This is becoming worrisome. Send your children to school, una no gree...dey build ile kewu up and down meanwhile, Saudi Arabia known to be the pillar of Islam were busy sending their children to Best school abroad and those who couldn't afford shopping overseas enrolled their kids in home schools all of which are well equipped. Their hospitals rank amongst the best in the gulf region. Today, their past is haunting them. The results are what we see today. Poorest region on earth in spite of the huge allocation going to the region. The region known to be breeders of terrorism The most volatile region on Nigeria The region with the highest largest number of out-of-schopl children The most educationally disadvantaged region... The almanjiris of yesterday have become terrorists today all over the North. We have youths down south too who could have taken to terrorism. The difference is just the orientation and western education advantage. Education brings life, liberation and enlightenment. Northern Islam is more of a sect than a religion, my opinion. |
This is new year. Abeg seek deliverance |

Machinegun-wielding fighters from the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) attacked the base in the town of Marte in the Lake Chad area overnight on Friday into Saturday, two sources told AFP news agency. “The priority now is to reclaim the base from the terrorists and an operation is under way,” one of the sources said on Saturday. “We took a hit from ISWAP terrorists. They raided the base in Marte after a fierce battle.” The second source said the army had “incurred losses” but it was not yet clear how many people had died or the level of destruction inflicted by the armed group. An army statement said troops “tactically withdrew” to defend against an attack outside Marte. Troops had “effectively destroyed” seven gun trucks and “decimated” an unconfirmed number of attackers, it said. The ISIL later posted a statement on its Amaq news channel on Telegram claiming responsibility for the attack. Without giving further details, it said seven people had been killed, and one captured, and that its fighters had seized weapons, ammunition and six four-wheel-drive vehicles, as well as burning down the army barracks. Marte remained under the control of the armed group on Saturday, security sources told Reuters news agency. Precarious situation Friday’s assault came just two months after residents driven from their homes by the violence had returned to the town under a government programme. It underscores the precarious security situation in northeast Nigeria, and the difficulties the government faces as it tries to return people displaced by the violence. ISWAP, which split from Boko Haram in 2016, maintains camps on islands in Lake Chad – where Nigeria, Niger, Cameroon and Chad meet – and the area is known to be the group’s bastion. Last week, the fighters attacked the Marte base but were repelled, prompting them to mobilise more fighters for the overnight raid, sources said. The raid was seen as a “fightback” after recent losses – troops recently overran ISWAP’s second-largest camp in Talala village, according to sources. The town, 130km (80 miles) from the regional capital Maiduguri, was once considered the breadbasket of the Lake Chad region. At least 36,000 people have been killed in the armed conflict since 2009 and violence has spread into neighbouring Niger, Chad and Cameroon, prompting the formation of a regional military coalition https://www.aljazeera.com/amp/news/2021/1/16/armed-group-captures-military-base-in-northeast-nigeria https://m.guardian.ng/news/jihadists-seize-military-base-in-northeast-nigeria/

I watched it too. It pretends a bad omen...a true situation about Nigerian state. No peace but they pretend as if all is well. Baba sef hit the pigeon cage with upper cut yesterday yet, they all refused to fly so baba com commot dia. Sanwo-Olu did same in lagos, no pigeon commot cage. |
BlackfireX:where was it stated that they were yoruba? Have you been to owerri in imo state before ? Don't near world bank area at night if you're not well fortified. This nonsense isn't peculiar to a particular tribe. You'd always find them where there's life. |
ednut1:Wetin you sabi. 2 of my friends resigned from the bank as managers because of unexplainable disappearance of money from the vaults. They were always in the custody of they keys but the money wouldn't stop getting missing. One of them paid a debt of over 7m naira as at 2009. The day one of them came to visit me, he said he was keeping the key in his socks when the issue became embarrassing, thinking someone was pilfering the money among the staff secretly. Still, money wouldn't stop disappearing. Na ignorant people dey fall victim of circumstances pas for this world. Tinz happen. |
Oluwa ooooo! See Nigerian future, I feel so terrible right now. ![]() |
Kuthum24: Fara bale naw. That proverb does not apply in this case. This one na professional fight. Kiise ijakadi naw |
We heard 95m naira in estimate yesterday and now its 100m naira...which do we stick to, OP. I would call this fight the biggest eda ariba fight . AJ all the way...anybody wanna bet? |
Some secondary schools in Lagos are much better in structures than that of HNUB. I've been there a couple of times. The campus is located on 1 acre of land ( if at all is up to that ) |
Nigerians don't have anything in their heads than such a topic as this. Na wah oo. If its not about dating, its about wifing meanwhile in other climes, its about new inventions, tips on how to get out of poverty, business and entrepreneurial skills, etc. This is 2021, we have to change our orientation. |
