captainking:Abeokuta only |
Yahksbiz:Does he even know whet twitter is all about all these calls should have been better directed at Garuba Sehu and Lai mohamed who comment on behalf of buhari on twitter lool |
Shameful! |
Briells:Go to Abeokuta Passport Office and ask of Assistant Controller Santa. Thank me later |
maasoap:Economy, communication, social engagements, etc. All the MDAs are on twitter, including Police, DSS, Army, governors and NA members. Economically, several Nigerians earn legitimate income on twitter daily in imillions by advertising and selling their products to the outside world and they get paid in dollars. The dollar back home strengthens our naira. The benefits are huge. |
Makeorbreak:New applications are on. There is no justifying reaso for suspending you...did you commit any offence? |
Yiibos are never united. Always betraying themselves...spits |
Those are the people who are well-informed and educated. Not the online warriors who jump on threads to spew trash in support of ineptitude. |
omonnakoda:LOL. I will join seun in cursing anybody or entity who threatens( not even banning oo) to ban NL because this is the only medium where i read veritable news and contribute to ease work stress. I have stopped buying newspapers since i joined NL . In case you need anything , house oo, materials oo electronics oo, just name it...NL is the best place to get them. |
socialmediaman:I said it's fake. If you need a passport, let me know. I can direct you. FYI, I am not a fan of this inept government but the news is not genuine. |
abbey621:Which constitution...? the one i hold a copy or another one? Pull out the Buhari's copy of the tweet from the archive and analyse it yourself. Buhari messed up big time. Nobody is in support of crime. I abhor it too. I escaped the ESN attack in Imo, same day Gulak was murdered. I boarded a port harcourt-bound flight from Lagos 2 days earlier, to return via owerri. Owerri was like a ghost town. The twit was ill-timed and genocidal in nature. I expected buhari to have apologized instead and mentioned clearly that he was referring to IPOB and ESN or arsonists... and not the South East in the period they were mourning their family and loved ones lost in the war. As a Yorubaman, my only uncle from the maternal side lost his life in that civil war. My mum and her siblings had to trick my grandma until her death by contributing money and giving it to her that her son said he should give her...though she suspected he had been killed in the war. I wonder what could be more traumatizing than that. He was one of the recruits on short military training to fight in the civil war. Buhari is known for making unguarded, inflamatory comments. I thought old age would have washed such a habit off his mind. |
maasoap:What amendment? Kindly post it here if you know if any. Rules are rules. Donald trump's tweets were pulled down as a serving president , nothing happened. Let's wait and see who will beg who. |
garfield1:Twitter will never beg. The content in the newspost showed the federal government rather, would be the one to reverse their decision...just watch. Dem no get that kain liver. I will come back to you in a few hours to come after the ban would have been lifted. |
Hahahaha. Cowards. Dem no born dem well nah. What a backward-thinking government. Eleriibu dee dee. Where are those myopic online warriors backing these dingbats ? It's baffling to note that Nigeria had become such a shallow-thinking entity under this inept government. Will they now compensate those who had lost millions of dollars since the ban of twitter took effect? Same people were shouting that there was no dollar, that people in the diaspora should please remit money home to alleviate the pressure witnessed in the forex market as a result of scarcity of USD. Those defending this government need to have their brains checked. Something must be wrong somewhere. You have failed to provide that millions of jobs for our teeming youths as promised them in 2015, yet those who had decided to hustle legitimately by taking their products and services to twitter had been driven out of jobs by the ban. The Umoren of a girl who was raped to death had her killer arrested via the help of the social media. The military who gather intelligence in the restive regions use twitter to reach to others... nearly all the embassies and diplomatic missions are on twitter, same with multinationals and NGOs...those who must have lost a lot since the ban took effect. Nigeria government will always cite bad examples for their actions, instead of citing places or countries where twitter had paid off. shame! |
socialmediaman:Where did you get this fake news from? Better go and apply for a new passport if you need one, as applications have started flowing in. Be informed for once and stop believing in fake news flying upandan |
