So a situation where the school owned by the church is only affordable to some few very wealthy members to me is fraudulent...

Its like contributing money to buy a church bus and after the purchase,only members with one million naira are allowed to enjoy the bus.,when every member had contiributed in buying the bus...

How can a church's school be cheaper than a government do you even know what you typed? You want to compare the funds the government gets to that which a church gets. A church has to go on missions, pay full time pastors salaries, build worship centers, organise events and spend on other things all from the tithe, offerings and charity donations.

Point me any private university that is cheap.

Do you want the private universities to create the advanced secondary schools we call federal universities?

Nigeria is messed up that is why RUN is expensive. If they build a substandard tertiary institution and accept less you'll be one of those complaining that they can't offer good education to their members.

Private universities are expensive all over because the of the cost of running it.
