gracein:you made me laff . It's a pity ambode's political ambition was truncated on the basis of not being Democratic as the lagos apc and tinubu put it. Their not being Democratic means, he didn't share money with lagos politicians . He didn't also award contracts to party members who can't even identify a caterpillar when they see one. Democracy in many parts of the country is about sharing money and that's why they remain so backward. Ambode did so well in 4 years with the lagos money which he refused to share with them. Sanwoolu has spent over one and half years now, with no visible development to point to. Whereas, in ambode's one year in office, he had commissioned overhead bridges and roads. If I didn't know of any, I know of the millennium bridge at abule egba close to my uncle's house. All the roads in that local govt were tarred. If I were ambode, I'd have defected to another party to contest, if i win, I win. If dem wan kill, make dem try. Lagosians na only mouth dem get....maa luenii, maa gbaenii, orie gbajenii . Make dem come edo make we equip them with confidence small. We know say yoruba get brain but brain without confidence na noting oo |
dvdlamb:the vp doesn't have a voice in any country. He's there just to assist the president or represent him wherever he's asked to. The president is so perwerful that he can even render his vp voiceless. |
I'm with whoever said so. Tinubu can't win 2023 election. The buhari VP would be preferred and accepted by many, nationwode. We are tending towards an era vote-buying, godfatherism and money politics don't carry weight anymore. The international communities too are beginning to hit them hard by placing visa bans on them and applying other stiff sanctions. |
we saw it coming. I hope the oil and gas commisioner from that local government who was among those who first dumped obaseki for apc would eat his humble pie and come to beg obaseki as a prodigal son did. I just pity agbaje, that Ibillo law maker and his colleague yekini of somorika. Hope they'd be wise next time. |
weldone sir. You really tried. I never knew you could come this far. My prediction was 20% of the total votes cast but edo north proved me wrong. With all I've seen, you'd get up to 30% |
kalu61:thanks. Na so we see am my broda |
Lol Good morning my people, how are you doing? Hope you're are Ooookay...kaykaykakaykay ![]() That's my song for today. Edo no be lagos, it can never be. We've said it here a million times. They called me ipob and all manners of names because they believe only ibos are in support of the PDP . Maybe oyo state won by makinde are also ipobs. The election was about personality and not the party. Here comes the end of a political era for Oshiomhole. If ize-iyamu is wise enough he should join force with obaseki. It's our state. The Victory is for edolites. To the lagosians, the day you sack Tinubu from politics, then you'd see true development, you'd see how much this man had run your state dry and turned same to his empire for nearly 2 decades . He sits on the money meant for the development of your state and lavished it to achieve his heinous plans in other states . You only live once, just like you only die once. What are you guys afraid of? Your destiny is in your hands guys. Hope you would change the narrative come 2023. Godfatherism is a deceit and modern day slavery. Under this arrangement, people's voice would never be heard. We had several reasons for re-electing obaseki. Imagine with the huge resources at Lagos state's disposal, your governor just wanted to commence payment of minimum wage of 30k I heard it last week, same 30k which obaseki had started paying since January this year with the limited resources edo had. This election isn't about the party but personality. Apc, pdp, Labour, it doesnt matter. Look for a credible candidate and support him in 2023. He will win Lagos and nothing would happen. Do you guys know how much it costs to buy a private jet? Your man has 3 bought with Lagos money. Your state is rich yet living poor. Good luck guys God bless edo state and God bless our dear country Nigeria. |
originalprof:this is a useful thing. Had we started this way since 1999, inec would have been a step ahead in conducting credible elections and declaring credible results by now. This man has just proved to nigerians that credible elections devoid of violence with guarantee of voters' safety is possible. This would be first time in the history of nigeria that no single life was lost in a major election. |
WINDSOW:to affirm results already collated, signed and certified by all the party agents present, including inec agents in each PU. Same would be sent to the situation room from each PU. Whatever is recorded in the room must tally with the inec's collated figures with minimal margin of error which may have arisen during computation. The whole essence is to ensure transparency. |
