MightySparrow:Yea he reasons well |
And some buffoon would be tonguelashing amotekun for the last week's brave act against the fulani herders who carried AK47 in that gun duel after receiving information that herders were burning houses in the oyo village. We need more of that pls. If not for amotekun oyo would have been worse than katsina by now cos of the way the past govt was pampering and covering up their heinous acts |
DSS statement is coming to pass. Just last week, they said they received an intelligence report of religious incitement against another region. Why not kuku divide this country as we are akways pretending to be one when in a reality, we are not ? Why is the north always harping on religion over everything? No wonder they'd forever remain backward. To say dem dey practice that religion truly, e for beta sef |
lexy2014:Hahaha....and they would be expecting customs to generate 2tr naira this year? I laaf at times when i see their declaration of revenues without considering certain variables...mirage is what I call it because non-oil earnings which make up our major revenue are being neglected. If care isn't taken, they'd not realise anything this quarter. You can't project anything on empty grounds. I wonder why some myopic sycophants aren't seeing this. When other countries have begun the race of 2021 fiscal year, trying hard to ensure they meet their budget based on the captured variables, our country is still crawling. Since last week of 2020, the CBN had stopped giving forex allocations to banks. I wonder how they expect the SMIEs to survive and also file their monthly tax returns to FIRS when no revenues are being generated. Eventually, staff would be laid off and what does that mean ![]() |
CBN no dey even send forex allocation to banks again for SMIEs essential import which kain government be this sef ? |
He may just have joined the Stingy Men Association of Nigeria ![]() So, let him see what he can do...lol |
Dansuqi:You should direct your advice to those from the south east, not me |
Dansuqi:orji is ibo, I don't know what you're talking about. Or do i sound like ibo to you? |
Develop yourself. Or you go into farming. |

fijihems:Naxo we see am. Unfortunately we don't have a government who cares. If you read my post just above yours you'd understand more, how useless the system is. Nigerians in the diaspora could have been given the opportunity to do this seamlessly via our embassies globally...you just walk in and have it done, o pari. We shall get there. They should just leave for a sane government to come in. 2023 is closer than we think. We are wiser now. |
Ezini:I'm telling you. By the time you get to the NIN centre to complete the process, they'd now ask you go and pay 5k to remita and bring receipt for harmonisation....what's supposed to be free. The first time I saw the NIN on my bank app, just below my BVN, I thought it was a mistake or an incidence of fraud so quickly I dashed into my bank branch nearest to me. There I was told it was legitimate and only those first set of customers who registered for their BVN benefited from the harmonisation and luckily, I was one of them. See me dey dance skelewu that day. This government is the worst I've ever seen. You can imagine the millions of Nigerians who must have benefited from this as well. My wife is even envying me sef cos she's been to 5 different NIN registration centres but couldn't get a slot yet. Yeye people. |
No wonder. I tried to check my NIN on their app with the one generated for me via BVN by my bank but the app couldn't recognise it. They had better work on this oo because it's the easiest means of easing the stress of acquiring a NIN except they just want to extort the millions of Nigerians who had benefited from this development through various banks. Yeye people. |
Tonyspecial:meaning every slay queen of today must go through ageing process. Live well, live good. Life is a stage |
...and 2021 just dey start ....Covid-19 not again. Stop the nonsense |
Covid-19 is a silent killer. Young guys, please ignore visit to your aged parents for now, if you still wish to see them around. If you must visit, please wear a mask and always observe the non pharmaceutical protocols abeg. |
MASTAkiLLAh:Waa gbayii |
MelesZenawi:Was it yorubas who said so or myetti allah in their usual lies? Have you heard seyi makinde say so? The herders were those terrorising the region and they got the treatment of their lives. They've been deployed all over the country, including your region. The onus is on your leaders to establish a replica of amotekun too before they exterminate all of you in one night and myetti allah would say hey, its not true. |
MummyD2020:which part of lagos was occupied by the federal government during the so called federal capital status sef? Those corporate headquarters in lagos and other foreign investments didn't come about as a result of federal capital status of lagos. If what you claimed was the truth, why is abuja not playing host to those great establishments we have in lagos? Non-indigenes are also in other parts of the country, developing them, mind you. Are you aware calabar and lokoja used to be the capital of Nigeria too? There's something unique about us the yorubas which you don't seem to understand. Maybe people need to study this great tribe well. 1 We are accommodating 2 Yorubas believe in leadership 3 The region which embraced education as if their lives depended on it the moment Western education came to Africa was yoruba and the trend is still same today. The proceeds of the education is what you see reflecting in those corporate establishments you see today in lagos. Wherever such developments are evident, people from other regions must come to live and work there . 