central locks plus my ABS and parking break lights are on too.apart from that we r sweet.

yep but its all good, however there are few challenges to hump fru, the front doors are giving these guys sleepless night, I just summed up to buy new door catchers or latches. cos they have LHD and RHD designs. Im hoping Lejeun3 can shed more lights here.

write off from the insurance means its not worth it from insurance point of view to get it repairs

remember companies that do repairs for insurance companies charge like crazy

also like here in UK there are categories when come to accident damage cars and some categories require the car to be inspected after repairs by governtment vehicle inspection department, if the repairs are to standard then it gets approved then it goes to another different test which is roadworth certificate

once the car is approved by the government, the dealer cant just say they wont deal with your car just like thats usually they refuse after taking your car in and discovering what they might think that its to dangerous to work on it eg an secured wires running allover etc but not from the vin report of being repaired accident damaged car

U got it wrong, write of is a decission reached in terms of cost of repairs, however any car with any kind of chasis damage is a write of even if its just the crash bracket.they wont lay a finger on it.Check dont you see o n the IAAI and copart websites that the vast majority of accident cars sold are being sold by insurance companies?these are all write offs.

Yes it was if not they will fix it..written off does not mean unrepeatable , it simply means it will cost too much to fix .

Dealership sahre records via VIN number, it will come up as flagged, dont 4get it would be an Insurance write off and that would be recoreded as well,it wont take them 5 mins.

the car clearly is telling were the issue is and you are talking the car to an average mechanic

its a 2017 and from the basic study here most general mechanic still remove the thermostat saying its for cold climate and you expect the same mechanic to diagnose your 2017 car

Most the mechanics dont have a scan they can do ABS or Airbag

take it to the toyota dealer it will save your car from being butchered

Bross no dealership will touch that car, its salvage nahhhhh

Great news . The RRS came to life . Smart key programmed and we are game . The power steering seems to not bulge but we shall deal with it 2morrow . phew .

Cool so in all the most fuel efficient car there would be the Accent with a 1.2 ltr engine.
But there is a twist to this if you carry say 4 person as passengers it won't be that efficient lol your mpg will all of a sudden craaaap

I drove my（tontolo）Kia picanto from Ibadan to Lagos on N1500 worth of fuel, also to the office the next day. mind you, tontolo uses 1.1L size engine.

Now that's an Engine built with fuel efficiency in mind relative to its size .
Not naming a 3 ltr petrol car and talking fuel efficiency

Update, I think I now know what you are talking about, I believe he took the KVM unit with him together with the smart key to return on Monday!

When will you lot learn that a car's fuel efficiency is not dependant on the make rather its Engine capacity, how in God name can any of you open your mind and say Camry is fuel efficient when the smallest has a 2,2 ltr Engine? Really? Are you guys so lazy as to do simply research on the internet?? You'll want to engage in an argument of enlightenment and lack the capacity to do such. In all of the cars, you all mentioned which of them has a 1.6 ltr Engine? the only one that makes sense so far was the VW Golf someone mentioned it has a 1.4 and a 1.6 Engine. All Car in America has nothing to do with fuel efficiency. There is a citreon with a 1,1 Engine. the BMW has a 1,8 Engine I'm talking the E46 and F series.
So guys do your research well b4 coming online to sound ignorant.

NB: I bet *80% of you don't even know the Engine capacity of ur Cars.

yes ur guess is as good as mine, the guy just wanted to add time to his work to justiffy the N65k, I remmeber, in the Uk you need the car present to re program the key.plus log book and ID.Now the guy went with the key and a module ahah, 9ja we 2 sabbi package unto say if E do am there n then, I go argue say the 10 mins work nor reach N65k,But still Im just happy he could do it! make I carry my bag go PH sharp sharp.I don overstay my welcome for Lagos.Madam is not smiling

The smart key is fine as it locks and unlock the doors, you can even play the sound system and unlock the boot, just ignition wont come up.This guy already started the car with his Lap top, so he is going to reprogram the key

Now yesterday we met two challenges
1: the surround fitting on the speedo has a L and R hand side, so I have to now a Look for it in Lagos or B work it since its plastic, 4got to take pics sorry
2: Now everything done all doors working ie lock and unlock but the car is telling us it cannot find its smart key when it is even being held on the dashboard.I have called a dedicated mate of mine i n the Uk via wassap video and he simpply said to me your car lost memory and needs reprogramming.I now need a progrmmer for the smart key, I got contact of a guy who works for colcharis if spelt right, he is very busy, so nah time to pull him to the location, another guy says N75k to programm the key and he will deliver monday, so my People thats where we at now.
