Well developer skills I tend to categorise them into programming and non programming
I'll start with the non programming
Skills like professional web content creator with WordPress ,joomla, Wix , woo commerce, Shopify, and others fall in this category. You can develop even dynamic websites with just dragging and dropping graphics contents and templates without you writing a single line of code and mostimes someone cant even tell the difference between a well developed WordPress site and a website that was hard coded.
This is recommended for people that loves web design especially frontend development that can't get their hands on writing codes
programming
This doesn't need much introduction.
It consists of
I. frontend development
ii. Backend development
iii. Mobile/software development
iv. Desktop app development
v. Embedded systems/ internet of things(IOT)
frontend development
This is what the user interacts with i.e the websites you see and log into ,the URL you navigate to to surf a website. What makes up front end dev is html, CSS, JavaScript these have been the basic front end dev requirements but with innovations frameworks, libraries and other languages have come to be part of front end dev. I'll list a few: reactjs, ionic, angular, Vuejs, jquery, bootstrap, nextjs are popular JavaScript Frameworks and libraries for web development.
Reactjs seems to be the boss amongst these JavaScript libraries and framework some will argue it's angular js.
CSS also has evolved as frameworks like tailwind, scss and others have emerged and have seen to be making headlight
If you are interested in these stack you must be grounded in JavaScript, CSS and HTML as all frameworks are evolved from native JavaScript.

Backend is like a puppeteer that manipulates a puppet(frontend app) with strings(JSON or YAML data)
The backend controls how the frontend behaves per user interaction with the webapp as lots of implementations have to be put in place to make the experience seemless in the frontend. Languages for backend are java, c#, python, JavaScript, dart, ruby, PHP etc. Popular frameworks for backend are nodejs, Django, flask, ruby on rails, spring boot, laravel etc.
