Abducted Nasarawa APC chairman found dead The Nasarawa State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr. Philip Shekwo, who was abducted by gunmen on Saturday, has been found dead. Mr. Bola Longe, Commissioner of Police in the state, told newsmen on Sunday in Lafia that the lifeless body of the victim was found in a farm, some meters away from his Bukan-Sidi residence where he was abducted. According to Longe, the investigation has begun to unravel those behind the dastardly act. He said that the distance from his residence to where his corpse was found, coupled with the fact that there was no demand for ransom suggested a case of assassination rather than kidnapping. He, however, noted that investigation would determine whether it was an assassination or not. “The intensity of the bullet marks on the wall and the frantic effort to gain entrance into the deceased’s house is pointing to the fact that it is more than a case of kidnapping. “Then, where we found his body now is too close to the house. “Usually, when kidnapping is carried out, it is for profit, but when within a twinkle of an eye the man is killed without any demand whatsoever, I think it’s assassination. “That notwithstanding, we (Police) are going to carry out an exhaustive investigation into the matter,” the commissioner said. Longe had earlier confirmed the abduction of the APC chieftain from his residence in Bukan-Sidi, Lafia, around 11 p.m. on Saturday and taken away to an unknown destination. AlexBells:Did you know those who burst their bubbles? Not the #Endsars protesters who witnessed the lekki killings as the federal govt had thought but... CNN BBC ALJAZEERA FRANCE24 reporters who covered the events from the beginning. These were the unidentified reporters present at the venue. I was getting more updates on Endsars on CNN up till 20th of October when the military invaded. Channelstv didn't cover much. I was shocked what I saw CNN report on their channel. You'd never identify them because of their vulnerability to attacks by governments of nations as seen in recent times in various countries in which they were either arrested, jailed or even killed by exposing the government secrets to the outside world. These were those who exposed our government of lies and not the protesters. |

They'd tell Nigerians 2 million barrels of crude were lifted, whereas they've lifted 3 million barrels or more. The remaining one million barrel is unaccounted for. The so-called govt representatives and monitoring team don't get to this point where the shady deal is being carried out. They come in helicopter and land onshore to do meetings and take manifest from the oyinbos and then, go back from there. They give them fat forex as largesse for coming and they go back in their babarigas to abuja via port Harcourt. That's the way they've been milking us from time immemorial and why they handed over govt to fulanis after independence. When my friend , a senior engineer who had travelled far and wide was telling me this, I was in shock. He's now been transferred to their overseas office so I don't hear from him anymore on the atrocity perpetrated by these people of evil. Naxo I hear from channels tv. Useless and heartless human beings are the military of the federal Republicof Nigeria. Ordinary boko haram war, they couldn' twin, but could quickly go to lekki to attack the young men and women who didn't even hold a catapult, but holding only the national flag. That's a bad omen to the unity that binds us together as a nation. It's an attack on that unity and the manifestation of the is inevitable and would be catastrophic. The same army officer said to us a few days ago that they went to lekki with only blank bullets, showing the samples to the panel members. Now he's admitting to the fact that they also went with live bullets after the recorded cctv video footage was played. Nothing era was several thousand years before that time. The Bible says 1,000 years is like 1 day in the sight of God. In my own calculation, God created heaven and earth and tested in the 7th day. If a thousand years is like one day in the sight of the Almighty, then 7,000 years was spent by our God to put all you and I see today in place( thats my own thinking oo, not in the bible abeg). The earth had been there for only God knows when and the Bible and quran too are correct. But the earth isn't up to 100k years old, talk less of being 1m or 2m years old. |
