U asked me 2 ask eniola badmus about her experience. I was assuming u had done d same. Obviously, u hadn't. She said people call her fat. Is she not fat? Isn't that d word used 2 describe her size? If she is beautiful & they say she is beautiful, is that a bad thing? D problem is that most folks like u are d ones who c fat in a derogatory way. If a person thinks that he or she is fat, is plastic surgery d way to loose weight?

According 2 her, its in Nigeria that they don't appreciate fat people. Let her go abroad& c d way fat people are discriminated against especially in modelling, hence d mad rush 2b skinny cos of d so called celebrities are skinny
So you actually know fat people are being discriminated against?
I'm done with you.

This only resonates with my post here a few days ago:

But wait, at what point does the yearn for a better body become insecurity? People eat less to look slimmer, we think it's acceptable. People hit the gym to get a better look, we OK this. People take slim tea to reduce their weight, still fine. Then some hit the hospital to cut out some flesh here and there and boom! We're outraged. Makes one to wonder, who defined this limit or threshold?

Call it insecurity or not, everyone wants to look better and for some, surgery is the strategy. Why shame them? When they are fat and shapeless, we shame them. When they go under the knife to look better, we're still here to shame them.

RMD should rather address those shaming fat women and the likes first. You don't solve a problem from the node, address the root cause.

How then do you interact with the grassroots if you don’t walk on the streethuh You guys are already clustered with 30K stipends hence you now defend laxity from your pay masters.
Bro, you didn't need to generalise and insult that guy. There's no way the governor would be walking the streets as freely as he used to. It's not obtainable anywhere. If it is not supporters, it'd be non supporters or journalists or any form of paparazzi. He'd definitely attract attention as the number one person in the state, like it or not. We all know this, so why the sentiment?

No one is saying he can't move into the streets with his entourage for grassroot interaction. But he cannot walk the streets freely like a common man. Fact.

Lol.. funny.

But what's funnier is how no one is blaming the man for messing up the poor lady like this. Imagine if it were the bride that walked away on the wedding day. She would have been under fire by now. That's when you'd hear things like "these hoes cannot be trusted", "this one still wants to enjoy olosho lifestyle", "indecisive women everywhere", etc.

A man that cannot make up his mind till the wedding day .....

Please if I get ADR from Accra, does it mean that my file processing has been completed in Canada, and awaiting issuance of PPR from Accra.

If my file have been successfully accessed in Canada, why is Accra requesting Schedule A in ADR?

Thirdly, what’s the essence of the schedule A, if someone hasn’t raised a CSE and the circumstance remains the same?

Fourthly, assuming I spot an insignificant error in my application, is it necessary to make the change in the ADR or simply allow the status quo to remain?
If you get ADR from Accra, it simply means that's your VO. "Canada" does not complete visa processing, they dispatch it to VO's some of which are in Canada.

Guys aren't far behind. Really?
I'm not a female.

And girls always finding a way to drag men into their matter? Seriously? Scan through NL and tell me honestly who's always on the other's matter. Going by your logic, this exact thread is women's matter yet you have more men commenting here than women. The person I quoted is a guy yet deemed it upon himself to come here with baseless statistics just to shame women. RMD himself is a man yet he is on women's matter. You see all these but chauvinism won't let you be honest.

It is well.

unfortunately, 97.5% of Nigerian ladies are not secure in their looks, hence the urge to always enhance and re-enhance their body.......ask bobrisky
True some ladies are not ok with their bodies but this your cooked up statistics is too much nah. Lol.

Anyway, corporal insecurities are real and men are not excluded. Some take drugs to enlarge their thing, some take substances to gain muscles when gym has refused to work, the thin ones can't remove their shirts in public, etc. All these are due to ableism. So yeah, women take looks more seriously but men aren't far behind.
Crime › Re: NSCDC Operatives Arrest 2 Over Sexual Intercourse In Public During Ramadan by etrange:
In public? How believable is this?

I personally believe the expression "in public" is abused here. No teen in his right senses would come in grand public to have se.x regardless of how bold he is. That would be against all odds: age, religion, location, common sense, etc. It just doesn't add up. I'm almost certain these kids were caught pants down in their hidding place. The twist of having se.x in public wasn't necessary cause the girl is underage so it would have been a crime a nevertheless. These guys probably just needed something else to hold on to in case people call them out for unjust arrest based on religion.
