Despite the federal government’s approval of $1.2 million for evacuation of stranded Nigerians in Sudan, the Civil Society Legislative Advocacy Centre, CISLAC, has accused the Nigerian government of a ‘fake’ evacuation plan. CISLAC’s Executive Director, Auwal Rafsanjani, on Saturday expressed displeasure at the plight of the students who are desperate to get to their families. According to Rafsanjani, some students paid some money to the bus drivers conveying Nigerians out of troubled Sudan. He alleged that the federal government has remained unperturbed as it failed to explain the situation. “We are worried that students are contributing the little they have to pay for their transportation to neighbouring countries which is very risky and dangerous because the government has made fake promises to provide transportation to evacuate them”, the statement partly reads.Over 5,500 Nigerians have been stranded in Sudan due to the fighting between warring factions since April 15. The escalation of the conflict led Countries to evacuate their Nationals. However, in Nigeria’s case, controversy surrounded its citizens’ evacuation. While some students had complained of neglect, the federal government said the evacuation commenced on Wednesday. But the Nigerians being evacuated could not arrive in Abuja on Friday, contrary to the Federal government’s claim. https://dailypost.ng/2023/04/29/sudan-buharis-1-2m-evacuation-plan-for-stranded-students-fake-cso-alleges/ |

Ogiame:You want to kill iyaegbe awon oloshelu be dat oo. Beta leave her with her political comments. That's enough for her |
Ese and Tobi...the heroines of our time, doing Africa proud |
DuchessAmanda:On a weekend, just come to Alimosho. Drive through Egbeda, Alagbado, AIT or Ekoro Area. There are decent estates in these areas where you could rent or build. You'd enjoy light up to 20 hours daily at AIT area and get to the airport or ikeja in 30 minutes or less, if you leave around 5:30am. Ojodu/berger, Ogudu GRA and Ogba too are ok. Security is guaranteed in these locations |
saphiere:I partially agree with you. Both men and women share in this blame. Because this topic harps on premature ejaculation and weak election, I'd not want to dwell much on infertility. Infertility and quick ejaculation or weak erection aren't the same but interwoven. Men should stop those habits as advised by you, yes! Women too should always play safe and avoid anything that could lead to unwanted pregnancy before marriage. This ushers in all manner of infertility as seen today, from infection, to damaged womb due to abortions. If you're not done with child bearing or you're not yet married, don't try family planning, don't engage in any form of contraceptives. All these contribute to infertility in women whenever they're ready to have children. I had a female fiend back in the days. Very pretty with great banging body. I met her while in transit. By the time I arrived at my destination, I noticed her luggage was so heavy as she was seen dragging it with both hands and mine was quite light so I offered to help. She got into a cab, and I left her. In short, we became very close. She had a bf. Anytime she's on and the guy needed to see her, she'd take a drug to stop that period from flowing. I told her it wasn't right. How can you stop what was supposed to come out naturally cos of sex and she said the guy would leave her, should she say no. That means he loved her cos of sex. I was the one who later separated them. Now, on infertility which is a major topic on its own. Not all of such cases arise from bad past or medical issues. Sex education is needed and this doesn't have limits. My friend who got married once had this problem too. They were both medically ok. I told him guy, how do you sleep with your wife... i.mean, which sex position? He said normal position naw, but each time, the sperm would flow outside immediately after pulling out and I said , why not try reaching her from the back? Just remain there for a few minutes after you cum to allow the sperm flow in, up to the last drop, then you can pull out thereafter. He tried this and about a month and half later, he came with a wine. I was like, kilode naw? Abi you dey come from one party ni? He said no, he just came to appreciate me for the advice I gave him cos it worked. His wife was pregnant. He adopted same method for his 3 children oo. Naturally I'm not the type who couid get satisfied by one lady,.no matter how strong or good you might claim to be in bed. I must win. It must be 3sum always. Many men can't eat what I eat. They'd think they're crazy. But after I got married, I stuck to her only. Even though not convenient, I had to control the habit. What men eat or drink contributes to their infertile life. This is a serious issue and I hope NL would create a different thread for family living and marriage. It's very important. |
Gerrard59:Yes naw. |
concho:Clogged or faulty fuel pump. Go have it checked. Don't go for any scan, except you just want to waste your money. |
EriMma1:Bubu has suspended censors . This government is so useless |
jackcanfield:Which needful? The one he did by shutting the border for years only ended up hurting our economy. The cost of rice rose up arbitrarily. Amazingly during same period, cefa became more stronger so, who lost? Check out the rate of cefa to naira today. Naira is like nothing |
This is plaguing millions of homes in Nigeria today. Those affected are just covering their problems with clothes. The second marital menace is infertility. If their gatemen aren't doing their wives secretly, na maigad go dey do am. But this can stop if they're willing to find a solution to it Modern lifestyles contribute majorly to these problems. I went for a project inspection in a remote area in kwara state sometime ago. The name of the place is Kosubosu in Baruten local government. It shares boundaries with the nupe people in Niger state. One could cross to Benin Republic via one of the tiny paths there too. Their women don't wear clothes, except the enlightened few. The dwellers didn't allow us take pictures of them as they were always monitoring us. There was this community head who welcomed us warmly. One night he hosted us at his place, he told us he had 20 children and 4 wives. He shared some tips on the cause of infertility which this generation must avoid. He said anything made of sodium glutamate should be totally avoided. He also said fast foods should be totally avoided. Noodles according to him.had done a lot of damage to people's health. I asked him, which solution could he proffer to those suffering from erectile dysfunction and infertility. He said , tell them to stop alcohol and drugs. Not only that, he said diet too helps. As a kid, he said his dad would never eat eggs coming from poultry farms, that he taught them to be eating the eggs produced naturally via copulation. Any man with infertility problems should be eating eggs produced naturally via copulation by both fowl sexes and decist from eating eggs produced with chemical foods, that its not natural. We saw his 4 wives, looking very healthy and slim. He said women with too many fats would likely have infertility issues. That they should refrain from fatty and fast foods as well...because these are the type of foods common in many homes today. The man was in his 60s, looking much younger. He said weekly, he must eat crayfish grinded with millet and groundnuts. He could cook or make soup with it and eat once in a week. His skin was glowing. He said they all go to farm daily and that's their own form of exercise. He talked of eating natural and fresh vegetable too. They grow groundnuts and carrots in that community. Maybe, anyone having those problems reading this could find something useful as well. |
Thanks to Onyema for this great gesture. Our givernment would have been waiting for UN to evacuate our youths they've failed to give a better future. Each time I hear Nigerians are schooling in some unimaginable countries, I simply shake my head. |
Theicecode:You're so wise. I've pulled almost all my friends staying in Lekki out to the mainland. Lekki is a glorified slum. Light no dey, good water no dey, maintenance cost is so high cos of the salty nature of the soil. You keep painting and replacing pipes. Which kain self-inflicting bondage be dat? Come out to work sef, na to sleep for inside traffic. Come to the airport, you'd almost miss your flight. |
inoki247:Did you read the post or you just jumped here to comment? The hostel was donated by Gen. T.Y. Danjuma to UNIBEN on behalf of his wife who, hails from Edo State, not built by edo state govt. Obaseki was only invited to commission it. |
If your country is respected globally, other countries would treat you with respect. Not ordinary Benin Republic nationals wouid be so stranded. Everything boils down to leadership. They don't respect us outside |
Thegamingorca:Where did I say he's an American? Did you read my post at all? He's a Nigerian, travelled to america to school in the 80s but never went to school rather he joined a bad group. He came back home later. He wanted to go to Canada for a mission work so we met at the Canadian embassy...he was just advising us. We were discussing generally while on queue. The security had not yet called us in so the man shared hus experience. |
EDOLUWA:No. He's now a pastor, an old man |
This is small, compared to what a man told me he gave birth to, some years back while in the US. He left for America in his early 20s. On getting to US, he refused to go to school and joined a group in the aurora area of Chicago. According to him, he was always worried as some married women would stay with their husbands without a child. One day, he found his way into a married woman and they became friends. She got her pregnant. The husband was so happy, thinking it was his effort. The woman introduced this man to her friend, and he kept impregnating them. Before doing this, they'd both enter into an agreement that, he'd not claim the child. Once pregnancy was confirmed, he'd be paid off. He left for another state and continued. According to him, women kept coming. Some had 2-3 kids through him. He said he kept seeing his children left, right and centre but couldn't claim them. He said they were more than 700 in different states he lived. He was in his 60s when I met this man at the Canadian embassy at anifowoshe, off kofo abayomi, about 18 years ago. He had repented from his nasty way of life. He also came for his visa. He was a pastor of a church who was going on a mission trip to Canada. He said he gave his life to Christ and stopped the act. |
Ihateheadslamer:Blame the apc-led government who destroyed our education. Those youths are only looking for what is lacking in Nigeria elsewhere. As a foreigner in Sudan, you enjoy same benefits as citizens. Those saying our youths are studying only Islamic education in Sudan are very wrong. They study other courses too and their universities don't go on strike. They're well equipped. |
Chopping time. They'd say its not bad. I still don't see how the apc looks different from the pdp. Earlier today, despite spending so much, those bus drivers conveying nigerians who were mainly students reportedly stopped in the middle of Sahara desert on their way to a safe corridor ( e.g, Egypt) because, they were not paid. Yeye people in government |