These people do not want Nigeria to develop, they are only pretending. Scrap the military 1999 constitution, you refused...okay, let us go back to the 1963 constitution so that we can reduce government spending and be regionally independent, they refused...anyone who believes in this people is dead while alive. the same will be showering 5k on youths during elections, giving them guns to intimidate people and snatch ballot. Shame on those who believe in these thieves. No going back on Yoruba nation. Enough of monkey dey chop and baboon the work. We want to move forward and not backward anymore |
AdolfHitlerxXx:You do agree that what...that TBJ died in hospital? There are several children of the devil outside, looking for whom to pull down. I thought she was going to say he slept with her, just to discredit this man but I didn'tsee anything close. What's wrong about him encouraging the members on divine healing which he had been an advocate of...is that a sin? This man doesn't stiffen the neck of church members all in the name of donations. Asking people to imbibe his culture isn't even by force. He didn't force anyone to buy any anointing oil. Both those who had the money to buy and those who didn't got healed in his church. It was a means of raising money by those who had the money. Those monies would still end up in the less privileged pockets. When was TBJ seen in the hospital? She must have been the nurse who attended to him or his PA. |
hotwax:we all know. He's the one brainwashing Muslim youths calling Sunday Igboho (a confirmed traditionalist who urged youths to go and learn how to do juju) a Christian, just because of the word Sunday linked to his name. Don't mind that idiot of a guy. |
Twitter has been banned, crypto has been banned and meanwhile, you expect the same youths you've thrown out of jobs to vote you guys in 2023? Expect a replica of endsars soon. These people are the enemies of the masses. They're really scared. I doubt if they consider the dire consequences of the ban. Since you've failed to provide jobs for the youths, why not allow them make their legitimate money on Twitter and crypto jęęhęly? |
mu2sa2:Only an ignorant speaks this way. Not strange. You can never speak in English if you don't understand the language, impossible! |
Setting the record straight, I'm not among the myopic beings in Yorubaland ( and I'd never be). Going down the memory lane as an undergraduate in ibadan in those days, a fight broke out at Kraal ( otherwise called Kara) in Moniya at an abbatoir( I wouldn't know if its still there till date or not). Gen Buhari came from Kaduna with his team to meet with Late Gov Lam Adesina in Ibadan, warning him sternly of attacking his people instead of suing for peace between yoruba and fulanis as a leader. Whereas, both fulanis and yorubas lost their lives in that deadly fight in which people were slaughtered like ram, both male and female alike. We couldn't find our way to Ilorin where I was schooling back then.. no internet, no gsm, no social media as of then. Those of you licking the ass of fulanis you need to think twice. Some fulanis are nice and peaceful no doubt and we still have such amongst us doing their business and we do protect them as seen along our highways with their cattle, but there are some deadly ones amongst them, sent on a different mission. Sunday igboho who's against such faction isn't our problem but our selfish leaders who are busy brainwashing some amongst us. Those saying Sunday igboho is a Christian as being maintained by some religious bigots to achieve their selfish end, hear this...Igboho is a confirmed traditionalist who doesn't call the name of Jesus or Allah. Sunday attached to his name had nothing to do with Christianity, he was simply born on a Sunday and he doesn't know Christ or go to church. I've seen Muslims bear Sunday too. Those comments made by Sunday Igboho about pastor adeboye and other men of God for not supporting the Od'ua Republic is a proof he doesn't belong there. A couple of years back, this government said openly that, the killer herders were foreigners. The moment people began to condemn their RUGA and Open Grazing provision plan, they began to come out of their shells, left right and centre to condemn those opposed to RUGA and Open Grazing and supporting ranching...but they called them foreigners. This brings into fore a question that...do these people truly have an agenda? It's worrisome to start defending those whom you called foreigners against the safety of your own people you govern as a government. Hear this, any attack in yorubaland isn't an attack on either a Christian or a Muslim or traditional worshippers but an attack on a yoruba nation. Igangan which was massively attacked by herders up till early hours of yesterday which the federal government was quite aware of, but chose to look the other way is a Muslim settlement in oyo state. Their