fergie001:which results bro? |
samwillyco1:we know Oshomole showed obaseki pepper in his PU and its no news. Go here. https://www.legit.ng/amp/1367379-live-updates-voting-ends-counting-votes-ongoing.html The results posted here are verified and can be compared with those posted by punch, vanguard and inec earlier. Just keep yourself updated with it by refreshing the page to receive more results. Na Edo Central/Oredo killed ize-iyamu in this election .The results are so intimidating. Also see Ovia South West votes, this result alone has almost swallowed what apc got in the whole of Etsako Central |
UDUJ: ![]() |
samwillyco1:make una just stop all these. Rig for where? FYI, result sheets ( certified copies) are already in the hands of party agents, party leaders, candidates, inec and we voters, duly signed by party and inec agents in each PU. It was openly counted in the presence of voters too with record taken. Every loophole apc could use to rig this election has been blocked, if that's your expectation, sorry. Apc's rigging tool is outdated |
mightyhazel:haba. Make that time come first. I wan make him go rest after the 2nd term. He would have done much better. He's not growing any younger you know. Go and look as fashola today. He's looking much older than obaseki whereas obaseki senior am |
samwillyco1:even if they pilfer the already collated results, copies of which are now in the hands of party agents duly signed, obaseki has won this election. |
TheGodlessGod:Hmmm! So you never see Etsako own with Oshiomhole trashing our governor with no single vote in his PU? If i were obaseki, ordinary borehole, I no go sink there in the next 4 years. That's open hate. Congrats to GGO. |
EgusiShankly:that's inevitable bro and arrest was also made . Gradually we shall get there. I just loved the calm atmosphere today. We prayed too. |
osazsky:lool. I told somebody today that America is doing to the election riggers what our government should have done. Shame on our leaders. No election in Nigeria has been this peaceful since 1960 with no single death recorded. See the police becoming civil and neutral wow! The apc couldn't have differed. The 2016 election which produced obaseki wasn't as calm as this. More of the visa ban abeg yankee ![]() |
ileogbenfidel:Unfortunately, obaseki is not who they think he is. He would not relaliate. The victory is for edolites after all and not the PDP alone. Imagine Obaseki doing projects in Esan since 2016, a traditionally PDP state while he was in the APC. He will unite the aggrieved fellows. I see those who ran away returning by prostrating and begging oba to plead on their behalf. ![]() |
proeast:APC deceived many, including me but I don wise now. No thanks to Jonathan for allowing them to near the corridor of power with his lackadaisical attitude towards fighting corruption. I'm sorry to say but buhari too encircled himself with the wrong people. |
aghap51:Yes ooo. Please can somebody tell the bullionnaire he has overstayed his welcome so, he may now leave us alone in Edo? 4+4 don become 8 already and there is nothing the bullionaire could do to reverse it. An elder statesman is earned and not given or dashed. A true leader must lead by example and not by causing confusions in order to have his way.. Now I hope every sane yoruba following this man would now know who he truly is.. If you must produce a candidate and win 2023, dont dare make a mistake by presenting him. Those predicting violence, how far? When we say edo is not lagos or anywhere else, we mean every bit of our words. I salute pres. buhari and the security operatives for being neutral. |
Which fake results are they talking about here? The ones all the party agents have sighted and signed , then sent to the inec's collation centre? If that is the result they were talking about, it's too late to cry. Unfortunately, this election cannot be rigged by one extra vote in favour of any party. we don wise |
![]() |
Marvellously2Me:No more indications other than victory. He has won this election already. Anyone who's not happy should go to court. 4+4 don become 8 las las |
KingMicky3286:fake news. The original results are already in the hands of party agents as duly signed with copies transmitted to the centre. |
aremso:How far beos? I've not run away ooh. Hope you're seeing what we're seeing here lool |
Ernestforyou:Bros, how far nah ![]() |
Viktom: ![]() |
Eeeeh yaaah |
May God bring him back to life. No death so far as predicted by doomsday speculators on NL |
rowosky:yes |
MiztaSpark:looks good, if real. I expect more from esan central though |