DIIGZ:Hmmm. I just met a fake Audiologist online tonight . Maybe a search on Google would liberate you. Your comment is like telling a pepper seller he's selling tomatoes |
kpakpakpa:Me i no know oo. It doesn't cost that much..it's available here in Nigeria |
kpakpakpa:Has any of those doctors you visited recommended a hearing aid? A former governor in the middle belt once had a worst condition, one of his children too. Today, he can hear well. He still wears it around. |
BOLATINUBU01:Yes, in blowing grammar. Go to Ado Ekiti and come back. I'm sure you'd swallow your comment with the situation of the road. The last time I visited, I worked on my tyre twice. |
And so? We attend conferences regularly all over the world but nobody is making any noise about it. Lazy people |
Indigbo:Try flipkey or hipcamp. They're still looking for guests around the globe so, you'd find amazimg deals with them. Someone suggested Airbnb earlier. It's also good but dem don chop belle full now. Use greyhounds with your family to NY from NJ as previously suggested and alight at either NY Washington Bridge or NY Port Authority Station, depending on where you're going in NY, you can join the train from either of these stations. Choose any greyhounds route with less number of stops cos of family. Train stations are always congested in that axis, coming to NY. If you were alone, better for you and that's why I'm suggesting a greyhounds bus. In case you're leaving for your destination via NY JFK at the end of your visit, enter a train anywhere going to Sutfin Builevard. Alight there and find your way right into NYJFK Airport. Its less stressful this way with your family. |
Sexual pleasure with your husband, yes! Not by committing fornication in exchange for money |

What the useless national assembly couldn't do...kudos to pir youths |
Feintline:Whereas, jagaban has 3 oshara private jets. Hope you know this. None of them is being released for a patriotic cause. Nigerians haven't learned any lesson. Time go soon reach. We have many billionaires in Nigeria too. They're just pretending they didn't hear the news. Let it be about politics, which is the conduit pipe from which they'd suck the masses dry. You'd see them empathising with disaster victims and be donating money and bags of rice, just because they're looking for your votes |
