Hmmm, Na wa oh. I would agree to burning a thief alive before I left Nigeria. My 10 years in American have

changed my ways of thinking that I see burning a mere thief alive as been really uncivilized and unreasonable.

There are others justifiable ways to punish a thief
Well we live in an uncivilised and unreasonable society, and moreover the robber arent civilised nor reasonable either.

@ Topic

Question; Why is the Nigerian society so damn corrupt??

Answer; It's Naija!! What more do you want to hear?? It's corrupt but we are still living. Corrution is our way of life. You are born into corruption. From the doctors and nurses who delivered you with fake drugs, to the fake baby milk you grew up with, to the corrupt policemen who gurad the society to the teachers who collects money from you in order for you to pass, to the filling ststion attendant who selld fuel to you above the stipulated price, to the everybody who is corrupt in their own way.

But I'm loving it. So if E vex you too much, you can go to Algeria.

Abeg make una show me where fuel dey jo!! wetin sef!! See as all of una dey do like say if thief come una house come thief and una catch am, una no go burn am alive too.

I still can forget the day they caught this supposed thief in my former neighbourhood, men it was like OMG!! people were trooping out of their houses with sticks and stones. Together we beat the shit out of the dude. One guy ran into his house and brought out some old tyres and suggested we burn the dude alive. The only luck that saved that robber was the fact that there was fuel scarcity that period and nobody was willing to waste the little they had on this thief.
He was later handed over to the police who released him after some money must have changed hands. He was never tried in any court neither did he see the inside of any prison.

I support marshal Law O! Burn them alive to send a message to other would be thiefs and robbers. And moreover, it is another means of population control.

sorry not raw gold! this chaps want ready ornamental gold.
it goes to proof u don't deal in gold. no gold merchant will ask such , question.

please guys don't be misled o. Gold is sold in kano the cheapest u can find in niaja, usually brougt in by dealers from maybe dubai.
It's amazing that in your bid to make me look bad you have only ended up making an ass of your self.
No gold merchant will ask such a question you say?? Well just to enlighten your ignorant self, I deal in raw gold, with my source in Ghana. I was only attracted to this bloody thread by the word "cheap gold" cos in my line of business, cheap gold could only mean one of the following;
> Either the gold is not real (prolly pyrite, copper or any gold allotrope) or
> The price of Gold on the international market has dropped, or
> The seller is am illiterate that does not know the worth of Gold.

I only buy raw gold in the range of 18 - 24 Karats. Not cheap ornamentad gold plated necklaces that are imported from dubai that will burn your skin after 1 week.

All you should have done was answer the damned post and not run your mouth. And by the way there is nothing like cheap gold. It's either gold or whateva it is you buy.

Christianity EtcRe: Sunday Morning: How Was Church? by Esss(m): 5:32pm On Jul 07, 2008
kidub:
i don't understand what chrisoml meant by the 'same shit' where do you worship? that word is absurd to come from
a christian and im very sure you are a sunday sunday church goer. Well i had a great time in my church and my
pastor ministered about the person of the holy spirit. He is the third person of the Godhead and without the holy
spirit you cannot leave an effective christian life. You must have a relationship with the holy spirit to leave
a victorious life. read John 14:26, acts 1:8, mark 15:16-17
Let me explain. The preaching is basically the same old shit. If it is not about "Giving", it's something that has to do with "faith" or hell or the devil or demons, or your relation in the village witch hunting you, or speaking in tongues. I could tell you all the pastor will say as soon as he announces the topic.

But hey the pastor cracked me up last sunday in church. I swear this is a true story according to the pastor;

Some dudes (supposed missionaries), were in this war torn community where they were killing peeps on the regular (like rwanda). So on this fateful day, the pastor in the story and his sidekick were out for a walk when they stumbled upon a massacre in progress. According to the preacher, there were dead bodies spewn all over the place. So the killers came upon them (the missionaries) and asked them to get on their knees and do somethnig (I didnt quite hear this part). But the next thing the killers started shooting at the missionaries and (In the exact words of the preacher) "when the smoke form the gun shots cleared, they saw both missionaries jumping around speaking in tongues and praying with not even a single bullet wound on any of them". (At this point I shouted "Odeshi", laughed myself to my satisfaction, picked up my bible and went out for a beer. I had heard enough.) And you should have seen the entire church clapping and screaming praise the lord.

In fact last sunday should be called sunday of a thousand laughs.

What a bunch of suckers. Smoke from gunshots??

@ Hurxley

Those videos explained what I was saying. Our churches are filled with high energy activities that whip the congregation into a frenzy hence making it easy to hypnotise them without their knowing.

Christianity EtcRe: Sunday Morning: How Was Church? by Esss(m): 6:36pm On Jul 06, 2008
The same shit you get every sunday.

First they sing some worship songs to get you in the mood,
Then the pastor comes and gives some mortivational speeches backed with some bible passages,
And then they pary about everything you can think of on earth,
Oh! and ofcourse they collect your money I mean offering, tithe, building offering, seed faith offering, burnt sacrifice offering, e.t.c offering

then they send you home reminding you of the daily services.

@Topic,real but not a requirement for making heaven.
Who is talking about making heaven, the question is falling under the anointing.

Where in the bible did anybody fall under the anointing?
Even when Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to baptise his disciples, the bible said nothing about anybody falling. So where did christians get this idea of falling down as a sign of recieving the spirit??
why is this such a big deal amongst christians??
why are some people more likely to fall under the anointing everytime the pastor prays than others??
Why is it that in the orthodox churches, falling under the anointing does not happen??

This falling thing has become the highlight of most pentecostal church services and crusades. Look at the adverts for churches on T.V, T.B Joshua, Chris Oyakhilome, e.t.c. the main scenes of the ads are falling under the anointing.

For those who have fallen. what did you experience?

There was a video on YouTube featuring a British comedian called Ali G and the evangelical preacher Benny Hinn, in which Hinn tried to slay Ali G in the spirit right on stage in front of thousands ( now millions) . Everyone around Ali G fell to the ground except Ali G, who stood his ground. Hinn walked up to him and put his hand on G's forehead and push hard but G did not move. They were caught in a duel, with Hinn pushing and G resisting for about a minute. In the end Hinn gave up and walked away.

This was such bad publicity for the Hinn co-operation that he has had it censored from Youtube. But this was really good comedy.
Are you serious?? was it the real hinn??