4 Yorubas are liberal 5 We are peaceful Many great leaders have contributed immensely to develop lagos over time. Awolowo came and declared free education, developed our regions greatly with cocoa and cola proceeds. Pa jakande built what used to be the largest housing units in Africa at a time. Lagos was still federal capital as of then. He didn't do this with federal government money. Federal government was busy with federal stuffs while lagos state focused on developing lagos. Federal government infrastructure and buildings were concentrated on the part of the island and ikoyi at dodan barracks. Abuja had been the FCT of Nigeria since the 80s so, the so called federal staff stayed in lagos for 2 decades and a few years and their activities didn't go beyond those regions mentioned above. Lagos and yorubanation would have been far more developed than it is today, had tinubu taken cue of the likes of pa awolowo and jakande who had no copter or private jets in their time, even though they could afford one, those who didn't breed thugs to intimidate anybody who didn't like their faces. They weren't over ambitious like tinubu. I know awo's houses in oke bola ibadan and ikenne in ogun stare. They were upstairs on a plot of land. They played politics with fairness and maturity. Amazingly, Awolowo never travelled abroad for medical treatment like tinubu and other leaders now do, in spite their open promise to Nigerians they'd not, when campaigning...rather patients were being airlifted from all African Countries to UCH in ibadan in those days. We had foreigners schooling in UI and OAU back then to tell you how robust our university education was. What we have in the era of the self-acclaimed leader called tinubu is the opposite and some myopic fangs and sycophants , most of whom were raised with indomie noodles were defending him. Awolowo never took hard drugs and none of his children was in politics, none of them was iyaloja of sort, same with Pa jakande. Rather than encourage improvement of infrastructure in lagos, the federal government was impeding it then. I remember when Buhari stopped the lagos lite rail project of Pa Jakande in the 80s, for no just cause. These are same people some people are hailing today. By now, our transport problems would have been long solved. All we need to start doing is shop for a true leader in yoruba land and not a controversial one like tinubu. |
funmike83:Hmmm. Look out for bode George obasanjo, pa ogunlewe of ikorodu and even baba jakande who's almost 100 years and compare their current look with that of called tinubu in this picture then , you'd understand what ageing means. That laff is just a make belief laff...he should just take enough rest rather than rush home. Deep inside those laughing with him in that picture, when the chips are down, they'd disown him. Life has no duplicate. Enough rest is needed but the question is whether he'd listen. |
divinecode101:I'm not ibo. |
Can't believe this is Tinubu's image. He's deprecated greatly. I wish him quick recovery. I pray he repents while he's still alive. |
emmabest2000:This orobo bottle of mineral wey you dey always drink...beware of diabetes oo |
If I hear if.... |
Gokoyer0:Naxo life suppose be. Empty barrel makes the loudest noise. |
So, na im papa get pacific holdings? Dem get trucks like pure water on oregun road, ikeja. Kudos. He founded the defunct Pacific Bank as well |
Food for thought...Nice one OP. You might just be saving lots of potential billionaires here from becoming a wretch in life, all in the name of relocation. When you land in Canada or yankee, everything you see would tell you, come, come ,come but don't get distracted...those edifices and other infrastructure you see were put in place as a result of somebody's efforts from various countries across the globe. Several Nigerians have high rising buildings all over Canada and USA. They acquired their wealth here in Nigeria and some of them that I know didn't steal from politics. They're entrepreneurs with strong global connections. If anyone sees my small home in Toledo, close to Martin Luther King Centre, maybe they'd also think it's owned by an American, lol. This isn't about flexing of muscles and many of us here decided to remain low key...and anonymous shall we remain here as always. There are big boys here on NL who schooled over there but came back home at least, I know one who's a close friend. If you're in doubt of what might become of you later, should you choose to stay put, ask those who have been there for 15 years or more and you'd find out that the story is different. How you spent money before you had responsibilities over there would be different from the way you do, when you were still single and without responsibilities. One of my friends in his early 40s just got married in 2019 after much persuasion. He was never interested. I asked if the problem was spiritual but he said he was OK, just some few things needed to be sorted out and he's been there for nearly 15 years. If you must travel, go look for opportunities which aren't available here and bring them home within a short time. You might be on forbes' list someday if you don't relent, who knows? I had cited examples of some people who schooled in USA but came back home with opportunities, including my humble self. One of them travelled on a B1/B2 visa, even worked at Walmart as a store officer. His plan was to just stay a while and return with opportunities. The below is the link for anyone to read...on second page of the thread. https://www.nairaland.com/6343501/relocating-canada-huge-achievement-nigerians/1#97704072 Good luck guys. |
Seyzcham91:His son may also become apari tomorrow when he attains the right age when men's heads begon to go bald. His dad wasn't apari as a young boy. See the picture below.
|
Lol. Face mask don turn mouth mask for Amb obiozor mouth . I no wan hear stories oo. Make una dey wear am well abeg, most especially the old people dem |
Seyzcham91:Yes, him papa na apari, you're right but you get to a stage before you begin growing bald head, not from your childhood. That your dad is bald headed doesn't mean your head would be bald too as a baby. The other traits like head shape, mouth form, skin colour and facial look become obvious as a baby. Look at the baby's lips and mouth formation too..just like his dad's |
grandlexuz:what's not true...I brought 2 different male dogs home for my female dogs. The puppies simply shared their looks even with patches one of them had on the body. I don even know dis one teytey before practising it |
Kriss216:This one na him papa carbon copy oo. I know him personally. That head shape says it all ![]()