king who was showing support for the herders for fear of being attacked by the government also had his Palace razed....now I think they have an agenda. The earlier we reason logically and collectively in tackling this menace headon ,the better. How can Sunday Igboho who always says yoruba youths should go and learn how to do oogun abęnu gongo and fortify themselves with same, be a Christian? Why didn't he say people should rather go to churches and pray against fulani incursion instead? I believe we're wiser as as a tribe as many had believed and posited hence, the need to erase this religious bigotry which always sets us back off our minds and face the issues on ground squarely and decisively. Don't forget those of you living in the various cities still have your vulnerable family in the village oo. Oduduwa a gbe wa oo. Asęęę |
MummyD2020:Am not among the foolish beings in Yorubaland as you can see. Same buhari said those fulanis attacking Nigerians were foreigners. But when it came to banning on open grazing by the entire Southern leaders, they suddenly stopped singing the song of foreign herders. They started coming out to attack our leaders from left, right and centre. They think they're wise. Since they claimed they were foreign herders, why all the fight to condemn open grazing ban? Me I no he bigot oo because by the time it happens, na all of us ( Muslims oo, Christians oo, including pagans) will be affected...and we're already being affected because we can't travel freely anymore in our own land. All eyes must be wide open while on wheels...in our own country when were not fugitives wey police dey find. The massacre on the igangan people 2 days ago in the dead hours of the night when everyone was sleeping was quite gory. Igangan is a predominantly yoruba Muslim settlement. Can we say we would look the other way just because only the Muslim community was affected ? No. It was yoruba who was hit, regardless of religion. We must shun any form of bigotry and champion a true cause to freedom. |
Obaseki, my maaaan! |
abbey621:See the way you talk. You really lack intelligence. Did all the igbos nationwide converge and said they wanted their own country? Buhari wanted to exterminate them and he's not hiding it , period. When his brothers attacked, raped and killed their woman, what did he say? He will simply deploy military and police to the fulani community in fear of reprisal instead of protecting everyone without bias. Where were you in 2011 when buhari made some inflammatory comments which led to his visa ban by US/EU which was later removed in 2015 ahead of the presidential electrons? In case you've forgotten, I could remind you of the "monkey and baboon soaking in blood" comment. I wonder how Nigerians forgot all these in a hurry and rushed to vote Buhari. I think we deserve what we're getting. See the way his people went to igangan to attack our people 2 days ago? Buhari's comment was genocidal. No sensible leader would make such a comment. Why not dialogue with these people same way he did boko haram and reintegrated them into the society? Think about it. |
Guyman02:So deep. We yorubas can easily manage our country well, should we split. Imagine a retired general doing the work of the army and DSS by providing intelligence report barely a week before the idiots struck. Kudos to him and his team. I fear the revenge will be brutal. These people don't seem to know what they've caused themselves. The ojoo/moniya saga which drew the attention of their governors will be a tip of the iceberg. My yoruba people living in osun,ile-ife, ilesha and environs, please this message is for you all. I was driving along ife-ilesha highway recently and saw some people park on their bikes, numbering about 15, as I slowed down, all drew their attention at me. They look like young fulanis looking at their faces. They converged around the exit point on ilesha on that ilesha junction, (that road leading to their college of education) . My people, please be vigilant along that route and call the attention of the LG chairman, local vigilantes and Mr governor to this please. I was scared that day because it appeared as if I interrupted their strategic meeting. The moment I slowed down, they all zoomed off the location. Enough said |
It's high time this madam retired before her younger ones humiliate her out of that game |
NaijaRoyalty:Gbęnuę dakę. Only the stupid ones amongst us are asslicking the fulanis. They'd soo face their comeuppance |
The part 2( reprisal) of this attack will he deadly. I trust my people. |
calcal:Wetin small boy like you sabi. Who dey talk of Fe+ here when we're talking of oogun abėnu gongo. Shoot and the bullet will not penetrate. It could divert and hit the shooter. I know this would be hard for the Indomie generation to believe. Correct jazz still dey. Civilisation has eroded them off our culture. Sad! |