They're coming again in 2023 including yahaya bello (who doesn't even deserve a councilorship position in any sane country), with their sweet, fake promises. Accept them and face whatever comes your way thereafter. Our mumu neva do? For the first time in my entire life, I was scammed by politicians under the APC in 2015. The below really got me... Robust Healthcare for Nigerians and discouraging politicians from seeking medical treatment abroad Employment for 3m Nigerians in the first 3 years. Funding of research and education Total removal of subsidy and using the proceeds from same to build roads, infrastructure with images shown to us in 3D on national TV Ending boko haram war in 3 years because buhari is a man of war and had done something similar as Borno State Governor back in the days when the Maitasins invaded Borno and he sent them packing. My people , na who dem go sell all these to, wey no think say naija messiah don come? None of the above has been achieved so far. Even the preceeding administration's projects were being funded with Chinese loan by the APC, instead of using part of the subsidy they removed to do so, to fulfil one of the purposes of removing subsidy. |
Pharaoh4rin:See God speaking I've never heard of a retired Bishop contest any elections in Nigeria. This would amount to making mockery of his calling |
P1PrinceKT:I doubt if you understood my post at all. Read again |
Get antibiotics. It will disappear in no time. Mine grew below my jaw. I'd remove it by force and it would come back. It disappeared before I completed the ampiclux prescribed. |
Islam means peace and not violence. The Northern faction of Islam is nothing but a sect. When elrufai insulted Jesus Christ when Jonathan was in power, it was alright, because northern Muslims instead of condemning the careless talk, defended him. Heaven didn't fall neither did Christians rain brimstone. They should rather practice what they preach |
Kingosytex:Don't pretend not to know how deadly Covid-19 is and the category of people it kills the most because of their weak immune system. You may just protect your ageing parents by observing the laid down non pharmaceutical covid-19 protocols . Those who call covid-19 a hoax could end up falling victim big time and infect their loved ones too. There's no ignorance about this. |
10 criminals got killed, includingforeign herders who went to an oyo village to sack, kill and maim people with ak47. Amotekun caught them burning houses in their usual act and repelled them. There was crossfire on getting to the scene. Enemies of Amotekun would be spreading lies up and down but they've all failed. When a fulaniman believed to be foreign militiamen faced amotekun with gun, they'd be forced to confront them, of course. Fulani headers have been with us for ages and they're still there, doing their normal business. Those sent all over the country to unleash mayhem knew their motives but they've failed. South west isn't their destination so they must steer clear. I'm wondering why these haters didn't also account for the men of amotekun who also fell during the gun duel, just because they didn't like amotekun to succeed but they've failed.. it has come to stay. Anyone amongst them who misuses his position would be made to face the law under which they were established...people should stop all the nonsense. Only one of those killed was killed unjustifiably over an altercation and the Amotekun guy who did this and his entire team have been nabbed already, all of them to be prosecuted soon. |
Good, respectful gal. See how blessed your home will be. |
Na dix people go chop our money finish. |
Should Nigeria break up today, na South South go develop last. Their leaders are worse in performance. Cross river na im worse pass. That guy just dey build hotel for lagos upandan with people's money. He has up to 24 hotels nationwide so far and if you ask him, he'd say he's been an entrepreneur before he became governor the one in ikeja GRA is 5 star in rating . Senators, government contractors and those who abet stealing government money in contract are also entrepreneurs too naw. They inflate contracts by 300% and share 200% of it with the politicians who favoured them with such contracts and do a substandard job eventually. Now I'm beginning to reason why oil companies preferred to locate their administrative offices in lagos. Wike go rant taya, dem no go relocate layee. |
CSTRR:The problem is, he didn't hand over to anyone. He ran his shows all alone...to get this done would be very difficult. |
Such a young achiever. I heard of his death yesterday. He just opened up another IVF centre recently, well equipped. He's been battling kidney and liver related issues for long with aided defecation. You've gone to rest. RIP |
fid3fid:same assurances we've gotten from our bank oo. The situation is across board. The CBN kept assuring banks that they'd allocate forex , kept the window open indefinitely without updating commercial banks. How I wish I had my way, I'd have written to world bank and all our creditors, including IMF not to approve any loans for Nigeria for now. Hope you're done with your form m shaa. You'd need this to process your form q transaction oo |
Great news |
Good news |
fid3fid:Yea, greatly inpite of meeting all the form m requirements from Son PC Certificate to insurance by customers . They stopped allocating funds since mid December and the queue keeps adding up. What a country! |
Haaaaaa! |
Both the woman the guy caught in the act and the husband have lost their values the husband shouldn't have exposed them. Maybe he didn't think before posting on the net |
