yarimo:in a Nigerian corrupt university of UNIPORT. This is different. Surprised how Nigerians celebrate absurdity because of ethno-religious partisanship. |
finallybusy:Not asking how Nigeria will be. Asking why the wealthy prefer not to migrate. If you think it is because of their love for Nigeria. Nope. |
It is almost 12pm Monday 2nd October, 2023. What should we expect from Chicago's CSU? |
madone:Some people can't do without house help? So absurd! |
Why do most wealthy Nigerians prefer to live in Nigeria than to relocate abroad permanently?

Lands that have been sold to more than one person: customary landowners are fond of selling lands to two or more persons, this kind of land will certainly lead to disputes when it is time to start developing the land. We have an incidence of customary landowners trying to even sell a land that has been developed by its owner. |
Lands that are subject of government interference: a land that falls within government acquisition will certainly bring trouble in the future if purchased. It is advisable to avoid this kind of lands to guarantee one's peace of mind. |
Lands that are subject of inter-family or communal ownership tussle: issues like this are very common amongst the customary landowners. Oftentimes you have several families claiming ownership over an expanse of land especially when issues of land encroachment have been established. These types of land are quite dangerous to purchase as any issue on the land will be transferred to the innocent purchaser. Same can be said of lands with communal clashes, oftentimes you have one or two communities fighting over territorial boundaries, these kinds of lands should be avoided. |
Are they in a hurry to sell to you? Pause! If you notice any form of desperation, quit! The most important point is that if you are not convinced enough or if your mind isn’t at peace. do not go ahead with them. Trust your guts! |
Investigate their claims I agree that we cannot know everywhere, even if we live in the same location for years. Still, when they tell you about the location of their properties, make enquiries and do your own investigation as well. A fake real estate company is dubious of location, they take advantage of this. |
Are they registered? To run a successful real estate company, you have to go through proper and lawful registration. If the real estate company isn’t registered, you may want to take a step back. |
How known is this company? If you can’t find anything about them online and offline, then there’s a problem. If they are relatively unknown by people in your circle and have no tangible social media presence, then that’s a red flag. |
Watch out for address disparities Check for disparities between the official address on their page/website and where you’re asked to meet them. Any serious real estate company will change its office location on social media platforms if there’s a change of location. When you notice that their office address is completely different from where you are asked to come over, it’s a red flag. |
Check their social media pages You can spot a fake real estate company by checking its social media record. All you need to do is type the name on Google. You will get some information that would inform your decision on whether you should go ahead with them or look for another real estate company. |
Check their profiles No matter the make-believe, fake real estate companies’ profiles are always vague. Yes, they talk about what they do but at the same time say nothing. Ensure you pay attention to everything they say about their company, and if you notice any disparity, don’t ignore it. |
There are thousands of real estate companies like the one described above. Many of them take money from clients without allocating any piece of land. Forget signposts, here are things to watch out for when getting a real estate company: |
He described the kind of property he wanted, but they didn’t have it and convinced him to purchase a piece of land instead. Weeks after payment, Ezekiel realised he had been scammed by the company. The piece of land he had made payments for belonged to a cattle rearer and the real estate company was fake. Ezekiel was not allocated the land; he had simply been taken to a random piece of land to make the transaction appear legitimate. By the time he realised this, the company had moved from their previous location. |
Last year, Ezekiel was looking to purchase a small house he could stay in whenever he came to Lagos. He decided to make inquiries from a real estate company whose signpost he’d always seen. He was ushered in with so much excitement, as though they had been waiting for him, and he thought it was great customer service. |
Revelation: List the names of fraudulent real estate Agencies in Nigeria. We learn by learning. You can help others to avoid becoming their next victims. |
Who told them that Orsumoghu is in Nnewi South Local Government Area? |

Stocks that presently have Delisting topic are: Union Bank GSK PZ Oando Capital Hotel Courteville Many more to be added soon... Avoid them. Avoid them. Avoid them. |
KayOn1:https://www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2023/06/25/union-bank-shareholders-to-get-n7-ser-share-from-titan-trust-bank Nothing has changed. |
If we blame the management of Oando company, what then do we do to those who continue to promote the company and even encourage the public to buy it? Do we sweep it under the carpet, with the excuse that the stock market is a risk market and everyone deserves what he or she gets? Where then lies Fairness? Agreed there are greedy traders who jump at every opportunity to make quick money no matter how wack it is, but there are also newbies in the market, who seek for recommendations, and would take any from anyone, presuming they would know better. Even on this platform, some were constantly promoting Oando. Surprisingly now, they are nowhere to be found. Advice to all investors is to take Recommendations only from someone who can confidently tell you to keep on buying the stock, even when the price keeps going down, because based on their analysis, it will spring back. This market is harsh enough, and for those who are extremely smart, but we can all also choose to also be Fair enough, while playing the games of this market. ✌️ |

This queue of Oando people that I see willing to jump out through the window, seem desperate to collect any amount even if it is N2.00 As one person informed me, they so distrust Oando's Tinubu that they are not even sure if he will later pay them the proposed N7.07 |
